Chapter 92: Abandoned Monkey and Lucario

”No! Meow!”

Seeing Primeape’s huge fist attacking again, Meowth’s face was filled with terror.

Bang!

The Meowth coin on Meowth’s head was directly knocked into its flesh, and then it flew back again.

Jessie, who was already hyped up, didn’t care about Meowth’s injuries. She picked him up and threw him again: ”Arbok, use Glare! Meowth, Fury Swipes!”

Arbok, who had recovered, straightened its body, revealing the patterns on its abdomen. Primeape’s body stiffened and fell into a paralyzed state.

Jessie shouted at the top of her lungs: ”Meowth, hurry up now!”

Meowth closed its eyes tightly and waved its two front paws wildly.

Hmm... it only scratched a bit of Primeape’s skin. Primeape felt that Meowth was insulting him.

”Monk?”

”Uh, I didn’t mean to, it’s all Jessie’s fault!” Meowth felt Primeape’s angry gaze and shivered, hugging its head with both hands.

Primeape didn’t care that much. It slammed two more punches onto Meowth and Arbok.

After these two punches, a white light covered its entire body. Before yesterday, its Rage Fist had accumulated thirteen times. After being left to roam in the laboratory backyard for one night, it challenged many nearby Pokémon and accumulated three more times. Adding the current four times, the Rage Fist was now fully stacked twenty times.

After the evolution light, a strange monkey with light gray fur all over its body, white hair flowing from the front of its eyebrows and the top of its head, dark gray limbs, and red eyes appeared in front of Team Rocket Trio.

”It... it evolved? Primeape can still evolve further?”

James, who knew more about Pokémon, was dumbfounded.

As far as he knew, Mankey evolved into Primeape, but this strange monkey in front of him was indeed evolved from Primeape. This, this, this...

”An unprecedented Pokémon, this makes it even more valuable to capture. Go, Arbok! Weezing, you don’t care about that yellow dog either, catch this strange monkey. James, where is your Victreebel? Hurry up and call it out!”

Jessie didn’t care about that much. An unknown Pokémon like Annihilape was more valuable. This was much stronger than that yellow little dog.

At this moment, James remembered that he still had a Pokémon, ”Go, Victreebel!”

As soon as Victreebel came out of the Poké Ball, it opened its mouth and bit James’s head.

”Alright, alright, the enemy is over there, let go of me!” James struggled to pull his head out of Victreebel’s mouth.

Victreebel was previously brought back by Ash from the foster care shop run by Cassidy and others. James was very touched when he received this Poké Ball, after all, this Victreebel was once his Pokémon.

However, he had been working in the laboratory ever since and had no chance to command Victreebel to fight, which is why he had been using Weezing at the beginning of this battle.

”Victreebel, use Razor Leaf!”

Victreebel rotated its body, and a large number of leaves spun out rapidly, attacking Annihilape!

”Monk!”

Annihilape used Swift to block.

Without Weezing’s restraint, Riolu also joined the battlefield.

At this time, Ash’s other Pokémon in this battle also noticed, and they all approached this way.

”Olu!”

Riolu used Quick Attack to approach Victreebel. After getting close, it grabbed one of the leaves and performed a magnificent over-the-shoulder throw, making Victreebel dizzy.

”Weezing, use Smokescreen!” James commanded.

However, he soon regretted this move. Smokescreen could indeed obscure the vision for other Pokémon, but for Riolu, who could sense Aura, this smoke was the best cover.

Riolu, using the cover of the smoke, launched a barrage of Eight Extremities Fist attacks on Meowth, Arbok, and Victreebel.

As it fought, Riolu also began to glow with evolution light.

Seeing this scene, Jessie could only say helplessly: ”Damn it, let’s retreat!”

”Pikachu, Pikachu!”

At this moment, a yellow figure carrying lightning rushed from behind Team Rockets.

Zzzzt!

After a burst of electricity, Team Rockets, both people and Pokémon, were electrocuted to the ground: ”Numb... numb!”

”Pika?” (Are you guys okay?)

Pikachu looked at Annihilape and Lucario and asked.

The two Pokémon shook their heads. They had both evolved, and Team Rockets’ Pokémon were low-level, so they weren’t really hurt.

Seeing the two Pokémon shake their heads, Pikachu intended to blast Team Rockets into the sky as usual.

”Monk, monk!”

”Luka luka!”

Annihilape and Lucario quickly stopped him, and then explained everything to Pikachu. After hearing the whole story, Pikachu’s small expression changed several times, and finally, he stood in front of Meowth with a mischievous smile.

”Pikachu, what... what are you going to do?”

Seeing the mischievous smile on Pikachu’s face, Meowth felt extremely flustered.

”Pikachu, Pikachu, Pikachu!” (I heard you are very helpful for special training. I’ll give you a chance to stay and help us with special training!)

”Help you with special training?” Meowth was very confused.

”Pikachu, Pikachu, Pikachu!” (Ash is going to participate in the Indigo Plateau Conference, and we need to help him win the championship. You can be our sparring partners!)

”No... no...”

Zzzzt!

Before Meowth could finish speaking, Pikachu rubbed against Meowth, and a current immediately enveloped Meowth’s entire body.

”We agree, we agree, Meow!”

Meowth, who was electrocuted, cowered.

”Meowth, what the hell are you talking about? What did you agree to again?” Jessie picked up Meowth and asked in a low voice.

”Agreed to help Ash’s Pokémon with special training. They said they want to help Ash win the championship at the Indigo Plateau Conference, and we helped their three partners evolve in these two operations...” Meowth looked troubled.

In the current situation, if they didn’t agree, Pikachu would never let them go. If they agreed, Jessie might explode with anger.

Just as Meowth thought, Jessie immediately exploded: ”What? Why would you agree to such a stupid thing!”

James quickly covered Jessie’s mouth and said, ”Jessie, look around!”

”Uh, we agree to your terms, but you have to pay us wages and work-related injury compensation, otherwise we won’t do it, Meow!”

Meowth put forward its demands.

Pikachu didn’t think much and readily agreed. Anyway, these guys were easy to satisfy, and as long as they could help them improve their strength, Ash would definitely agree.

”Agreement reached. The special training will have to wait until tomorrow. Now, quickly take us to get treated, Meow!” Meowth straightened its back and said self-righteously.

”Pika!” (Follow me!)

Pikachu led the group towards Professor Oak’s Laboratory.

Ash’s other Pokémon also dispersed, but as they left, they all took a deep look at Team Rocket Trio, Annihilape, and Lucario.

They were all calculating how they could be the first to get the special training opportunity from Team Rocket Trio.
