Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 542: Chapter 542: Drink First, Then You May See Her

The maid met her gaze, and Emily said again, ”I am a Freyne national. In our country, marital affairs are allowed, aren’t they? Love is free!”

”But he is not a Freyne. He loves his wife dearly, and they have a pair of adorable children.”

”I told you I don’t care, don’t you understand?” Emily’s expression changed; she put away her smile, stubbornly emphasizing, ”Since he can come to me, I will find a way to keep him!”

After speaking, her smile returned to the corners of her lips.

A Maserati drove toward them...

”Did she clearly state that I must go to the estate to meet her?” Justin Kingston leaned back in his chair, elegantly crossing his legs, ”Couldn’t arrange for her to come out?”

The subordinate replied respectfully, ”We originally planned to meet at the club, but she said it was inconvenient, her tone was a bit cold, so I thought... better to meet first and talk later.”

”Hmm.” Justin Kingston didn’t say much more.

But he felt going to the estate was inconvenient, after all, it was her private residence.

Justin Kingston also considered that if the media caught wind, it would cause some unnecessary trouble.

He would quickly find out who the owner of the Jade Pendant was, and then see how to help Mia fulfill her wish.

Soon, the Maserati drove into the estate, lined on both sides of the winding asphalt road were various fruit trees, with green branches and leaves looking particularly attractive.

The car drove on and finally stopped in front of a beautiful villa.

Justin and his entourage got out of the car, the garden’s scenery was uniquely beautiful, and even the air felt particularly fresh, yet he had no heart to admire it.

At the villa entrance, someone was there to greet them, and the three men stepped forward.

”Hello, Mr. Kingston.”

”Hello.”

Justin walked into the living room but did not see the young lady.

They were treated with a lavish welcome, with several glasses of different flavored fruit wine placed on the coffee table.

The maid told him, ”Miss said, ’Please, Mr. Kingston, taste the fruit wine. Meet after drinking these wines.’

Justin looked at the coffee table. Although each glass wasn’t much, there were seven or eight of them, each filled with different colors in small delicate glasses, full of youthful sentiment.

”Is she home?” Justin inquired.

The maid replied, ”She is upstairs.”

That’s good, Justin sat down on the sofa.

He picked up the nearest glass, carefully observing it; the liquid was transparent, without suspended particles or sediment. Bringing it to his nose, he detected the fragrance of the fruit ingredient and an ester aroma.

Two subordinates were inexplicably worried for him, ”CEO Kingston...”

But Justin knew, meeting her was easy; getting her to say or give anything was difficult.

Justin drank it all in one go, it was sweet and sour, refreshing, mellow and smooth, without bitterness.

”Mr. Kingston, these are all naturally fermented juices from wild fruits. Each glass is a still wine, which is my young lady’s favorite. She hopes Mr. Kingston will also try it.”

”Hmm.” Justin picked up another glass of grape wine and finished it in one go.

The blueberry wine and apple wine also tasted good, and he also drank the mulberry wine and bayberry wine.

He drank the last glass and put down the last empty wine glass.

”Since the wine is finished, can you ask the young lady to come down?” Justin raised his eyes, his handsome face exuding noble elegance, captivating.

At this moment, the butler spoke in English, ”Miss cannot come downstairs.”

Justin lightly frowned and asked in English, ”Why?”

”The young lady injured her foot and can only rest in bed,” the butler said calmly. ”Miss hasn’t seen guests for two months; she was willing to meet Mr. Kingston because your reputation precedes you, and Miss greatly admires you.”

Why was he not informed of this situation?

Justin looked at his two subordinates beside him, who also seemed unaware.

There was a few seconds of silence in the living room.

After a while, the maid said, ”If Mr. Kingston wishes to see Miss Emily, please follow me upstairs?”

Justin stood up, his absolute height advantage giving a breathtaking feeling.

He followed the maid towards the beautiful spiral staircase, his two subordinates following behind, but the butler extended a hand to stop them, ”Sorry, only Mr. Kingston is allowed upstairs.”
