Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 261: Chapter 261: Anton Miller’s Confession

Mia Lane’s slender body bounced slightly on the soft large bed. She propped herself up and looked at him.

Anton Miller’s gloomy eyes were full of heartache. He had drunk a lot, appearing very intoxicated, but he was extremely clear-minded inside.

”Let’s start a relationship.” He finally said after holding it back for so long, ”Mia Lane, be my girlfriend!” He felt completely relieved.

Mia Lane was very surprised.

Anton Miller put his hands on his hips and took a deep breath, waiting for her answer.

”I admit I agreed to give blood for Justin Kingston and forced you to be my woman originally to provoke him because I thought he wouldn’t die.”

”When he wakes up and sees his beloved woman taken by me, the angrier he is, the happier I will be.”

”I want to be with you, and it’s not because he lost his memory.”

”But now... I clearly realize, after these three months of being together, I’ve hopelessly fallen in love with you.”

”I want to be with you, to spend the rest of my life with you. I’ve been so careful when interacting with you, but your indifference hurts me.”

Mia Lane stood up, feeling a bit dizzy. ”Anton Ford, you’re drunk. What nonsense are you speaking?”

”I’m not talking nonsense.” The man frowned at her, ”I’m very sober. I went to the company to see Monica Usher today!”

The woman was stunned, something flashed in her eyes!

”I slapped her!” Anton Miller smiled, ”I warned her not to touch you again!”

Mia Lane was shocked; he actually hit Monica Usher?

”Since I came back yesterday, I’ve been very angry, angry for not being able to protect you!” Anton Miller was somewhat upset, ”I feel sad for hitting her, but I don’t regret it.”

”...” Mia Lane was dazed; he was too impulsive.

Anton Miller took two steps forward and hugged her tightly!

Like a child, he lightly placed his chin on her shoulder, ”Let’s be together, I promise no one will bully you anymore.”

She struggled, but he clung to her like a rock, stubbornly holding her.

”I like you, maybe it started from the first time I saw you...” Memories flashed back, the scene so clear, ”You appeared at the police station with a cotton candy and him, your pure aura deeply attracted me.”

”Anton Ford, stop talking, you need to rest, you’re drunk.”

”No, listen to me. Although I don’t have Justin Kingston’s wealth, I’m not poor. I have a net worth of billions, it’s no problem to take care of you!”

”Anton Ford!”

”Mia Lane, think it over carefully!”

”Anton Ford.” In such a drunken state, heavy with the smell of alcohol, Mia Lane felt a bit dizzy. ”We’ll talk tomorrow, you should rest well. I won’t discuss relationship matters when you’re drunk. How about I ask Ms. Tancred to prepare you some sobering tea?”

”If you don’t agree, I won’t let go.” Like a child, he began to act spoiled, ”You’ve already promised to be my woman, have you forgotten?”

”I haven’t forgotten, we’ll talk tomorrow! I’ll give you an answer tomorrow, okay?” Mia Lane was concerned about his health, ”We’re both not sober right now, let’s talk in the morning, is that okay?”

She was willing to talk to him, which was a good start.

Anton Miller nodded, reluctantly releasing her, ”Then... see you tomorrow.” He was indeed tired, in a bad mood, and had drunk a lot.

He turned around, lay on the bed, and instantly fell asleep, even starting to snore.

Mia Lane looked at him, let out a long sigh, then turned and pulled open the door.

Ms. Tancred stood outside, anxiously at a loss, ”Miss Lane! Are you okay?”

”I’m fine, could you please prepare some sobering tea for him?”

”Okay!” Ms. Tancred turned and hurried downstairs.

Mia Lane returned to her bedroom. She went to the faucet, turned it on, and splashed a few handfuls of water on her face, trying to clear her mind.

Looking at herself in the mirror, she rubbed her temples.
