Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 611: Revised: Chapter 5: Red Clown

The long knife slashed down, and the corpse manipulated the elite infected to confront the enemy.

Su Xiao held his knife in one hand; at this moment, his right arm felt somewhat sore, a lingering side effect from using Ring Break continuously.

As he swung his knife down, the elite infected, appearing almost like a monster, raised its claw to block. The sharp bone claw glinted with a metallic sheen, making it impossible to discern its human origin.

The long knife struck the bone claw, causing bone chips to scatter.

Su Xiao’s eyebrows twitched—a sign that this thing’s power attribute was not below his, no, its power attribute was even higher than his.

”Roar!”

The elite infected roared, its blood-red mouth opening wide, with jagged fangs resembling sharp daggers.

The blood-red mouth snapped toward Su Xiao, as the corpse behind the elite infected pressed its hands onto its rear head, eyes tightly shut, controlling the elite infected’s actions.

Su Xiao stretched his palm forward, summoning an energy shield with a strength of 120 points.

With a bang, the elite infected’s head collided with the energy shield. In that instant, Su Xiao withdrew the shield.

Blue steel shadow energy surged through the blade as Su Xiao took a step forward, slashing at the corpse’s neck.

He chose not to attack the elite infected, as it was clearly controlled by the corpse. Once the corpse was killed, the infected would be easy to handle.

Poch.

The blade cut through the corpse’s neck, sending its head flying.

The head flew into the air, showing no fear or surprise. Its eyes only held anger and disdain, with a hint of conspiratorial success.

After decapitating the corpse, Su Xiao paused only briefly before delivering a second slash.

The blade targeted the corpse’s chest, as beheading it had not brought death.

This scenario was not strange to Su Xiao; violators possessed all sorts of bizarre abilities, and he had encountered even more difficult-to-kill violators before.

A face surfaced on the corpse’s chest, full of pain and disbelief.

”What the hell is this thing.”

Blue steel shadow energy invaded the corpse’s body through the wound, the intense pain nearly causing it to lose consciousness.

Poch.

The corpse’s torso was severed, and at the same moment, a brown-yellow flesh ball burst from the corpse, burrowing directly into the elite infected.

The elite infected’s body paused, its eyes showing a shift in demeanor.

”I will kill you; this is my last chance to switch bodies. I searched several derivative worlds, and you forced me into this predicament.”

The elite infected—no, it should now be the corpse—stood upright. Feeling the sturdy body, the corpse shook its head; this body was too unstable.

Right then, a purple glow appeared beside the corpse, with a purple light point floating in the air, gradually expanding.

”Here it comes.”

The corpse glared viciously at Su Xiao, as if already witnessing the enemy’s demise.

”So that’s it, survival through parasitism.”

Su Xiao’s left index finger twitched, the boundary line wrapping around the corpse’s leg. With a forceful pull, a shallow wound appeared on the corpse’s calf.

The corpse didn’t care about such a minor injury, but just as it was about to swipe at Su Xiao, blue steel shadow energy spread along the boundary line, invading its body through the wound.

”Ah!!”

A harrowing scream echoed far, and with a thud, the corpse knelt on the ground. The blue steel shadow energy was indeed its nemesis; its true form was too weak.

Su Xiao stepped forward, stabbing his knife through the corpse’s throat.

Wrapped in blue steel shadow energy, blade aura formed, generating a dozen light blue energy thorns that burst from the corpse’s body, resembling a blooming thorny flower.

”This, this...”

The corpse’s mouth opened wide, its pupils quivering.

Su Xiao planted one foot on the corpse’s shoulder, slowly withdrawing Dragon Slash.

The long knife cut down, severing the massive head of the corpse.

A brown-yellow flesh ball emerged from the elite infected, with a face appearing on it.

”This is impossible, the boss is about to arrive, why would...”

Su Xiao stomped on the brown-yellow flesh ball, splattering its juices everywhere.

[Hint: Hunter has successfully cleared Violator No.10207, the hunting mission is completed (2/5).]

[Warning: A Violator is about to approach!]

Even without Reincarnation Paradise’s prompt, Su Xiao knew a violator was approaching, as the purple light point beside the corpse rapidly expanded, gradually forming a spatial rift.

A man wearing a purple suit and a gentle smile stepped out of the spatial rift.

The man surveyed the surroundings until he spotted the crushed flesh ball.

”Oh? The corpse is already dead; another subordinate lost, though he was quite foolish.”

If he weren’t holding a Contractor’s severed head, the man would appear quite genteel.

”Seems like it was you who killed the corpse.”

The man glanced at Su Xiao, who without a word, slashed out a blade aura.

The blade aura passed through the man in the suit, to no surprise of Su Xiao, as he felt no aura from the opponent.

”No need for hostility; I’m merely a teleportation projection. By the way, you can call me Red Clown.”

Red Clown tossed the head in his hand; his true form was over a hundred kilometers away, standing over a headless body.

Studying Red Clown, Su Xiao confirmed he was indeed a projection before sheathing Dragon Slash, planning to leave the area first.

”Wait, Mr. Hunter.”

Red Clown’s smile turned manic; Su Xiao halted, glancing sideways at Red Clown.

”That name fits, right? Hunting us unreasonable Contractors, I wonder what Reincarnation Paradise calls you, perhaps Hunter too?”

Su Xiao’s eyes narrowed slightly, suspecting this violator knew something.

”So cold; rest assured, I won’t reveal your identity to others, even if I wanted to, I couldn’t. I’ve attempted hundreds of times and failed each time.”

Red Clown seemed to recall something amusing, withdrawing a small knife and pressing his thumb against the blade with force.

”Mr. Hunter, how about we play a Game?”

Red Clown cleared his throat.

”From now on, I’ll lead my subordinates to hunt you down. If you manage to kill me, I’ll tell you a secret about violators, but...”

At this point, Red Clown couldn’t suppress his excitement; the knife pierced his thumb with a thud.

”If you lose, before you die, you must tell me a secret about Hunters, how’s that for a fair game?”

Su Xiao wasn’t clear about Red Clown’s aim, but if the opponent wanted to hunt him, all the better. Even if the opponent didn’t come looking for him, he’d find a way to have a showdown.

”See you in Yukexin City.”

”Hahaha, he spoke! I thought you were mute—apologies for the indiscretion.”

Red Clown found it difficult to contain his excitement, and his emotions were highly unstable.

”See you in Yukexin City; it’s been a long time since I encountered something so interesting.”

Red Clown’s image gradually faded, as did the spatial rift.

Su Xiao sighed; if Red Clown’s true form had dared to enter the spatial rift, he’d have had a way to easily kill him—able to forcibly close the spatial rift post-entry, thereby trapping him in an unknown space. This was the Lan Kai Windcoat’s ability obtained in the Naruto World.

Branding Effect (Light Gold): Basic Spatial Imprisonment: Can ban spatial fluctuations within 50 meters, rendering fifth-tier and below space-type skills ineffective. Effect lasts 30 minutes, with a cooldown of two natural days.

...

Unfortunately, Red Clown seemed to notice something and refrained from entering the spatial rift.

”Gentleman Alliance, it seems the truly troublesome figures have yet to appear.”

Su Xiao turned and disappeared into a narrow alley.
