Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

”Oh?”

After hearing this news, curiosity appeared on Lu Yuan’s face. ”Which starfield is it?”

He had already expected that even if the top ten starfields knew of the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, they might choose not to act. They might not even be willing to go to war with the two forces.

Thus, Lu Yuan did not find what Jiang Ningxian had just said surprising.

However, there was still one starfield willing to support the Celestial Court and the Jiang Clan now, and that made him rather curious.

Still, he already had a rough guess in his heart.

There were only so many possibilities.

”The Sky Dragon Starfield,” Jiang Ningxian said.

She continued, ”The Sky Dragon Starfield knows the most about the records concerning the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, so they understand the severity of this matter. They have decided not to remain dormant any longer and will send some experts over.

”Part of their foundation will remain stationed in space to monitor the movements of those two starfields.”

This was news brought by her father, and she relayed it without the slightest omission.

As expected.

Hearing this, Lu Yuan nodded slightly.

The Sky Dragon Starfield was different from other forces. The matter of the black dragon back then was a clear lesson from the past.

Moreover, the ones governing that starfield at present were still the Dragon Race. Naturally, they understood the severity of the situation.

They knew that if the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons returned, then this was a major event capable of threatening the entire universe.

They had to respond.

Jiang Ningxian seemed to think of something and added, ”In addition, the Sukhāvatī Starfield has not given an immediate response. However, according to what my father understood after speaking with the three Buddha Lords, if it reaches a necessary juncture, they will also be willing to provide support.”

The Sukhāvatī Starfield belonged to the Buddhists and had three different factions: past, present, and future.

Previously, the one who had been at odds with Lu Yuan belonged to the Present Buddha lineage.

Even the Child of Present Buddha had been slain by him.

This should originally have been considered an extremely major incident.

But in the end, the Sukhāvatī Starfield did not seem inclined to pursue it. Even the true body of that Child of Present Buddha had not come to trouble him.

Clearly, they still understood the greater picture.

Of course, it could not be ruled out that the three Buddha Lords had different opinions.

No matter what, at least because Jiang Taiyu had personally gone there, the Sukhāvatī Starfield had ultimately displayed goodwill for now.

”If we have the support of the Sukhāvatī Starfield and the Sky Dragon Starfield, then matters will indeed be much easier,” Lu Yuan said. These were publicly acknowledged as the two strongest starfields in the starry sky.

Once they joined with his side, there would be no need to worry about the Ji Clan or the Eternals.

However, would things be as simple as they predicted?

He had no idea.

But some things were certain. The two forces would absolutely not sit and wait for death.

”What do you think of the two forces greatly accelerating their annexation of the various starfields recently?” Lu Yuan asked, looking at Jiang Ningxian.

Previously, the Eternals and the Ji Clan had acted tyrannically, but they had not gone too far.

However, their progress had quickened now.

Even stronger existences such as Creation Immortals had descended.

How could the great races of those starfields possibly be their match now?

”I believe the two forces must be planning something,” Jiang Ningxian answered. She felt there was more to this. ”If possible, we can take the initiative and see what exactly they are plotting.”

The two forces had sent experts down, continuously annexing beings from the major starfields on Earth.

It was very abnormal, and they seemed anxious.

Anyone could see that something was wrong. However, no one knew what they were trying to do.

That was why she suggested having their people make the first move. To draw out the enemy’s reaction by stirring the grass to startle the snake.

”That is exactly what I was thinking.”

Lu Yuan smiled. He had the same idea.

Although the Celestial Court’s side needed to accumulate strength, and although the two forces had accepted the power of the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons and should not be provoked without special circumstances, Lu Yuan felt that now was the time to test waters by stirring the grass.

In any case, one could not simply keep waiting for the enemy to strike. Acting now was absolutely the best choice.

They could not allow the two forces to continue like this. At the very least, they had to understand what the enemy wanted to do.

”Then...” Jiang Ningxian’s eyes lit up, and she immediately asked, ”What should we do next?”

”No hurry. I naturally have a plan.” Lu Yuan smiled.

He felt that there was still one more matter to explain.

It concerned the two Starfield Lords. There had been no news of them for a very long time. He always had an ominous premonition in his heart, so he wanted Jiang Ningxian to send a message.

She should tell Jiang Taiyu, who was in the starry cosmos beyond the domain, to investigate.

The clansmen of the two forces had already begun to act. As Starfield Lords, they could not possibly remain dormant forever.

That was not normal.

”Understood.” Jiang Ningxian nodded. She knew what she should do next.

Then the two spoke a little more about the matters to come.

Afterward, they each went about their work.

Jiang Ningxian needed to learn news from the starry cosmos, communicate with the elders of the Jiang Clan, and cultivate and evolve as well.

Lu Yuan naturally had even more matters on his shoulders. He could not be careless with any of them. Of course, the most important among them was to see how the two forces would react.

Taking the initiative and stirring the grass to startle the snake was not something an ordinary person could do.

If one’s strength had not reached a certain level, it could very well backfire. To ensure nothing went wrong, Lu Yuan placed Jiang Haokong in charge.

At critical moments, Jiang Haokong was permitted to act.

And Jiang Haokong?

After hearing this, he was beyond excited.

Ever since descending to Earth, he had not fought a proper battle. No matter what crisis arose, Lu Yuan had resolved it.

He had been holding himself back for a very long time. Besides, Jiang Haokong had now reached the Grotto-Heaven Immortal Realm. He wanted to know how strong he was now.

Lu Yuan also had the members of the Celestial Court act together, treating it as a kind of test.

Outside, the experts of the two forces had been acting repeatedly, annexing all sides.

Many people were already extremely dissatisfied, but they could do nothing about it.

Some beings were too weak. Even so, all sorts of resentment had arisen in their hearts.

Lu Yuan had long since observed this, so he chose to make an appropriate move.

Since the two forces had gone against the proper order and chosen to cooperate with the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, they naturally had to bear all consequences.

Although some starfields were indeed too weak to accomplish anything in the eyes of true experts, Lu Yuan still saw them as a form of strength. If that strength could be gathered together, its scale would be difficult to imagine.

It was just as he had thought before. Dealing with the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons had never depended on one person’s strength.

It required gathering the strength of the entire universe and starry cosmos. Only then could they face the great enemy.
