Global Lords: I Have Information System

There were only over thirty warriors left on the Calamity Raven Church’s side.

Although they could activate their full potential under the Raven Ceremony, and even overdraft their life to gain a temporary undead body.

But that didn’t mean they couldn’t be restrained; some Church warriors were pinned to the ground by lances, while others were bound by chain scythes and hemp ropes.

In battle, the expeditionary army found a way to deal with these Church warriors, which was to find a way to control them.

...

Apart from the main characters in this confrontation, things near the Tower of the Raven were in utter chaos.

A large number of lords led their warriors into the village, attempting to plunder the warehouses near the Tower of the Raven and capture the farmers and warrior hostages.

However, they were met with strong resistance from a squad of Heretical Giant Power Knights stationed beneath the Tower of the Raven.

In an instant, a lance charge took down dozens from the Lord’s side.

At that moment, a group of unexpected guests arrived at the base of the tower and began their frantic operations.

These lords numbered in the hundreds, with about seven or eight hundred gathering together, employing various flamboyant tactics.

They had arrived around Odu Village more than ten minutes ago, observing until now.

They also discovered the expeditionary army’s method of dealing with these Calamity Raven Church warriors.

Various control-type tools were thrown at the Heretical Giant Power Knights, restraining them in place, then they quickly tied them up with hemp ropes.

Because these Heretical Giant Power Knights were in a special state and couldn’t be captured, after subduing them, the lords planned to head to the tower base but found that unexpected guests had already arrived and taken away some farmers.

Their entourage numbered dozens, likely another lord’s influence.

The leader, carrying a longbow and wearing a hood, retrieved three tracked Magic Energy Mechas with a backhand, and dozens of people started loading the captured farmers and warriors into the cargo holds.

Their movements were swift and crude, with each cargo hold nearly packed with seventy to eighty people, forming a precarious human mountain.

Their actions were so fast, the entire process took less than half a minute, and the three Burden-Bearer Mechas departed.

But that wasn’t the end; among the remaining dozens, the stronger ones each lifted a farmer with both hands, while the weaker ones shouldered a farmer and left.

When everyone arrived, they had moved over a hundred meters away, and some lords wanted to pursue, but seeing the four to five hundred farmers and hostages remaining at the site, they started looting instead.

Although the previous group took quite a few, there were more left on site, making it more worthwhile to loot here than to chase them.

Thus, sixty to eighty lords began looting the site.

Outside the village, Zong Shen’s communication crystal on his chest lit up, and Wenresa sent a communication request.

Zong Shen swiftly chose to connect.

Wenresa’s slightly panting voice came from the other end of the communication crystal.

”Huff...huff...”

”Sir, I’ve successfully led the team to capture over three hundred farmers and soldiers from the village.”

Zong Shen was overjoyed, as getting a solo piece of the pie from such chaos was impossible; managing to seize over three hundred farmers and captured warriors was already quite good.

This could only be accomplished with excellent timing, and Wenresa and her team far exceeded Zong Shen’s previous expectations.

”Well done, now head back to the territory immediately!”

”Also, request support from the territory, have Marie deploy the goblin airship, and have two goblin drivers operate it to assist you.”

”I’ll have the Wolf Cavalry and Immortal Gun Cavalry support you.”

”Distribute the personnel; the giant wolves and warhorses can each carry an additional person.”

Zong Shen hurriedly instructed, as Wenresa’s most important task now was to safely bring these farmers and captured warriors back to the territory.

”Understood, sir, I’ll contact Marie immediately and continue leading the team eastward.”

Wenresa responded quickly and then disconnected the communication crystal.

”Cecilia, Korby, you two lead the team eastward now.”

”Escort Wenresa and her group back to the territory, and let the dismounted warriors ride with you.”

”Remember, your task is to bring those farmers and captured warriors back to the territory as quickly as possible!”

Zong Shen instructed urgently, as he had stationed Wenresa in the village’s east side for this moment.

These farmers and captured warriors were the most lacking population resources for the territory’s current development stage, so they absolutely couldn’t be allowed to fail.

Hearing Zong Shen’s words, Korby and Cecilia nodded, understanding the importance of the matter, and led the warriors towards the east without saying a word.

Zong Shen watched as Korby and the group went east, riding on Pigsy, and continued to gaze into the village.

The light around the Raven Saintess Shafuri dimmed to the extreme, nearing the point of exhaustion.

The lords under the tower were looting farmers and hostages, with some people taking what they could and quickly leaving Odu Village with seven or eight farmers.

Others were fighting over more farmers, leading to increasing chaos on-site.

At this moment, the expeditionary army reached the base of the tower.

At the top of the Tower of the Raven, Shafuri exhausted her last reserves of power of faith, and even consumed her own strength to maintain the Raven Ceremony a bit longer.

Now she could no longer sustain the Raven Ceremony, and the surrounding light completely disappeared, causing her to fall to the tower’s top.

Her face turned pale, almost unable to stand, and the deacon behind her immediately came up to support her.

Without the support of the Raven Ceremony, the Church warriors who bore countless injuries yet remained undead also ended their lives at this moment.

The expeditionary army advanced like a broken bamboo, charging toward the Tower of the Raven.

The Calamity Raven Church’s operation ultimately failed.

The faces on the stewards remaining at the tower were filled with resoluteness.

They all sat down, using daggers to slit their wrists, letting their blood gather drip by drip on the ground in front of them, then began chanting an esoteric magic spell.

A mass of black light emerged from the blood, enveloping the weakened Raven Saintess Shafuri, descending to the tower base, and carrying her off to the northeast outside the village, attempting to reach the northern hilly region.

The mass of black light wasn’t fast, only slightly faster than a typical grassland horse, but it was the only means of escape for Shafuri at present.

The expeditionary army saw Shafuri being swept away by the black light and immediately split into two; the Blue Owl Knights and infantry warriors headed for the Tower of the Raven.

While Kunyel led the remaining Dragon Knight to pursue Saintess Shafuri.

Zong Shen narrowed his eyes, riding Pigsy, also pursuing in the direction Shafuri fled.

That black light was just slightly faster than a typical grassland horse but far slower than the Dragon Scale Warhorses of the Dragon Knights, so it was only a matter of time before they caught up.

About twelve or thirteen kilometers northeast of the territory, after crossing the Burial Ground, Raven Saintess Shafuri was caught by the Dragon Descendants.

A squad of Dragon Knights intercepted Shafuri from the front using their speed advantage.

Behind, blood-soaked and in tattered battle armor, Kunyel and the remaining less than four squads of Dragon Knights arrived, surrounding Raven Saintess Shafuri.

A blood-stained lance was pointed at Shafuri’s snow-white neck.

All the knights lifted their visors, their faces filled with resentment.

This was the moment of Shafuri’s true crisis!
