Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 265: Chapter 265: Are You Fighting Over the Kids?

”So childish!” Mia Lane couldn’t help but curse softly.

Ms. Tancred looked uneasy, ”Why don’t we go have breakfast?”

She stood up and went downstairs, already knowing the answer in her heart.

Today’s online news was all about Justin Kingston and Monica Usher’s grand wedding next month on the 18th.

Everywhere was filled with opinions, the noise rising above it all, topping the hot search on Weibo, causing the server to crash at one point.

Mia Lane’s phone naturally received many related notifications, but she didn’t click to see them and simply blocked them from the notification bar.

Saying she’s not upset or jealous would be a lie; after all, she still loves him.

He has amnesia, his life has restarted.

After breakfast, the car drove to Enlighten Kindergarten, Mia Lane sat in the back seat, turning to look out the window; today she intended to take the children away.

Previously choosing to leave them there was because Justin Kingston hadn’t lost his memory.

But now?

A father with amnesia, a stepmother who doesn’t like them, surely the children’s days are hard.

So Mia Lane decided to raise them herself.

Ten minutes later, at the kindergarten entrance, Mia Lane met Teacher Mei, ”I’d like to ask for leave for Gigi and Dolly, take them to get vaccinated.”

”The kids took a long leave, didn’t you know?” The young female teacher looked her up and down, couldn’t help but gossip, ”Did you divorce CEO Kingston? Fighting for custody of the kids?”

Mia Lane was speechless towards this type of question.

Long leave??

”Sorry for disturbing you.” She turned and quickly left, her heart filled with disbelief.

The children took long leave? Are they not going to school?

The Kingston Group, a series of skyscrapers towering into the clouds.

In the spacious and simple vice president’s office, Monica Usher still dressed sweetly today, the slightly curled hair ends showing off her charm; she had it specially done at the salon after work yesterday.

”President Usher, women getting married really are different, because immersed in happiness, more beautiful day by day.” Barbara Sutton couldn’t help but exclaim, ”Your looks are at their peak right now! Full of femininity, sexy and charming, with a hint of innocence.”

Monica Usher took the coffee cup from her hand, beaming, ”You have a good eye!”

”By the way, President Usher, when are you going to try on the wedding dress?”

”In the next few days, it’s almost done.” Monica Usher was more eager than anyone, ”Tomorrow I’m going with CEO Kingston to discuss a project.”

”Is it the collaboration with Aegis Group?” Barbara Sutton guessed right away, ”Special Assistant Morgan is also preparing to accompany, one more person increases the odds, it’s said many Jeo executives will be going.”

Monica Usher laughed, ”It’s not like we’re going to war, I’m just accompanying CEO Kingston.” It also counts as publicly showing her position as Mrs. Kingston.

”You haven’t even had the wedding yet and you’re accompanying him? If you get married, would you be running around with him every day?” Barbara Sutton teased joyfully.

”During work hours, where’s your mind? Hurry up and deal with the emails!”

”Yes, President Usher!”

The news rehashed again because photos from the wedding site leaked out.

Since it’s a grand wedding, it drew much attention.

Countless employees in the company were discussing this wedding during their work breaks, each with their own viewpoints.

”Did CEO Kingston get divorced?”

”Why suddenly marry President Usher? What happened to the previous Mrs. Kingston?”

”What about those two kids? Are they staying with their dad or mom?”

”Matters of high society aren’t something we common folks can understand, it just proves men’s hearts are hard to hold onto!”

”They say the wedding has been planned for months, how could it be prepared for President Usher?”

”Yeah, CEO Kingston and the lady had a proposal scene at the Aethelburg castle estate, shooting a promo for Alice.”

”I think it’s strange too, this wedding seems clearly meant for the children’s mom.”

Not far from the corner, Justin Kingston was standing there, hands in his pockets, listening to this conversation, a cold light flickering in his eyes.

The elevator door opened, he stepped in, and the door closed again.

Proposal at the castle estate?

Aethelburg?

Alice promo?

He pulled out his phone to search, but found nothing, as if traces had been deliberately erased.
