Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 514: Chapter 514: Deliberately Asking in Front of Mother

”What are you afraid of? The kid’s old enough to buy soy sauce, everybody knows that, don’t they?” Justin Kingston said, looking secretly pleased.

Just as Mia Lane was utterly stunned, he suddenly quickened his pace and pulled her into the living room!

”Have you had breakfast?” Kristina Kingston asked happily.

”Yes, we have, Mom.” Justin’s voice was gentle.

”...” Mia felt incredibly awkward.

Kristina Kingston stopped in front of her son and daughter-in-law, frowning in confusion, ”What happened to your face?” She noticed a small red blotch on his face.

At this moment, someone in the living room was covering their mouth to stifle laughter, each person throwing Mia envious glances, Mrs. Kingston really has good fortune.

Mia’s cheeks reddened, ”Mom...” she greeted, using a smile to cover her embarrassment.

Kristina suddenly understood something, looking at her son, then at her daughter-in-law, ”A kiss?”

The more she looked, the more it seemed to be the case. Lip mark!

So, she showed a gentle and kind smile, ”When are you going to have the third child?”

Faced with her mother-in-law’s warm smile, Mia was astounded. This mother and son are really in sync, aren’t they?

She glanced sideways at the man beside her, leaving this sensitive question for him to answer, right?

But Justin chose to smile without answering, he looked towards the not far off three rows of long clothes racks, ”Have you picked a gown yet?”

”Mia has a good eye.” Kristina also smoothly changed the topic, ”I want her to give me some advice, I’ve got my eye on three options.”

Mia stepped forward and took her arm, ”Which three options? You should try them all on, along with the styling, show us, and we can use a scoring method to decide, since these people are quite professional.”

”Okay.” Kristina was very happy too.

Such a grand charity event, the first public appearance in years, Kristina hopes to attend dressed elegantly and leave a good impression on the public.

Mia patiently accompanied her to try on dresses, one of which she designed.

With Mary helping to zip up, straighten the skirt, wear accessories, and even take photos for her...

Then along with the stylist and makeup artist they gave references.

Finally picked a deep blue gown, Justin also felt this one fits best, and this piece was indeed Mia’s creation.

Mia picked her own dress, which perfectly matched her mother-in-law’s, essentially making it a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law style.

After confirming the styling, the staff left, leaving these two dresses behind.

Then their family sat on the sofa, sipping tea and chatting.

Before Justin left, he asked in front of his mother, ”Darling, has the dubbing for Anton Ford’s film ended?”

”Yes, the director has reviewed it,” she replied, ”It’s completely fine, no need to go back again.”

Justin then asked, ”Then shouldn’t you fulfill your promise and start working at the company?”

Mia didn’t expect him to bring it up in front of her mother-in-law, she was stunned for a moment, unable to know how to respond.

At this moment, Kristina spoke up, ”You’re still young, getting into the workplace can help you make some friends, since Justin needs you, why not go?”

Mia was a bit surprised that she was actually urging her to go?

That’s the position of Vice President of the company! High-ranking and powerful, it’s the core of the company, where you’d deal with company secrets!

”Mia, go, go.” Kristina knew where her hesitation came from, so she said, ”I really hope you can go help him, I wouldn’t be comfortable leaving it to someone else.”

That shows that the mother completely approves of the wife.

Justin no longer had any worries.

But Mia didn’t immediately agree, ”I’ll consider it, I’ll definitely keep your suggestion in my mind.”
