”I’m already a Quasi-Elite Trainer? That’s really fast!”

Looking at the identity information displayed on the system panel, Ash was momentarily lost in thought. How long had he been traveling? It seemed like less than four months, right? (PS: The concept of time in the original work is very confusing; not only is idiot still ten years old after traveling for ’over twenty years’, but just in the original series, the time span between two episodes can be from the Doll Festival in March to Children’s Day in June.)

Had he already achieved a goal that most people couldn’t accomplish in their entire lives?

After a moment of emotion, Ash glanced at the original interface and found no changes, then looked at the interface that had been prompted before the system update.

The new updated section essentially just added a channel for spending points. The items sold in the Points Mall were of higher value, including high-value goods from the Pokemon world, such as randomly refreshed Pokemon eggs with Elite-level or higher potential, legendary Pokemon tokens, legendary Pokemon origin powers, ability-changing potions, etc.; there were also goods from other worlds, such as special talismans similar to bad luck charms, life skills, martial arts moves, various high-tech products, etc.

As for the two types of wishes, they were essentially lotteries, but better than ordinary lotteries. These lotteries guaranteed a prize and would not result in ’thank you for your patronage’ rewards.

However, the cost per draw was a bit high: 100,000 points for a specified wish and 50,000 points for a regular wish.

Looking at his points, which were just over a million, and thinking about the trade he promised Gary, Ash hardened his heart and directly redeemed a specified wish for a super evolution stone.

After carefully studying the prize pool for specified wishes, Ash discovered that it contained the ’Dragon Ascent’ skill, but the drop rate was somewhat concerning at 0.001%. The drop rates for other super evolution stones were also very low.

”I don’t ask for much, just a Blastoise or Scizor one.”

Ash didn’t expect to get one that could be used by a legendary Pokemon; he just needed what he urgently required at the moment.

Gyarados Mega Evolution Stone Shard * 13

Mega Evolution key stone Shard * 3

Mega Evolution key stone Shard * 2

Gengar Mega Evolution Stone Shard * 15

Beedrill Mega Evolution Stone Shard * 1

Alakazam Mega Evolution Stone Shard * 9

Glalie Mega Evolution Stone Shard * 7

Scizor Mega Evolution Stone * 1

Gallade Mega Evolution Stone Shard * 14

Mega Evolution key stone Shard * 4

”Oh wow, System Bro is awesome! What I want, I get! This is great!”

Although nine of them were shards, Ash couldn’t stop smiling when he saw a complete Scizor super evolution stone among the lottery results.

The points lottery wouldn’t result in nothing, but it would give item shards. To redeem a complete item, one needed to collect enough shards. One key stone required one hundred shards to redeem. As for super evolution stones, they were given based on different Pokemon. The cheapest tier, such as Beedrill, Sableye, and Mawile, required 200 shards. A slightly higher tier, like the six First Generation Starters, required 500 shards. Above that, it was 800 to 1000, with the value measured according to the species’ base stats.

Ash saw that the maximum number of shards per single draw was 30, and shards could also be exchanged using points, though it was a bit expensive at 4,000 points per shard. This meant that the cheapest super evolution stone would cost 800,000 points.

After staying on Cinnabar Island for three or four days, Ash and the others embarked on their journey to the Viridian Gym. For various reasons, Gary also temporarily joined Ash’s team.

Since Jigglypuff had been caught by Ash, the group returned to the mainland very smoothly.

”Ash, this is the information you wanted about Lugia, the Guardian of the Sea. It’s hard to imagine that it’s active in the Vermilion City port.” Gary handed Ash an envelope.

This information was obtained by Gary from Professor Sakuragi, Chloe’s father.

”Alright, this is the Scizor Mega Evolution Stone. Your family should be able to get you the key stone. As for the remaining two pieces of information, Gary, you won’t make me wait long, will you?”

Ash handed the Scizor Mega Evolution Stone he had won from the lottery to Gary.

”Don’t worry, consider this one a favor I owe you. I’ve already sent people to collect the information you requested, and I expect results very soon. However, Ash, you’re not actually planning to catch them, are you?” Gary asked.

”You’ll know in the future. Oh, and if it’s about Zapdos and Moltres, I don’t need that information. I need information about others besides them.”

Unless absolutely necessary, Ash did not want to capture the same legendary Pokemon.

”What do you mean? Why don’t you need those two?” Gary became even more confused.

”Well, you can ask Professor Oak when you have time, and you’ll know.”
