Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 264: Chapter 264: Are You Threatening Me?

”Anton, I...” Mia Lane didn’t know how to explain, clasping her hands together, ”I just didn’t know how to refuse.”

”And when you begged me to donate blood for Justin Kingston? What did you promise?” Anton Miller looked at her coldly, ”What did you promise last night?”

”...” She felt guilty.

”I almost lost my life to save him too! You can’t be unaware of that, right?” Anton Miller’s gaze was like a searchlight shining on her, tinged with a bit of anger, ”I just confessed my feelings to you, and you’re planning to leave without a word?”

”I don’t know how to face you.” She felt very guilty, ”I can’t give you anything.”

”So you choose not to face it, is that it?” He was angry.

”Anton, I’m very grateful to you...”

”Don’t bother with the gratitude.” The man furrowed his brows slightly, ”I won’t force you, but don’t I have the right to pursue you as well? We’re both single.”

”...” She didn’t know how to respond.

”You and Justin Kingston are over, you saw the news, right?” He smirked, deliberately provoking, ”He’s going to marry Monica Usher, and he’s prepared a grand wedding for her.”

She remained silent, feeling a bit sad inside.

”If you leave, where could you go?” He scrutinized her, ”Leave Riventhal? Never see Gigi and Dolly again?”

That statement stabbed deeply into her heart.

Anton Miller put away the coldness in his eyes and sighed before speaking seriously, ”Stay. We can interact like we did before, as if nothing happened, and I’ll arrange for you to see Gigi and Dolly regularly.”

Something flickered in the woman’s eyes.

”I just like you, and I would never force you,” Anton Miller said sincerely, ”I was drunk last night and didn’t do anything to you, so you can trust my character.”

”How will you arrange for us to meet?” She was concerned about this.

”Don’t just leave abruptly,” he said, ”I’ll figure this out, how are you with their house servants?”

Butler Shelby and Mrs. Zhou?

They get along quite well.

Anton Miller said, ”We can start with them, Justin Kingston can’t be at home 24/7, right? He has to go to the office.”

Mia Lane hadn’t seen the children for several months, and although she didn’t worry about them, she missed them dearly.

”Anyway, leave it to me, I’ll arrange it as soon as possible,” Anton Miller smiled slightly, ”If you leave without a word, I’ll make sure Justin Kingston’s life is in chaos.”

Mia Lane’s breath hitched as she focused on him, seeing a slight coldness in his smile.

”The car accident hasn’t been reported in the news, and no one outside knows about the memory loss.” Anton Miller revealed a slight smirk, ”If such news were exposed, it would likely cause a stir in the financial world, wouldn’t it?”

”Anton Miller, do you know what you’re saying?” Although she sat there calmly, her eyes were cool, ”Don’t threaten me; I’m not an ordinary woman.”

”This isn’t a threat, I’m simply reminding you to stay by my side,” he replied nonchalantly, ”Is it wrong to want to keep the person you like?”

”...”

After a while, he stood up, ”Alright, I have a film shoot today, do as you please.”

Watching his departing back, Mia Lane sat on the sofa, sparks of anger flickering in her eyes.

Two hours later, Ms. Tancred came in again.

Seeing her still sitting in the same spot, she felt heartache, ”Miss Lane, why don’t you go down for breakfast?”

”How did he know I was planning to leave?” Mia Lane looked up at her, ”Did he sit outside all night?”

”Yes.” Ms. Tancred nodded, advising, ”Please don’t leave, even for Mr. Kingston. Anton isn’t afraid of anything and would truly announce Mr. Kingston’s memory loss issue.”
