Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

At this moment, hearing the responses from the security guards, Lu Yu nodded in satisfaction. He then turned to Wu Song and said, ”Take her to the lounge, and when she wakes up, tell her to get lost!”

Lu Yu always had zero tolerance for a madwoman acting like a rabid dog.

”But boss, she’s already been knocked out by the electric shock. Wouldn’t it be more prudent to call an ambulance?” Wu Song asked, filled with inquiry in his words.

Even though he really disliked Liu Garden, she was the lover of the deputy director of the Bureau of Industry and Commerce. Simply dumping her in the lounge after electrocuting her felt incredibly awkward.

”Call a damn ambulance, she’s not dead yet, is she?” Lu Yu glanced at Liu Garden on the ground and responded irritably.

This electric baton doesn’t carry a strong current, it basically doesn’t harm the body, and she’ll wake up on her own soon, so Lu Yu didn’t take it seriously.

Hm!

And as if to prove Lu Yu’s words, Liu Garden let out a low groan and immediately showed signs of regaining consciousness.

Seeing this, Lu Yu shook his head, picked up the electric baton again, went over to Liu Garden, and without further ado, pressed the button once more!

Zapping sound!

After another flash of blue sparks, Liu Garden fainted again!

Seeing this, Lu Yu handed the electric baton back to Wu Song, clapped his hands, and said to Wu Song, ”Alright, now you can call an ambulance!”

Everyone present was shocked by Lu Yu’s approach. This new security manager was really fierce, whipping out the electric baton at the slightest provocation, it was intense.

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Wu Song swallowed hard, said nothing more, signaled a few security guards, and lifted Liu Garden to the lounge downstairs. Since she had shown signs of waking earlier, they didn’t call an ambulance and just left her in the lounge while they got busy with their own work.

As Liu Garden was taken away, the onlooking employees from the marketing department returned to their workstations. Seeing this, Lu Yu turned and gave Wen Ya a slight smile, ”Alright, Sister Demon, everything’s sorted. I don’t think we’ll be dealing with people like that again.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Qin Qi also smiled slightly and whispered in Lu Yu’s ear, ”Thanks, little brother. Next time, let sister take you out for some fun.”

”Sure, I’ll look forward to it,” Lu Yu replied with a smile and then headed toward the elevator.

Watching Lu Yu’s back, Wen Ya displayed a charming smile in her enchanting eyes.

...

After leaving the marketing department, Lu Yu returned to his office and engrossed himself in watching movies, and before he knew it, it was time to get off work.

As he slowly walked out of the security department, Lu Yu immediately spotted Xia Bing in her business attire, heading toward the entrance of Victory Group with a bag on her back.

Leng Qingqiu’s assistant, Xia Bing, had been so busy lately that Lu Yu hadn’t seen her for a few days. Seeing her today brought a sense of familiarity to him.

When Xia Bing saw Lu Yu at the same time, she gave a friendly smile, looking beautiful and intellectual.

”Lu Yu, off work? If you’re free, how about we walk together?” Looking at Lu Yu, Xia Bing spoke kindly.

After accompanying Lu Yu to buy clothes last time, Xia Bing had been very nice to him, perhaps because Lu Yu had saved her on the subway before. The familiarity between them felt like old friends, with no sense of estrangement at all.

”Sure, I can give you a ride home,” Lu Yu replied with a smile, finding this gentle and shy girl quite appealing.

With that, Xia Bing smiled slightly and walked out of Victory Group with Lu Yu, heading straight to her residence by car.

In LA City, where real estate is extremely expensive, Xia Bing hadn’t bought a home but rented in a high-end apartment instead.

These high-end apartments were well-equipped and had steep rental costs, unaffordable for ordinary white-collar workers; only someone like Xia Bing, a CEO assistant, could manage to live in such a place.

Gazing at the cozy and comfortable apartment, Lu Yu smiled slightly and said, ”Xia Bing, the rent here isn’t cheap; looks like you’re a secret little wealthy person.”

Ha! Ha!

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Xia Bing laughed out loud, flashed her cute little tiger teeth, and replied with a smile, ”Not at all, if I were a rich lady, I wouldn’t be living here. I’m here because it’s peaceful and safe.”

”Actually, you could consider buying a place here. I think with your capabilities, at least the down payment wouldn’t be an issue,” Lu Yu said lightly. Although he didn’t know Xia Bing’s exact salary, judging by the Lu Family’s standards, he assumed her salary was quite impressive.

”Yeah, you’re right. But I still need to think about it, since there are a lot of complicated matters I need to sort out first,” Xia Bing replied with a faint smile, a complex expression flickering briefly in her eyes, but Lu Yu caught it with his keen observation.

He didn’t press further; everyone has their own secrets, and directly asking is not a polite thing to do.

Seeing Lu Yu didn’t pursue the topic, Xia Bing smiled sweetly, slowly changed out of her business attire into casual wear, and said, ”To thank you for saving me twice, I’m going to make you some Western dishes.”

”Sure, I’m eager to taste your skills, Xia Bing the beauty,” Lu Yu said with a smile. Somehow, the present Xia Bing gave him an exceptionally warm feeling.

This feeling brought him great comfort, even a subtle sense of long-lost warmth.

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Xia Bing smiled slightly, blushing a little, and walked into the kitchen to prepare dinner.
