Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

The Great Sage Realm might not seem like much now. Compared to the Immortal Realm, it seemed no different from any other realm. But in reality, such strength could be considered the backbone of the entire universe.

In particular, among starfields that were not ranked in the top hundred, Great Sages could already be considered top combat strength.

More importantly, only after reaching this realm would one have the possibility of attempting to enter the Immortal Realm.

Lu Yuan had always believed that Zhu Qingyu and the others had great potential. They merely lacked time.

Given enough time, they would be able to reach the Immortal Realm even without him blessing them with the power of Providence.

Now, he had merely brought that time forward. And to let them go one step further, Lu Yuan had decided to bless them with even more power of Providence.

After all, the stronger the Celestial Court became, the more at ease he would feel.

Since collecting all Nine Cauldrons, the situation had been steadily improving. The most dangerous and difficult matters had already passed for now. What he had to do now was stabilize the current situation.

Beyond that, he had also been paying attention to the outstanding disciples of the Jiang Clan. He could not say he treated them exactly the same, but at least he would not mistreat them. Anyone who wrote their true name upon the Investiture Edict could essentially be considered a member of the Celestial Court.

Lu Yuan also thought of something else. Once he fused the seventh Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token, he would be able to better control the power of Providence and then inscribe even more people on the edict. In this way, the Celestial Court’s strength could rise another level.

All of this was preparation for what came later.

Lu Yuan himself did not slacken, and neither did his subordinates.

The members of the Celestial Court, in particular, had recently been battling the two forces. Every one of them had brought out their own strength and methods, which was why things had gone so smoothly.

In short, it was just as he had once thought. To deal with a huge tribulation, one should not rely on a single individual. It required the united force of everyone.

Of course, Lu Yuan also knew that these actions would thoroughly enrage the two forces. But that was no longer important. They already stood on opposing sides, so whatever came, they would deal with it.

As such, after inscribing the names of another group of people on the edict, he entered seclusion again.

Meanwhile, aboard the Eternal Warship in space, the Eternals and the Ji Clan had long since received news that the Celestial Court had acted and undone most of their previous arrangements.

Several Celestial Seat Immortals had gathered together, each one furious. When Lu Yuan killed the Creation Immortals under them and the other Immortals, their first thought had been to eliminate him.

But in the end, they still calmed down. The plan had already reached its most critical point. If they acted rashly now, it would inevitably produce all sorts of trouble.

Perhaps when the time came, not only would they fail to kill Lu Yuan, but it would cause more problems.

”Tell me, what should we do next? The Starfield Lords are still in seclusion. We must make the decision ourselves,” a Celestial Seat Immortal of the Eternals spoke, his eyes full of anger.

His killing intent toward Lu Yuan had already reached its limit. He had only restrained himself because he had to consider the bigger picture. Otherwise, according to his previous temperament, he would likely have chosen to act long ago.

”We had already prepared everything before. There is nothing wrong with moving the plan ahead,” a Celestial Seat Immortal of the Ji Clan said.

He then thought briefly, then continued, ”Moreover, we cannot keep waiting. Lu Yuan’s actions clearly show he has already predicted what we want to do, which is why he had people act. If this continues, it will sooner or later become troublesome. It would be better to move the plan ahead. I believe that even if the Starfield Lords knew, they would agree with us.”

Like the people of the Eternals, the Ji Clan members could no longer endure it either.

Previously, they had been able to temporarily set aside certain enmities and anger. Yet, Lu Yuan had chosen to provoke them again and again.

Even someone with the best temper could not continue enduring. It would be better to begin the plan now and throw the entire universe into chaos. Once that happened, they would have the opportunity to kill Lu Yuan.

However, these words caused many people present to fall silent. Although they had waited for this day for a very long time, when it was actually time to begin, they still hesitated.

Because once they carried through with it, there would really be no turning back.

”Everyone,” the Creation Immortal of the Ji Clan spoke again. ”I know that once we do this, no one will be able to control the situation that follows. But our Starfield Lords are already in seclusion and are about to surpass the Supreme Immortal Realm. This is our opportunity to control this universe. We cannot hesitate anymore.

”From the start of Lu Yuan’s cultivation until now, how long has it been? Sooner or later, he will become the overlord of a region. If we give him more time to grow, when that time comes, it will be the end of the Ji Clan and the Eternals.

”Besides, do you not want to go one step further and become true experts?

He spoke earnestly and patiently. He looked forward to that day very much, because he had also accepted the power of the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons. It allowed him to see hope of entering the Supreme Immortal Realm.

But for now, it remained only hope.

It was not just him. Everyone present felt the same.

The power of the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons was strange, but it gave them enormous benefits.

For example, after accepting that power, the Celestial Seat Immortals present had all glimpsed the path to becoming Supreme Immortals.

They believed if they continued, they would definitely be able to go one step further. However, the world barrier remained. They could not obtain more of the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons’ power.

The only way was to begin the plan.

”Good!” the Celestial Seat Immortal of the Eternals concluded, agreeing to the matter.

They had to begin sooner or later anyway. Although the timing was not fully mature, they could no longer wait.

Soon, the experts of the two forces present reached a consensus.

Then, they steered the Eternal Warship and vanished from the Milky Way Starfield.

The Celestial Court learned of this immediately and reported it upward at once.

Previously, the experts of the two forces had remained in outer space, suppressing everything. Almost everyone had felt as though a great mountain were pressing down on them.

However, they had suddenly left.

Initially, this should have been good news. The problem was that it was too sudden. Moreover, it came just after the two forces had suffered blows from the Celestial Court.

Under normal circumstances, should they not have started a war? Why had they left?

No one knew what was going on. No one could make sense of it.

Lu Yuan was the same. Those aboard the ship were Celestial Seat Immortals of the two races. Why would they suddenly choose to leave?
