Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 484: Chapter 355: Setting Out for the Mine, Aftershocks Unsettled

More than ten minutes later, the kobolds finally all sat on the Burden-Bearer Mecha.

Zong Shen looked up and saw the backs of each Burden-Bearer Mecha packed with kobolds.

On one of the Burden-Bearer Mechas sat three Burrowing Demons. Their large size took up a lot of space, so to save room, five or six kobolds sat on their abdomen sacs and shoulders.

It looked both funny and awkward; these burrow-dwelling kobolds were actually part of the diet for the Burrowing Demons.

Now, because of Zong Shen, they were together, remarkably coexisting peacefully and unusually.

Watching this made Zong Shen chuckle; he noticed the disdainful expressions on the Burrowing Demons’ faces.

The kobolds, however, were naturally talkative, chirping continuously as they sat on their backs, looking very excited.

Once everything was ready, Zong Shen called Marie, instructing her to start planning the territory and migration today.

First, move the defense buildings to ensure no defensive gaps, then relocate functional buildings like the Blacksmith Shop, Tailor Shop, Magic Hall, and houses.

Most of the Warriors will remain in the territory, patrolling in small teams to ensure a safe migration and construction process.

After saying that, Zong Shen brought out Pigsy, and a golden navigation arrow appeared in front of him, guiding the optimal path to the mine.

Zong Shen rode Pigsy at the front, with Luna riding the Sentinel Black Panther beside him.

Behind them were four Burden-Bearer Mechas loaded with kobolds.

At the very back was a squad of Tier Four Immortal Gun Cavalry.

The entire team, not small in momentum, set out grandly towards the mine.

...

Meanwhile, at the Burial Ground north of Odu Village.

Outside the excavation site of the Calamity Raven Church, the remaining expeditionary army and Bang City’s support troops had completely surrounded it.

The collapsed pit had yet to be fully excavated, indicating that the three Saint Elders and the remaining eight Cold Crow Halberd Warriors were still underground.

On the surface were only a squad of Heretical Giant Power Knights, a squad of Calamity Mages, and six half-dead Raven Puppets.

Among them was also Wang Xuan, as these Raven Puppets barely had any vitality, half-buried in the ground as if they had lost their Strength.

After a night of cleanup and reorganization, the expeditionary army had fewer than 400 people left.

However, support from Boss Bang had arrived, and with the surviving Blue Owl Cavalry, they totaled about six or seven hundred.

”Surrender, this is the Kingdom’s land.”

”Don’t make futile resistance.”

Kunyel rode forward, speaking loudly.

After resting and cleansing, the bloodstains on his Battle Armor were gone.

Only the visible damage remained, with one cut from a Great Halberd almost tearing his Battle Armor apart.

Hearing this, the two squads of Church Warriors looked at each other in dismay, as the three Saint Elders were buried in the ruins.

Odu Village’s line of defense was completely destroyed, and the whereabouts of Lady Saintess were unknown.

Without a Commander, they naturally lost the will and morale to fight.

Under such circumstances, all they could do was surrender, lay down their weapons, and raise their Two-Handed as a gesture of surrender.

The Heretical Giant Power Knight dismounted, gently patted the head of his Warhorse, and then raised his hand.

Without a word, they silently made the gesture of surrender.

Kunyel had no objection to this, as he knew it was the last dignity for these Heretic Warriors.

With a wave of his hand, the support troops from Bang City brought out hemp ropes and tied up all the captives.

At the same time, the six powerless Raven Puppets were also tied up as if they were lifeless statues.

The Lentax Mage Association would likely be very interested in these puppets made from human materials.

Next to Kunyel was a young man also riding a Warhorse.

He had brown curly hair, a fair complexion, and although not very handsome, he exuded a certain scholarly aura.

His mount was noticeably shorter than the Dragon Scale Warhorses as it was simply a Grassland Horse outfitted with Light Armor, as was his gear.

Compared to the Dragon Descendant Knight Order, his equipment appeared rather simple.

This young man was named Harold Chebman, the support Commander of Boss Bang.

He was also the son of Baron Bezos Chebman.

After the Vice Church Warriors were all captured, Kunyel turned to Harold.

”Harold, are you sure there’s no rotund little guy leading Immortal Gun Cavalry in your support team from Boss Bang?”

”His name is Quete, about 1.73 meters tall, and around thirty years old.”

”That rotund guy was carrying your father’s Noble Title Card yesterday.”

”I verified that Noble Title Card, and it’s genuine.”

Kunyel spoke slowly, his tone filled with deep confusion.

The young man named Harold solemnly shook his head.

”Uncle Kunyel, I’ve already confirmed with my Adjutant.”

”No Immortal Gun Cavalry is active in Boss Bang.”

”There’s no officer named Quete in Boss Bang either.”

”And my father’s Noble Title Card was with him till I went on this mission.”

Harold truthfully relayed the situation to Kunyel.

Hearing his words, Kunyel nodded slightly and turned his head back.

His heart grew more puzzled. Although Quete didn’t do anything out of line,

upon careful consideration, he seemed to be inciting a full-scale attack.

Thus, once the battle started, he disappeared without a trace.

But what was the motive?

Any event should have a motive, right?

Leading the expeditionary army against the Calamity Raven Church was destined to happen.

What could the other party possibly gain from it?

This baffled Kunyel.

However, after Odu Village was breached, a mysterious force indeed appeared, frantically plundering the villagers and remaining supplies of Odu Village.

This mysterious force had a considerable number and a mixed formation, seemingly an unlawful armed group that emerged from nowhere.

At the time, Kunyel led the surviving Dragon Descendant Cavalry in Pursuit, while the remaining expeditionary army and Bang City support troops clashed with the mysterious force.

They killed over a hundred warriors from this mysterious force, and upon clearing the battlefield afterward, they found that it was indeed a ragtag army, featuring units from Tier One to Three, including some simply trained armed farmers.

Such soldiers were often classified as Tier One.

The most suspicious part was this mysterious force’s substantial number of Wolf Riders.

This was a characteristic troop of the ancient Desolate Wolf Tribe, which had disappeared seven or eight thousand years ago.

The Desolate Wolf Tribe lived in this nearby region even before Avalon was founded.

Their tribe had a Giant Wolf Totem and could tame Grassland Wolves.

The Wolf Riders and Giant Wolf Knights under their command were very powerful, actively serving as Rangers on the prairie.

Kunyel couldn’t be sure whether Quete was related to the mysterious force from last night.

He suddenly thought of something else and again turned to Hadro.

”Hadro, I discovered something odd along the way.”

Hadro gestured that he was all ears upon hearing Kunyel.

”There are many small-scale settlements along the way.”

”The number of these Settlements is strangely high.”

”Coming all the way here, without actively searching, hundreds have been spotted.”

”Because of urgent military matters, we didn’t verify whether these Settlements had Bang City’s approval.”

”But this phenomenon is definitely not normal.”

”The Kingdom cannot allow so many unauthorized Settlements to appear.”

”When I return, I’ll inform the Marquis of this situation.”

”You’ll also return and notify your father, making preparations for a screening within your jurisdiction!”
