Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 459: Chapter 2: Rise of the Mutant Species

[You have killed an A-level Radiation Beast - Ancient Sea Serpent, Experience +300,000, Specialization +10, Blueprint *10, Sea Area Reputation +4000]

[You have obtained the title of Sea Serpent Slayer]

The commotion in this sea area finally settled down. One or two ancient sea serpents as thick as water tanks stuck their heads out. These Level 40 monsters generally have a blood volume of about 200,000, so although they were affected by the aftershock, they did not perish.

In fact, as long as it’s an A-level Radiation Beast, it’s impossible not to have followers, it’s just a matter of numbers.

At this moment, these sea serpents swam towards the center of the explosion one by one. Although the A-level sea serpent was quite violent and not good to them, the genetic suppression from instinct forced them to obey.

When they reached the center of the explosion, these sea serpents were shocked to find that their king, the revered Ancient Snake King, was lying wounded at the seabed, with only part of its body trembling unconsciously.

On its serpent head, a strange human figure stood, with the left hand transformed into a transparent tentacle, covering the opponent’s surface, constantly absorbing its flesh and blood.

”Hiss~ hiss hiss~~”

The ancient serpents immediately let out fierce screams.

The Regicide looked up and murmured, ”A bunch of B-level snakes, huh.”

The next moment, Gao Gong squinted his eyes, and when they opened again, they had transformed into snake pupils. A familiar, brutal, dark aura swept the surroundings as if an ’A-level Sea Serpent’ was reborn.

Under the genetic suppression, the former king and the current Regicide fully merged into one.

These ancient sea serpents could no longer hold back and fled with their tails between their legs.

”Get lost.”

Gao Gong glanced once and reverted back to the ’Star Absorption Skill’ mode.

S-Level Talent ’Flesh Fusion’

Flesh Fusion: Any existence at the genetic level can be ’consumed’ by you and then transformed into your own.

He was absorbing the sea serpent’s genes.

...

After diving without a code, Gao Gong was surprised to discover two things.

One, the A-level and below marine species Radiation Beasts are generally 2-3 times stronger than those on land, which is probably due to the terrifying alien energy in the seabed.

Besides radiation energy and nuclear energy, Gao Gong even discovered several special types of energy.

Sixty years ago, the mechanical war turned the entire planet over, and sixty years of radiation had driven enough mutations in the ocean.

The scale of these mutations is so large that it’s almost comparable to various transformed Mechanical Cities.

After all, the Mechanical Split Star, in the end, is still an Ocean Planet.

The second discovery is that the A-level Radiation Beast under the sea is not stronger than those on land; they are somewhat weaker even in combat.

Placing the Ancient Sea Serpent, Mechanical Fortress, Crimson Empress, and Duke of Radiation together, the first to be eliminated is most likely the Ancient Sea Serpent.

So it only gave Gao Gong an A-level talent, not an S-level bloodline.

Snake God’s Eyes: Also known as the Snake God’s Eye of Death, whenever a ship sails across the sea at night, and people on board see the gigantic pale human face floating in the deep sea, strange deaths occur among the crew.

And that’s it.

The higher the level of bloodline, the less the introduction.

However, Gao Gong sensed for a moment and found that this is actually a rare ’Causality Law Weapon’, though a lower version of the ’Causality Law Weapon’.

This thing’s applicable range is for those below Level 25 or with a neural system transformation rate below 10%.

As long as one of the conditions is met, ’instant death’ occurs.

”Fortunately, yours is a low-end version. If it upgraded to Intermediate level, I might have lost a life,” Gao Gong muttered to himself.

Although an individual death would only destroy his organism, Gao still has two lives.

But the most troublesome thing about the ’Causality Law Weapon’ is its unsolvable attack.

With the sensation of fullness building, finally, the ’Flesh Fusion’ settled at agility +8, intelligence +5, endurance +5, neural system transformation rate +5%, digestive system transformation rate +3%, reproductive system transformation rate +2%, and biological energy +5000.

By the way, Gao Gong’s favorability with the serpent species increased by 1000 points.

Hey, who needs such a thing!

Glancing at the attribute bar, Gao Gong fell into deep thought.

Fragment of Ancient Gene (3/6)

Why three? Because before this A-level Sea Serpent, Gao Gong had also taken down two A-level Radiation Beasts.

One was a Mechanical Giant Kun, a particularly large ancient mechanical species with blood volume reaching three million. Gao Gong tussled with it for a day and a night before finally wearing it down.

But regrettably, Flesh Fusion can only merge biological bodies, and Gao Gong spent half a day absorbing before extracting an Ancient Gene.

Serving a Rich Lady was never this laborious.

Another was a large monster looking very Cthulhu-like. It was easier to handle than the Mechanical Giant Kun, but the problem was, it had a typical ’Cthulhu-style’ life form.

When Gao Gong defeated it, its body automatically dissipated. Meanwhile, in the system panel, this creature, with a name comprising hundreds of letters, entered a dormant state.

You coward!!!

Luckily, the flesh scraped off didn’t vanish along with it. After Gao Gong absorbed it to some extent, he gained a small boost in intelligence by +5.

This made Gao Gong realize once more that the seabed is different from the land.
