Naruto: Reborn as Konoha's Idol

Chapter 91: Chapter 91 Come sit here and watch; there are snacks and drinks.

”Sasuke is dueling his brother.”

”I saw all the crackling from outside; so it’s the brothers fighting. But Sasuke is clearly no match; why didn’t you guys go help?”

”He said he wanted to take revenge himself and wouldn’t let us interfere. Besides, the other side has a helper too. If we act, he’ll surely act; if we don’t move, he won’t move either.”

Kano pointed her finger at Kisame, who also looked over. Kano took the opportunity to greet him.

”Come sit here and watch; there are snacks and drinks.”

Seeing that Kano had no hostility, the honest Kisame walked over simple-mindedly. He took the snack Kano handed him and confirmed it wasn’t poisoned.

”Thank you.”

So the four of them sat there eating snacks while watching the Uchiha brothers’ battle.

”Pull his hair! Pull his hair!”

”Kick him in the nuts!”

”Follow up with a slide tackle after that move! You’re playing too poorly!”

”Mr. Itachi, down there, watch out below!”

Itachi was also getting frustrated, but unfortunately, frustration was useless. More than half of an Uchiha’s combat power is in their eyes. But now the air was filled with Chili powder, lime powder, pepper... and Disco lights that flashed from time to time.

Sasuke, wearing goggles, was in a much better state than Itachi.

But he knew he’d get beaten if he got close, so he kept up the long-range output. The two fought intensely, and more than half of the hotel was demolished. The other guests had all been scared away, leaving only the hotel’s Proprietress still watching them tear her house apart. Even so, Sasuke inevitably ran out of items.

”My foolish little brother, thinking that relying on such petty tricks...”

Grabbing Sasuke by the throat and pinning him against the wall, he was only halfway through his sentence. He had intended to force his eyes open to give Sasuke a Tsukuyomi refresher on the night of the massacre to deepen his hatred.

As a result, the unscrupulous Sasuke spat out the Chili powder he had been holding in his mouth, covering Itachi’s face.

Kano couldn’t help but comment in her heart; Sasuke was too ruthless. If it were her, she wouldn’t be able to hold Chili powder in her mouth for so long; she was most afraid of spicy food.

Having run out of items, Sasuke was naturally beaten up by Uchiha Itachi until he fell unconscious. While hitting him, Itachi kept turning his head toward Kano’s side, as if on guard against someone coming to save Sasuke. In reality, he was hinting to Kano and the others to hurry up and take Sasuke away; he wasn’t really going to kill him.

Kano was about to step forward to save Sasuke, but Kisame extended Samehada to block her, and Jiraiya also grabbed Kano’s collar.

Kano was speechless for a moment. It’s fine if Kisame is being honest, but Jiraiya, don’t you understand?

Jiraiya probably didn’t know Kano’s true strength.

”Naruto, go save Sasuke quickly. If you don’t save him, he’ll be beaten to death.”

”I’m going!”

Naruto rushed out in a flash. Just as Kisame was about to intervene, Shadow Zabuza blocked him with his blade.

”What? Is that the kubikiribōchō?”

Who wasn’t one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen? Kisame obviously didn’t recognize this black mass as Zabuza, but he recognized the shape of the blade as the kubikiribōchō.

Before Itachi’s fake fatal blow, Naruto saved Sasuke in the nick of time.

Uchiha Itachi, still with his eyes closed, also pretended to go for a finishing blow, and Jiraiya protected Naruto. As for Kisame, he was blocked by Kano, who had no intention of fighting him.

He’s an honest man, and Kano didn’t want to bully him.

Kano wouldn’t kill Uchiha Itachi either; their brotherhood matters should be left to them, otherwise Sasuke wouldn’t be able to untie that knot in his heart.

This was also why Kano hadn’t killed Danzo in advance.

These were all left for Sasuke.

But the remaining two Parasites, she would kill them next time she went back. For now, they were still needed to temporarily manage Konoha; once Tsunade returned, they wouldn’t be needed anymore.

”Kisame, let’s go!”

Kisame, who had been about to fight Kano, also honestly put away his weapon.

”You think you can just leave? It won’t be that easy. Today, I’m going to settle things with both of you here.”

Jiraiya didn’t want to let these two go; Itachi was an S-rank rogue ninja of Konoha Village.

As Itachi ran past Kano, he left behind a sentence that only the two of them could hear.

”Take care of Sasuke for me, thank you.”
