Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 601: Chapter 89: The Terrifying Gap

Open the skill list, Firearms Proficiency was not included in the professional list of Shadow of Annihilation Law but was instead in the ordinary skill list.

[Firearms Proficiency: Level 10. (Passive)]

Skill Effect: Increases firearm weapon attack power by 20% (not enhancing the original damage of firearms, such as Weakness Strike, ballistic prediction, etc.), and significantly increases proficiency in using various firearms.

...

[Notice: Firearms Proficiency has reached Level 10, please choose a branch ability at Level 10.]

A. Pistol Expert: Enhance pistol proficiency.

B. Fire Assault: Enhance proficiency of close to mid-range weapons like submachine guns, automatic rifles, etc.

C. Hawk-eye: Enhance the ability to correct environmental interference with bullets.

...

Three choices, Su Xiao naturally chose C, the third one is obviously prepared for sniper rifles.

Su Xiao stood up, and Bubu Wang, who was chewing ice cubes beside him, turned its head.

”Want to drink more?”

”Woof.”

”I’m going to the Skill Upgrade Hall.”

Bubu Wang raised its head; it often wandered around Reincarnation Paradise and was more familiar with the terrain here than Su Xiao.

Su Xiao got up and left, leaving Bubu Wang alone in the cold drink shop, the young lady boss was not surprised, she knew this dog, it was a regular, named Bu Bu.

The young lady boss walked forward.

”That’s your master, he looks strong.”

”Woof.”

Bubu Wang gave a disdainful bark, as if to say: ”Of course, you should see whose Master that is.”

”No wonder you’re so generous, your master must give you a lot of pocket money.”

There was a bit of envy in the young lady boss’s eyes; she was a Worker, trying to survive in Reincarnation Paradise, she could only work hard to manage this cold drink shop.

...

Skill Upgrade Hall, inside a Skill Upgrading Warehouse.

[Welcome to use the Skill Upgrading Warehouse, please select the skill to be upgraded.]

Su Xiao selected [Firearms Proficiency], a prompt appeared.

[To enhance ’Firearms Proficiency Level 10 (Passive)’ requires spending 2000 Paradise coins, pay yes/no.]

The price was within acceptability and did not require consuming Soul Crystals; only specialization level abilities began to consume Soul Crystals, so Su Xiao chose to enhance it.

Spending 2000 Paradise coins, the surroundings darkened, he stood in the darkness, a wealth of knowledge about firearms poured into his mind.

At the same time, a light shadow appeared before him, using various firearms to shoot and dismantle them, just at a speed increased hundreds of times.

Five minutes later, Su Xiao woke up.

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has been enhanced to Level 11.]

Merely increasing one level did not satisfy Su Xiao, and he continued to upgrade the skill, the previous situation repeated.

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has been enhanced to Level 12.]

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has been enhanced to Level 13.]

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has been enhanced to Level 14.]

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has been enhanced to Level 15.]

...

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has been enhanced to Level 19.]

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has been enhanced to Level 20!]

...

Upon reaching Level 20, a prompt appeared.

[Firearms Proficiency has been enhanced to Level 20, choose a new branch ability or enhance the existing branch ability.]

Su Xiao chose to enhance the existing branch ability, compared to pistols or automatic rifles, he used sniper rifles more, as the Blade Aura was becoming more proficient, pistols for mid-range were gradually replaced.

Uncertain if Firearms Proficiency could continue to upgrade, Su Xiao decided to try, Firearms Proficiency was still upgradable.

[To enhance ’Firearms Proficiency Level 20 (Passive)’ requires spending 5000 Paradise coins, pay yes/no.]

Paradise coins caused some hesitation, thus far, he had invested 140,000 Paradise coins in firearms.

These investments were worthwhile because he intended to elevate his firearms knowledge to its peak in one go, future resources would not be inclined towards firearms knowledge.

At the very least it had to reach the point of hitting wherever aimed, not aiming after shooting, roaming in Reincarnation Paradise for so long, no progress would be shameful.

Choosing to continue upgrading, Paradise coins flowed away like water.

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has been enhanced to Level 21.]

...

Two hours later, a slightly dizzy Su Xiao, after absorbing too much knowledge, chose to continue enhancing Firearms Proficiency (Passive).

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has been enhanced to Level 30!]

[Firearms Proficiency (Passive) has reached full level, choose a new branch ability or enhance the existing branch ability.]

”Enhance the existing.”

Su Xiao gently rubbed his forehead, with his high Intelligence Attribute, the aftermath of skill upgrading was quickly dissipating.

Upgrading various abilities in Reincarnation Paradise all had side effects, for example upgrading Firearms Proficiency (Passive) caused headaches, upgrading Sword Technique Master caused fatigue.

This was normal, abilities did not materialize from nothing, Su Xiao paid Paradise coins or other costs, Reincarnation Paradise accelerated the speed at which he mastered abilities, it was an equivalent exchange, not something gained from nothing.

Enhancing firearm-related abilities consumed a total of 190,000 Paradise coins.

The expense was not insignificant, but it was worth it; complete level 30 Firearms Proficiency would remain useful even in the high tier.

[Firearms Proficiency:Level 30.（Passive）]

Skill Effect: Increases firearm weapon attack power by 42% (not enhancing the original damage of firearms, such as Weakness Strike, ballistic prediction, etc.), and significantly increases proficiency in using various firearms.

Branch ability: Hawk-eye (enhanced 2 times)

Hawk-eye: Accurate prediction of bullet flight trajectory and impact point, external factors like wind speed, air humidity, etc., cannot interfere with you at all, with a sniper rifle in hand, you are the king.

...

Su Xiao sighed inwardly after checking the attributes of Firearms Proficiency, the gap between proficient level abilities and master-level abilities was vast.

Black and White Guns appeared in his hands, Su Xiao first observed these two guns, a few seconds later he started to move.

Click, click, click...

His hands almost became blurred shadows, in an instant the two pistols were disassembled into numerous parts, with a flick of his fingers, moments later, the two guns were reassembled.

If it were before mastering Firearms Proficiency, he would never dare attempt this, the Black and White Guns were too precise, disassembling them could easily result in an inability to reassemble them, much like that high-tech tablet.

Aiming down the sights, Su Xiao had a feeling that hitting moving targets within two hundred meters was absolutely no problem; even if the enemy was moving quickly, he could predict the bullet’s flight path and point of impact.

Taking out the Spider Queen, a familiar feeling arose, after examining the Spider Queen’s condition, his brows furrowed.

Previously he was unfamiliar with firearms, thus after use, neglecting maintenance, it now seemed that behavior was quite reckless.

If it continued this way, the lifespan of the Spider Queen wouldn’t exceed two Derivative Worlds, with some luck it would become discarded, with bad luck it could even misfire.

The over one meter-long Spider Queen was dissembled, he began to maintain the gun.

Ten minutes later, the Spider Queen was reassembled, pulling the bolt, the sound was crisp, no longer the somewhat muffled sound from before.

Upon completing the firearms ability upgrade and in the Skill Upgrading Warehouse, there’s no worry of being disturbed, he intended to enhance Sword Technique Master as well.

A total of twenty Soul Crystals (Medium) appeared in his hands, it looked like a lot, but in reality it could only raise Sword Technique Master by two levels.

[To enhance ’Sword Technique Master Level 21 (Passive)’ requires payment of 50000 Paradise coins + Soul Crystal (Medium) ×10, pay yes/no.]

Compared to the expenses of Sword Technique Master, enhancing Firearms Proficiency’s cost was merely a drizzle.

The cost for raising one level of Sword Technique Master was enough to purchase a scroll for Firearms Proficiency+ and elevate it to the full level, not to mention that Soul Crystals (Medium) had a price but no market.
