Jenny’s efficiency was incredibly fast; she arrived at the scene less than five minutes after Nurse Joy contacted her.

”This feeling is so annoying!”

The Team Rocket Trio, who had been thrown into the police car, were so aggrieved they were almost in tears.

”Officer Jenny, these three Team Rockets members are very strange; I think they’ll try to escape from prison...”

At the last moment, Ash didn’t forget to add to the Team Rocket Trio’s woes.

”I understand.” Jenny nodded seriously.

With that statement, Ash could foresee that the Team Rocket Trio would have an unforgettable night.

In the police car.

Hearing Ash’s kick-them-when-they’re-down voice, the Team Rocket Trio gritted their teeth and said, ”That damned Ash!”

The feud was now set, and thus began the love-hate relationship between the Team Rocket Trio and Ash.

”I can’t believe that Ash actually has a super rare Pokemon like Kirlia; we must snatch it and give it to the Boss!” Jessie said angrily.

”Not just that Kirlia, but also that Pikachu. Didn’t you notice how unbelievably strong that Pikachu is?” Meowth reminded.

”Right, send both Pikachu and Kirlia to the Boss, that way we can get a promotion and a raise...” James was full of longing.

”Then, the mission to capture Pikachu and Kirlia officially begins!”

Late at night.

Misty lay on her bed, looking at Ash on the bed next to her, and said with great admiration, ”Ash, I can’t believe you’re so amazing; you can easily defeat an evil organization like Team Rockets.”

”Their strength is quite ordinary, really. If it were you, Misty, you could easily defeat them too.”

”Really?!”

Ash’s words made Misty’s heart leap with Nurse Joy.

”Of course, it’s true, Misty. It’s getting late, so get some rest, or it will affect tomorrow’s itinerary!”

Ash was already tired after a long day; if it weren’t for waiting for Team Rockets to appear, he would have wanted to go back to sleep after making the call.

”Mm, good night, Ash!”

”Good night, Misty.”

After exchanging goodnights, they both went to sleep.

This night was not long for them, but for some unfortunate souls, it was a different story.

The next day, early morning.

Ash, as usual, woke up early to exercise.

Pikachu and Kirlia did the same.

In the open space behind the Pokémon Center.

Ash released the three Pokemon he had caught yesterday.

”Alright, starting today, you all will also join in the training!”

”Pikachu, you continue to improve your control over lightning, and at the same time, you must constantly try to fuse lightning to maximize your explosive power. Also, after today’s training, I’ll put a weighted item on your tail; you need to work hard to improve your tail’s strength.”

”Kirlia, your training content has also been updated. Next, during your Telekinesis training, you need to try to sketch different patterns simultaneously. Once you can use Telekinesis to draw both Pikachu and your own portrait at the same time, we’ll move on to the next stage of training.”

”Pidgey, your and Fearow’s training is very simple: just battle each other. I won’t give you commands; you can play freely, but the premise is to pay attention to safety.”

”Bo!” ”Er!”

The two newly joined Pokemon nodded very seriously.

”Alright, you all go train first.”

As soon as Ash finished speaking, the four Pokemon found places and began their training.

Meanwhile, Feebas, splashing in the water, looked at Ash with expectant eyes.

”Feebas, you are going to evolve into the most beautiful Pokemon in the world! Your training content is different from theirs!”

Ash chuckled, took out a handful of special energy cube and a stack of photos, then began to instill in Feebas the idealistic knowledge that she was always the most beautiful.

After half an hour of coaxing, a sense of confidence emerged in Feebas’s eyes, and the entire fish’s spirit and energy had changed somewhat.

”Ah~”

Just then, Misty walked out of the Pokémon Center, yawning.

She rubbed her eyes and said, ”Ash, good morning!”

”Morning, Misty!” Ash responded warmly.

”I didn’t expect you to be so diligent, Ash. No wonder your strength is so great.”

”Still far from it! By the way, Misty, let your Feebas out too; I’ll teach you how to train her.”

Ash’s promise was not just talk.

”Ah, okay!”

Then Misty released her Feebas, but after she glanced at Ash’s, she was completely stunned. They were like two different fish; yesterday, it was a shy and introverted ugly duckling, but today it was confident and vain, and the luster of its scales all over its body had also improved a level.

She looked at Ash in disbelief and asked, ”Ash, is this the Feebas you caught yesterday?”

”It’s her, alright.” Ash nodded with a smile.

”This change is too big!”

”Just a small change. If you follow my method, you can achieve it in half an hour too.”

It would be a ghost if the change wasn’t big. Ash was using top-tier custom energy cube sold in the system mall, each costing fifty thousand Alliance coins. In half an hour, he had already burned a million.

Of course, money is merely external; the money Ash had earned over the years was enough.

An hour and a half later, Ash and the others finished breakfast and embarked on their journey to Pewter City.

After leaving the City limits, Ash and the others re-entered Viridian Forest. The moment they stepped into the forest, Ash could clearly feel Misty’s tension.

If Ash remembered correctly, Misty seemed to be afraid of bugs.

”Wah ah ah! Bugs, so many bugs!”

They hadn’t walked far when Misty’s scream echoed through the entire forest.

Ash followed Misty’s gaze, and, well... there were indeed many failed evolution forms of Rayquaza larvae, an estimated ten or so clustered in the bushes.

Ash gently patted Misty’s shoulder and encouraged her, ”Don’t be afraid, they’re just some small bugs. I’m here, Misty!”
