Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 617: Chapter 11: 4 Against 1 and Still Got Counter-Killed

Su Xiao instinctively formed an energy shield behind him, as the area behind is the most favored spot for a spatial type enemy to attack.

But who would have thought, the Clown attacked from the front.

The two short knives in the Clown’s hands spun at high speed, seemingly turning into two chainsaws.

Su Xiao’s muscles slightly tensed, the force started from the soles of his feet, moved through his legs, to his waist, and finally conducted into his right arm.

A frontal slash, this is Su Xiao’s combat style, favoring heavy slashes, with open and close attack styles, but he rarely exposes any weaknesses.

Dragon Slash cut through the air, emitting a terrifying whimpering sound.

The Clown’s expression changed, the neurotic smile on his face disappeared, and he held the two short knives above his head as a block.

Clang!

Dragon Slash was blocked by the two short knives, sparks flying, Demon Flame and Blue Steel Shadow energy eroded each other.

”Mr. Hunter, you don’t think I’m just a support combatant, do you?”

The Clown steadily blocked Su Xiao’s attack, do not underestimate this fact, it indicates that the Clown’s power and agility attributes are not below Su Xiao’s, and his close combat ability is not weak.

Su Xiao said nothing, just switched from holding the knife with one hand to holding it with both.

Pressing down with force, Su Xiao found that the Demon Flame on the Clown’s knives was not suppressed by Blue Steel Shadow; instead, it seemed equally matched.

”Burn.”

With a roar, the flames on the Clown’s dual knives exploded, the impact forcing Su Xiao to retreat.

The flames disappeared, Su Xiao surveyed his surroundings, the Clown was nowhere to be seen, this guy has spatial abilities, making him very agile, hesitating for a moment, he activated the light golden brand on his cuff, ’Basic Spatial Imprisonment’.

Thud!

An invisible impact spread around, a muffled groan was heard, and the Clown suddenly appeared in front of Su Xiao.

Su Xiao certainly wouldn’t miss such an opportunity, he raised his knife and slashed.

Pwack.

The long knife slashed across the Clown’s back, the Clown stumbled forward a few steps, his body leaning back indicating pain.

”So painful, what is this energy, it can even contend with Demon Flame.”

Blue Steel Shadow energy clung to the Clown’s wound, resisting some energy inside the Clown without penetrating into his body.

As he slashed the Clown once, Su Xiao immediately followed with a second slash.

The blade came slashing, the Clown positioned a short knife behind him as a block.

Clang.

After stumbling a few steps, the Clown turned to face Su Xiao.

Su Xiao sidestepped, after the initial exchange, he noticed something. The opponent’s close combat ability is not weaker than his.

Su Xiao and the Clown charged forward at the same time.

With a clang, the weapons clashed, the two barely half a meter apart.

Su Xiao withdrew half a step, Dragon Slash made continuous slashes, leaving white streaks in the air.

The Clown’s reaction was not slow, those two short knives parried Su Xiao’s slashes.

Su Xiao’s style was open and close, he used a long knife with cleaving power far exceeding short knives, the Clown was used to holding the knife reverse grip, rarely attacking first, always looking for opportunities.

Dense slashes appeared in front of them, sparks flying, for a moment Su Xiao couldn’t do anything to the Clown.

Clang!

The blade flew by, Demon Flame soared, Su Xiao and the Clown became a mass, nearby grass clippings flew around, a vast ground area turned to lava by Demon Flame.

During the battle, Su Xiao saw the Clown smiling, this guy seemed to love battle.

Su Xiao ignored this, for he too enjoyed it.

”Ring Break.”

”Flame Fang Evil.”

The circular blade aura and two flaming fangs collided, the roar echoed far away.

Su Xiao’s clothes were somewhat scorched, unknowingly, he had been fighting with the Clown for nearly an hour.

”Huff, huff.”

The Clown panted heavily, his aura beginning to weaken, although with high power and agility attributes, the Clown’s physical attributes weren’t high, it’s obviously impossible to compete against Su Xiao in endurance.

Su Xiao had extremely high attack power, was durable and resilient, and the most shameless part was, he also had a shield!

With a swoosh, the Clown disappeared from the original spot, Basic Spatial Imprisonment could only last 30 minutes, the Clown regained his spatial abilities.

In the distance, Bubu Wang watched enviously, thinking how cool it would be if it could teleport if it had such an ability, it could then show off to Su Xiao: ”Master, look at my teleport, is it cool or what!”

Su Xiao didn’t have the time to deal with Bubu Wang’s wild thoughts, at this moment he had energy shields behind him and on both sides, so he stared intently ahead.

His mana value was down to just 200 points, Su Xiao’s situation was not optimistic either.

”Let’s fight.”

The Clown let out a strange laugh, suddenly appearing above Su Xiao, the two short knives stabbed straight at Su Xiao’s head.

Su Xiao stood rooted in place, seemingly unaware that the Clown was right above him.

The two short knives stabbed down, Su Xiao’s body suddenly surged with blood-red light, his blood abruptly surged, using the ability of the [Minotaur Lord’s Arm Armor].

Equipment Effect: Minotaur Lord’s Rage (Active), after activating this skill, power +15 for 10 seconds.

Hint: Minotaur Lord’s Rage (Active) has a cooldown of 10 natural days.

Hint: Activating Minotaur Lord’s Rage (Active) requires consuming 30% of Life Value.

...

Power suddenly surged, and Su Xiao’s Power Attribute soared from 58 to an astounding 73.

Taking a deep breath, Su Xiao held his sword with both hands and delivered a simple yet formidable slash.

The clown’s expression changed drastically mid-air, intending to forcibly use his flash move ability. Su Xiao had calculated this ability, usable once every 1 to 10 minutes, with longer intervals for greater distances.

With a squelch, blood splattered; the clown disappeared, and an arm and a leg fell before Su Xiao.

The clown’s close combat ability was indeed not weak, but his endurance was lacking.

The clown appeared a dozen meters away, collapsing onto the ground, looking at his severed arm and leg.

”To be overpowered in Power Attribute, have I lost?”

The clown suddenly burst into laughter.

Su Xiao staggered a few steps, nearly falling. Earlier, he had been besieged by four people and managed to turn the tables by fatally countering two, despite severe injuries.

The clown struggled to sit up, but a blade aura flew over, and with a muffled grunt, he collapsed, with his remaining arm being severed.

Su Xiao stepped forward, placing Dragon Slash at the clown’s neck.

”You lost, the violator’s information.”

”Heh heh, hahaha.”

The clown laughed, his face full of blood.

”Did I lose? Really?”

Su Xiao frowned; since the clown wasn’t planning to abide by the rules, he decided to kill him directly.

”You won a round...”

Before the clown could finish, the long knife swept over, his head flew off, and dark red flames ignited on his corpse, consuming it shortly after.

[You have killed Solomon March, a low-level Abyss Demon.]

Solomon March? Could this be the clown’s true name?

Checking the progress of the hunting task, Su Xiao’s expression turned unreadable.

[Hunting Task: Clear the Gentleman’s Alliance (Completed 4/5)]

Many signs indicated that the clown wasn’t dead, and this low-level Abyss Demon Solomon March was likely a scapegoat the clown obtained somehow. If the Demon Bloodline could die so easily, it wouldn’t be called one of Reincarnation Paradise’s five strongest survival bloodlines.

Although he didn’t manage to kill the clown, Su Xiao wasn’t disappointed. The clown had lost two arms and a leg to him, with little chance of recovery in the Hunter World.

Previously, the clown had threatened to hunt Su Xiao; now, it was Su Xiao’s turn to pursue him.

The battle ended, and Su Xiao looked in the direction of the ’cannon,’ supposed to be a Contractor or a storyline character, who had left during the fight.

A few kilometers away, a girl named Vini put down her tablet.

”Truly grotesquely strong, four against one, counter-killing two and maiming one. Lucky I fled in time. Better keep my distance from him; staying alive is nice.”

Vini chuckled lightly, revealing neat little white teeth, categorizing Su Xiao among the top 10 on her ’not to be provoked list.’

...

Bubu Wang walked out of the bushes, and Su Xiao mounted Bubu Wang, quickly leaving the battlefield together.

One day later, in Yukexin City.

Only three days remain until the auction starts, with Yukexin City’s streets bustling with pedestrians and all sorts of stalls lining the street.

The goods on the stalls varied widely, from selling phones to antiques.

Don’t underestimate these stalls; sometimes items bought for thousands of Jieni here might sell for billions at the auction, attracting countless ’gold seekers.’

Su Xiao walked amidst the crowd, bandages wrapped around his hand; his injuries were almost healed.

Biting into a red apple, the juice was plentiful and sweet.

”Truly lively, but this time’s main quest is a bit odd. A Contractor free-for-all might break out.”

Upon arriving in Yukexin City, Su Xiao’s first main quest was completed, and the second main quest had a high degree of freedom.

[Main Quest: Free Man (Inactive)]

Difficulty Level: Lv.16

Task Description: Participate in the Yukexin Auction in any capacity.

Task Information: Cannot leave Yukexin City between September 1 and September 10.

Task Duration: 10 natural days

Task Rewards: 3000 Paradise Coins, 2 attribute points.

Task Penalty: All Attributes -3.

...

The main quest would activate on September 1; before then, he needed auction entry qualifications.

Getting involved in the auction isn’t too difficult: joining a faction or possessing sufficient Jieni suffices.

Su Xiao preferred joining a faction, with choices like the Ten Old Men’s Power (gang), Hunter’s Union, and Phantom Troupe.
