Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 291: Chapter 291: Taking the Initiative to Invite Mommy

Ms. Tancred noticed the lilies on the coffee table, ”Would you like me to arrange these in a vase for you?”

”Thank you for your effort.” Mia Lane’s lips parted gently.

Does this mean she agreed?

Ms. Tancred was quite delighted, ”It’s no trouble at all.” She quickly took the lilies and left.

If Anton Miller sees the flowers arranged in a vase, he would definitely be pleased, and it can be said that Miss Lane arranged them.

The conflict between the two will surely ease up a bit.

About half an hour passed... the phone rang.

Mia Lane took out her phone and looked at the display, she was stunned for a moment, then quickly answered the call.

As expected, Gigi’s voice came through, ”Mommy! You have visitation rights every week, tomorrow is Saturday, this week only has two days left, so are you coming tomorrow or the day after?”

The little boy’s voice was full of anticipation!

Mia Lane felt extremely warm hearing her son’s voice, ”Did you miss Mommy?”

”Of course!” Gigi confessed, ”I miss you very, very much! You don’t need to bring any gifts, just come yourself, when are you coming?”

Mia Lane thought for a moment, ”Tomorrow?”

”Great! Come over for breakfast tomorrow, okay?” Gigi said with a smile, ”That way we can spend more time together!”

”...All right.” She felt heavy-hearted, feeling very guilty towards her child.

”Then Mommy, get busy now!” Gigi happily hung up the call.

Holding the phone, Mia Lane gradually lost herself in thought.

In the Northern European-style living room at Emerald Cove.

Justin Kingston sat on the sofa opposite the children, and when interacting with them, there was always a gentle look in his deep-set eyes.

The call just now was one Gigi wanted to make himself, he was merely listening in.

”Daddy!” Gigi stood on the sofa, his big black eyes sparkling, as if they could speak, ”Can we take a family photo tomorrow? The four of us haven’t been in the same frame yet!”

At this moment, Dolly’s soft and gentle voice chimed in, ”That’s right, there’s also a photo board at school that needs a family picture by next Monday.”

”The teacher already sent it in the parent group, didn’t you see it?” Gigi was anxious that he might oppose.

Justin Kingston smiled warmly, ”I saw it.”

”Then let’s take it! Since Mommy’s coming tomorrow, we can complete the assignment given by the teacher together!” The little one was quick to shirk responsibility, using the teacher as an excuse, so Mia Lane wouldn’t refuse!

Justin Kingston wasn’t opposed to the idea.

”Daddy, there’s a pretty good photo studio nearby, the teacher said last year’s students all went there, and if we mention our class number, we can get a discount!”

”Going to a photo studio sounds great, after all, they’re professionals, and since it’s our first photo, it has to be taken well!” Dolly also chimed in, ”I want to go to the photo studio!”

In fact, the little thoughts in the children’s minds, Justin Kingston could clearly see through them.

Brother and sister were obviously coordinating their efforts, clearly having discussed it beforehand!

Justin Kingston didn’t object because he had a complex feeling towards Mia Lane.

Sometimes he felt very frustrated, angry that even though he lost his memory, he couldn’t completely forget her, as if she had seeped into his very bones.

Thinking of her being with Anton Ford, especially leaving with him outside the emergency room, the once-proud Justin Kingston felt hurt and very angry.

In this world, probably no other woman would treat him like that.

”Daddy! We’re going to cook tomato and egg noodles for you!” Gigi said excitedly, quickly putting on his shoes.

”Let’s do it together.” Justin Kingston stood up too.

Then he took his sister’s hand and led his brother toward the kitchen.

Mr. Kingston cooking personally??

This made Butler Shelby and Ms. Zhou stunned, ever since the children moved in, many of his principles had been broken.

Nighttime.

In the boisterous bar with music playing loudly, full of neon lights and shadows.

Anton Miller sat alone at the bar, with a dedicated bartender mixing cocktails for him, he had already had five drinks.
