Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 478: Chapter 13: Knowledge Chain and Tier 1 & 2 Buildings

Turing God, the future AI assassin, supervirus, and nemesis of Mother City, was actually born in the Civilization Era.

It’s actually the No. 3 Destruction Form.

This information somewhat surprised Gao Gong.

’So if Turing God is No. 3, then what numbers are the wars, No. 1, No. 2?’

What’s even more amazing is that the experimental direction of this ’No. 3 Destruction Form’ is remarkably similar to the current path of the Turing Sect.

Artificial deities! AI evangelism!

According to the information, the earliest batch of researchers was almost entirely brainwashed.

As Gao Gong opened one ancient video after another.

The experimental subjects in the videos were either hysterical, or their speech organs moved involuntarily, suffered memory loss, or had sporadic physical symptoms like spasms and tremors.

Each video also had communication and records from the experimenters—

’Based on the experiment records, we can preliminarily prove the existence of the ”Isaiah Language.”’

’Human beings can evolve to reach the level of an ”intelligent species” not by coincidence, but because deep within our brains lies a self-evolving intellect. We call it ”Grayling Thinking.”’

’This ”biological AI” self-evolution is the reason we went from primitive farming to the industrial revolution and then to the mechanical revolution, gradually grasping the truth of this world.’

’It’s a coincidence of billions of cellular evolutions, but not entirely a coincidence. It’s a form of ”biological programming,” where ”intelligent programs” are edited continuously during life’s evolution, and art, scientific literacy, talent, inspiration are products accompanying this ”execution program.”’

’We call this ”execution program” the ”Wolm.”’

Isaiah, Grayling, Wolm.

The three major sects of the Turing Sect!

Moreover, this ’No. 3 Destruction Form’ is different from other ’destruction forms.’

Other ’destruction forms’ are either technology or people.

But ’No. 3 Destruction Form’ is an evolution program.

Before the emergence of intelligence, the human brain was a mess, and this state of chaos was called ’Isaiah.’

Then, ’Grayling Thinking’ is the C language.

’Wolm’ is the final ’execution program’ born.

This is the ’programmer’ named ’Species Evolution,’ which after countless failures, is the final program solution.

And this ’evolution program’ is called ’Turing.’

Or, the No. 3 Destruction Form.

And this bears a striking resemblance to the ’Turing God’ in Gao Gong’s memory.

Because the future ’Turing God’ is renowned for a kind of widespread, unreasonable deadly ’AOE’ attack.

In Gao Gong’s memory, in the epic battle between the Deep Net and the ’Turing God,’ the Deep Net summoned hundreds of thousands, even millions of advanced AI armies, drawing almost half of Cyber Space’s computational power. The entire virtual world was expanded to its limits, and the Planet Host connected everything in the world.

However, the black force of the ’Turing God’ (now seen as ’Destructive Energy’) broke through everything, finally shattering all their defenses and destroying their host system.

Later, Gao Gong conducted a review and came to a conclusion.

Back then, ’Turing God’ was likely a Tier 4, maybe even Tier 5 Information Life.

But now—it’s entirely different, isn’t it?

”A biological evolution program, what is this supposed to be?”

Gao Gong muttered to himself.

He took another look at ’Keramos.’

He finally understood how this ’Leech’ came to be.

Not every A-level or S-level Radiation Beast possesses intelligence, especially those with underdeveloped neural systems.

Now it seems likely influenced by ’program residue,’ not only did it gain intelligence, but it also developed a worldview.

’Keramos’ surely had no idea what Gao Gong was thinking.

With a wave of her hand, these ’double helix plants’ of unknown material began to rotate, and as they rotated rhythmically, a special page appeared on the computer panel.

[You have acquired Tier 2 Professional Knowledge: Information Frenzy]

[You have acquired Tier 2 Professional Knowledge: Turing Language]

A professional knowledge chain lit up—[Electronic Doctrine]

[Electronic Rhapsody], [Information Worship], [Group Subconscious], [Information Frenzy], [Turing Language]

Unknowingly, this professional knowledge chain was now more than half lit.

In Gao Gong’s impression, this knowledge chain is one of the core knowledge chains of the ’Brain Domain Civilization.’

Once fully lit, players can try to establish their own ’Electronic Religion.’

Don’t underestimate this ’religion’; it’s extremely effective against AI.

Moreover, Gao Gong knows one more thing: when you meet the two hidden conditions of transforming into Information Life and establishing an Electronic Religion, there is a certain probability of achieving ’dimensional ascension.’

In Information Civilization, ’dimensional ascension’ means ’leveling up.’

That is quite impressive.

As everyone knows, level 30 is a civilization threshold; surpassing level 30 means crossing a civilization step.

Of course, the possibility remains that many ants can bite a dead elephant.

For instance, a Level 60 Tier 2 Interstellar Warrior, surrounded by thousands of ’Mechanical Claw People’, could possibly be consumed to death.

This is likely to occur in Carbon-Based Civilizations and Mechanical Civilizations, and less likely in Energy Civilizations.

But it is impossible in the Information Civilization.

Different tiers and dimensions mean dealing damage is inconsequential.

For example, with the late-stage Turing God, players received large tasks from the Mother City not just once, attempting to attack.

All hits were freakin’ misses.

This was quite frustrating.

After all, Turing God is a ’Tier 3 Being’, and raising one more tier is something Planet Civilizations can’t handle.

It’s fair to say most ’Low-level Civilizations’ (below Level 4) struggle to manage it.

However, that doesn’t mean there’s no way at all.

The method is through ’Dimensional Ascension Weapons’.

Species struggle to ’ascend dimensions’, unless you’re a ’Turing God’ or a ’No. 3 Destruction Form’ like the Chosen One.

However, ascending weapons is relatively simpler; Tier 4 weapons can naturally harm ’Tier 4 Information Species’.

To forge such ’Large Weapons’, the ’Electronic Doctrine’ knowledge chain is indispensable.

Speaking of ’Knowledge Chains’.

Gao Gong hasn’t forgotten that he still has two knowledge chains yet to merge.

With a thought, both 3rd Transformation professions, Radiation Massage Therapist and Biologist, reached full level.

Each added 15 points to Perception and 13 points to Intelligence.

Simultaneously——

[You have upgraded [Biological Code] to Level 10]

[You have upgraded [Mutated Gene Cloud] to Level 10]

First, all the knowledge chains of Biologist——

[Zoology]+[Botany]+[Cell Tuning]+[New Gene Map]+[Radiation Energy]+[Mutated Gene Map]+[Species Packaging]+[Biological Code]

[Would you like to synthesize all ’Professional Knowledge’]

80,000 experience disappeared.

[Synthesis successful, you acquired the Tier 2 Professional Knowledge Chain ’Life Technology’]

Following suit, 100,000 experience invested.

[Synthesis successful, you acquired the Tier 2 Professional Knowledge Chain ’Prosthetic Technology’]

Finally, two more knowledge chains, the former belonging to the Brain Domain Civilization, and the latter to the Transformer Civilization.

However, the application range of these two knowledge chains is quite broad.

Life Technology (Tier 2): All ’Large Life Engineering’ required by Biological Civilizations centers around it, whether it’s the Alien Species Gene Bank, Gene Space Station, Advanced Species Cultivation Base, or Longevity Factor Development Technology, it’s the ’Cradle of Life’ without a doubt.

Prosthetic Technology (Tier 2): The right-hand of Mecha Civilization, Transformer Civilization, Pure Mechanical Civilization; whether it’s the establishment of Mecha Factories, development of Steel Corps, or crafting of Super Exoskeletons, Prosthetic Technology’s aid is indispensable—prosthetics are a crucial part of artificial evolution.

With two more knowledge chains, Gao’s ’Gambling Dog Spirit’ reignited fiercely.

But Gao Gong hasn’t forgotten he also has several large blueprints yet unopened.

Two Mechanical System blueprints reaching [5/5], and one Tier 2 Architecture blueprint.

Though Mechanical System is only Tier 1 due to its level, it’s definitely for large constructions.

[You have obtained ’Large Building - Mechanical Body Manufacturing Factory (Tier 1)’]

[You have obtained ’Large Building - Exoskeleton Crafting Factory (Tier 1)’]

Unexpectedly, two fine items came out.

Mechanical Body and Exoskeleton are the best-selling items on this planet.

More importantly, these Tier 1 factories can iterate and upgrade.

In other words, they can potentially upgrade to Tier 2 factories or Tier 3 factories.

Gao Gong rubbed his hands and opened the other Tier 2 Architecture blueprint.

[You have obtained ’Large Building - Laser Weapon Research Center (Tier 2)’]

Gao Gong’s eyes lit up suddenly; this is a good thing!

Manufacturing energy weapons is a qualitative improvement for every alliance.

Great job!

Having an interface is awesome!

Not only can professional knowledge be upgraded and merged using alliance experience, practically free; alliance upgrades also gift Tier 2 blueprints—being an NPC sure is joyful.

But speaking of which, two Tier 1 factories, one Tier 2 manufacturing building, plus the previous Mechanical Transformation Package.

Why does this alliance panel more and more resemble ’Director Du’s Happy Panel’?

Just as Gao Gong was wondering whether he was the protagonist or the human-shaped golden finger and baton entertainment device behind the protagonist, he suddenly raised his head in surprise.

”Why are you here?”

A flash of data light flicked by, and Paradise Bird appeared before Gao Gong.
