Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

At present, the Celestial Court and the Jiang Clan had joined forces, and that had already become a threat to the plan.

Of course, it was not much of a concern for now. They could still resolve it at any time.

The problem was the person behind the Celestial Court—Lu Yuan.

He was the true enemy, an existence who could not be ignored.

Both the Eternals and the Ji Clan understood this clearly. If everything had truly been orchestrated by him from behind the scenes, then matters would become very troublesome.

Even their clansmen who had accepted the black blood had ended up injured or dead. This had completely exceeded everyone’s expectations.

They had never imagined such a thing before, and now that it had happened, the most urgent thing at hand was to find a way to resolve it.

As long as Lu Yuan was dealt with, everything would cease to be a problem.

As for the Jiang Clan?

Unless those few foundational figures emerged, there was no need to fear them.

This was what everyone was most concerned about now. Thus, they waited for the two Creation Immortals to decide.

At that time, they would act together. Even if it was Lu Yuan, so what?

In several previous battles, the two races had ultimately been defeated, and although a Creation Immortal had died at Lu Yuan’s hands, that had been because they were insufficiently prepared.

Now that everyone had joined forces, things were different. They would use the strongest methods in the shortest time and give Lu Yuan no chance to react at all.

As long as they could do this, they did not believe Lu Yuan could still turn the tides.

At most, Lu Yuan was only a Grotto-Heaven Immortal. How powerful could he be?

”This is indeed a decent plan,” the Eternals’ Creation Immortal said with a nod.

To him, the death of his race’s Holy Son was a massive humiliation.

The Eternals had always had an extremely strong sense of pride. They had long wanted revenge, but unfortunately there had been no opportunity.

Now that everyone agreed, he was inevitably tempted.

He added, ”As long as we act quickly enough and deal with Lu Yuan, this will also be a great merit.”

Lu Yuan had always been a thorn in the hearts of the two races. They had no way to remove him, nor had they had the chance.

His meaning was clear as day. That was to seize this opportunity and kill Lu Yuan. When the Starfield Lords learned of it afterward, they would also be extremely pleased as they would have erased a significant enemy.

Beside him, the Ji Clan’s Creation Immortal fell into thought. His intuition told him that it would be best not to go trouble Lu Yuan now, but to keep a low profile.

Even if the plan and their actions suffered setbacks, they should try not to take them to heart. In short, they should not confront this man.

But on the other hand, as everyone present had said, if they all acted together, dealing with Lu Yuan was not impossible.

If they succeeded, it would absolutely be a good thing for both races.

Thus, after thinking for a short while, the Ji Clan’s Creation Immortal nodded. ”You are right.”

At those words, the eyes of those around him brightened. They knew a decision had been made.

However, the Ji Clan’s Creation Immortal quickly added, ”But we cannot act recklessly. We must have a plan. Lu Yuan is not easy to deal with.

”So when we act, we must catch him by surprise. It would be best if he was caught unprepared.”

His concern was clear. If they acted rashly, things might backfire. Perhaps in the end, even the plan would be affected. If that happened, it would be a major problem.

”The people of the Celestial Court have acted against us. Although Jiang Haokong leads them, they have also split into several groups. We can choose one group, surround them without killing them, and avoid acting personally. We only need to send a few stronger people while we lie in ambush in secret.

”When Lu Yuan learns that his subordinates are in danger, he will inevitably appear. At that time, we can kill him in one strike,” an Eternals’ Grotto-Heaven Immortal suggested.

In short, they would set a trap and make Lu Yuan jump into it.

”Not bad. If we do this, we can guarantee that nothing goes wrong.”

The others also approved of this plan. Put plainly, they would be the oriole behind the mantis stalking the cicada.

”Good. This plan is feasible.” The two Creation Immortals fully agreed.

It was not day one that they had desired to kill Lu Yuan. Unfortunately, Lu Yuan was indeed difficult to deal with. He possessed methods capable of killing a Creation Immortal, which made the two rather wary.

But after reaching this realm, they also understood that such terrifying methods could not be used casually. As long as they were fast enough and did not give him any time to react, there would be no problem.

After the exchange of thoughts, everyone began arranging a more detailed plan.

They would not act against Jiang Haokong. He was a Holy Son and difficult to kill; unexpected variables might arise.

But there were now many people from the Celestial Court out in the world, were there not?

They could serve perfectly as bait.

After confirming this, they began carrying out the plan. They knew this matter should be done sooner rather than later.

Thus, another period of time passed.

Under Jiang Haokong’s leadership, the members of the Celestial Court continuously acted against the people of the two forces. They achieved extremely good battle results.

In a short span of time, they had restrained the two forces’ movements.

This action also made many Outer Cosmos beings develop even greater respect for the Jiang Clan, while also looking at the Celestial Court in a new light.

They knew that if the Celestial Court had not acted now, their own races would likely have been forced to ally with the two forces, or even submit.

In other words, the Celestial Court had gathered people’s hearts.

Of course, Jiang Haokong remained the same as before and did not seek alliances everywhere. He continued following the plan Lu Yuan had set, constantly acting against the two forces.

And because matters progressed very smoothly, they split into several groups and attacked from different directions.

In a short span of time, they actually seized back some renowned mountains and great rivers occupied by the Ji Clan and the Eternals.

Among them was a team led by Zhu Qingyu and Ice Fairy.

As they continued advancing, they arrived at the Hengduan Mountains.

This had once been unclaimed land. Later, it had been occupied by Outer Cosmos beings who wanted to treat it as a Dao ground.

After that, it had suffered an attack from the Ji Clan. The Hengduan Mountains had now become a Ji Clan stronghold.

They had already received news that the people stationed here were mostly in the Sage Realm, so they could move to seize it.

Zhu Qingyu and the others had no qualms about this. They was in their own world.

”I have investigated clearly. There are indeed only Sages here. We can act.”

Ice Fairy soon brought back accurate news.

After that, the two reached the same decision. They would act.

Just as expected, the Ji Clan members stationed here were not especially strong.

They needed to keep expanding in every direction, so their strength had indeed become too dispersed. This became an opportunity for Zhu Qingyu and the others.

They could act forcefully, just like before.

These Ji Clan members had also accepted that black blood. Their strength was far greater than others in the same realm.

But that did not matter. The members of the Celestial Court had almost all received the blessing of Providence and could restrain it completely.

Thus, Zhu Qingyu and the others soon gained the upper hand. At this rate, seizing the Hengduan Mountains was only a matter of time.
