Chapter 462: Chapter 344: The Powerful Skeleton Knight and Double Rescue

But under the lance of the Lion Skeleton Knight, they were as fragile as paper.

The Skeleton Knight only stopped two to three hundred meters behind them, lifting its lance as if raising a flag pierced with corpses.

This scene made Kunyel shiver with fear; before decaying and falling, this Skeleton Knight was undoubtedly a significant figure, slaughtering tier four cavalry as if slaughtering cattle and sheep.

However, no lancer cavalry can continuously maintain a lance charge stance.

The second time to mount a lance requires preparation time, and now they might have the chance to escape.

”Retreat! Retreat immediately!”

With this guy blocking the way, not to mention continuing the pursuit, being able to escape would already be considered lucky.

Kunyel hurriedly shouted, the power gap between the two sides was too vast, although their attacks could also inflict 70 to 80 points of damage, if they were to fight to the death, they might win, but it would certainly come at a great cost.

This operation was already miserable enough; if his remaining subordinates fell here, his knight squadron might be disbanded entirely.

Even he himself might not be confident of returning to Lentax Giant City alive.

Although this mission came at a heavy loss, if they gathered the bodies of those Church Warriors and brought them back to the Giant City, explaining to the authorities, he might face some punishment, but with family ties, Kunyel could still maintain his dignity and position.

But if he died here, it would be over; any glory or noble title would become fleeting clouds.

So he decisively chose to lead a retreat.

The other Dragon Descendant Knights did the same; the power gap made them feel powerless.

However, as elite cavalry of the Kingdom Knight Order, they would charge without hesitation if Kunyel ordered an attack.

But now, following the boss to flee was the best strategy.

All the Dragon Descendant Knights urged their horses into a gallop, rapidly retreating towards Odu Village.

The Dragon Scale Warhorses had a speed of 7, 2 points faster than ordinary Avalon Prairie Horses, with strong rush abilities and fast speed.

However, they still fell short compared to the Skeleton Warhorse ridden by the Lion Skeleton Knight.

The Skeleton Knight behind them had initiated a pursuit, shaking off the bodies of the four Dragon Descendant Knights skewered on its lance.

The speed of the Skeleton Warhorse was swift, quickly closing the distance between them. Previously, the Dragon Descendant Knights used their speed advantage to pursue Zong Shen, but now they were being hunted by the Lion Skeleton Knight.

Fate was such a wondrous thing, an endless cycle and reincarnation.

The distance between them narrowed rapidly, and the Lion Skeleton Knight waved its other arm.

Two to three hundred meters away, the legs of the escaping Dragon Descendant Knights’ horses were suddenly entangled by bone claws.

The bone claws burst from the earth, swiftly wrapping around the limbs and hooves, binding them in place.

The intertwining bone claws formed a base of bone under the horses.

As an undead of the Undead Race, the Skeleton Knight naturally mastered some undead skills.

All the Dragon Descendant Knights were filled with despair, they had no choice and wouldn’t abandon their horses, instead turning their lances to face the approaching Skeleton Knight.

The scene appeared rather tragic; if not for the previous heavy casualties among the Dragon Descendant Knights, a full-squadron of Dragon Descendant Knights in pristine condition might have been able to handle it.

At most, they would suffer some personnel casualties but could still eliminate it.

But now, only over forty Dragon Descendant Knights remained, all injured, having exhausted most of their skills and methods in the earlier battle with the Church Warriors.

Therefore, they faced the fierce attacks of Lion Skeleton Knight Richardson in such a passive state.

...

On Zong Shen’s side, since the Dragon Descendant Knights in the rear were blocked by the Skeleton Knight, he led Saintess Shafuri into the mountain without looking back.

He instructed Pigsy to take Shafuri and sneak into the woods, while he took out the Mechanical Falcon, controlling it for reconnaissance in the direction they came from.

The Falcon flew swiftly, far surpassing ground mounts.

It quickly soared over the heads of the Dragon Descendant Knights, witnessing Skeleton Knight Richardson using a special undead control skill to bind them on the spot.

Zong Shen’s mind raced; rescuing Raven Saintess Shafuri alone wasn’t satisfactory enough.

Relations with the Kingdom Forces could still be fostered positively.

Now that the effect of the Transformation Potion had ended, Zong Shen also didn’t plan to waste it; having multiple identities would be quite advantageous when navigating various indigenous forces.

He removed the Strength Demon Armor, brought out the spare Tiroka Bear Battle Armor, and also took off his Silver Battle Helmet, revealing his true face.

Zong Shen quickly made a decision, which was to rescue Kunyel!

However, he was now at the northern mountain entrance, at least five to six kilometers away from Kunyel’s location.

He had no mount since Pigsy carried Wenresa, and Pigsy couldn’t be exposed before the Dragon Descendant Knight Order.

Suddenly, an idea struck him; he flipped out Aegwynn’s Book of Ten Thousand Laws.

He chose to extract spatial, support-type magic skills!

Spatial assistance skills usually meant Space Movement, but it involved random draws from tier one to three; a low-tier spatial assistance skill might not allow for great distance.

He could only try his luck now.

Soon, the skill selection concluded, and the Book of Ten Thousand Laws extracted 70 points of his Mana.

[Extraction Successful]

[Tier Two Space Assistance Magic, Basic Flash]

Zong Shen’s body was tugged by a peculiar spatial force.

An elliptical silver glow appeared around him, and in the next moment, space twisted; simultaneously, in the direction he faced five kilometers away, another elliptical silver glow appeared.

His body appeared within this silver glow, crossing five kilometers instantly.

Luckily, he faced the position of the Dragon Descendant Knights beforehand; otherwise, he might have ended up in another direction unexpectedly.

He barely had time to marvel at the wonders of space magic, quickly storing Aegwynn’s Book of Ten Thousand Laws in his storage grid and keeping the Mechanical Falcon circling.

From here, about seven to eight hundred meters away from the Dragon Descendant Knight’s location, in just a short moment, three to four Dragon Descendant knights had already come to grief, falling from their mounts, their fates unknown.

Due to the darkness and distance, he couldn’t clearly see the Skeleton Knight’s actions.

He could only observe each time it struck with its lance, a Dragon Descendant Knight would fall.

And this was while the Skeleton Knight wasn’t in charge mode.

Its so-called normal damage was two lances per tier four knight, an impressively frightening lethality.

However, the Dragon Descendant Knights didn’t remain passive, attempting with their lances to hold and block it.

Zong Shen didn’t delay any longer, afraid that if he arrived late, Kunyel would be killed.

He quickly broke into a run, and due to high Basic Attributes, he moved swiftly.

Within 30 to 40 seconds, he reached the Dragon Descendant Knights, loudly shouting.

”Don’t be afraid, sirs!”

”I’m here to help you!”

Upon hearing this, Kunyel saw a young man in Armor of the Violent Bear wielding a Royal Guard Battle Sword charging towards the Skeleton Knight, feeling puzzled and speechless.

”Young man, run quickly!”

Though unsure where this young man came from, rushing forward like this was akin to courting death, so Kunyel couldn’t help but call out a warning.

But in the next moment, an incredible scene unfolded that left him stunned!
