Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

As Jiang Ningxian stepped forward, the distance between the two of them grew closer and closer. Eventually, they could even feel each other’s breathing.

Lu Yuan did not retreat. He only looked at her quietly.

”Like what I said earlier, I am very happy that you told me those things today.” Jiang Ningxian stopped. A bright smile rose on her face, revealing two small dimples.

Then, without saying anything more, she clasped her hands behind her back, turned around and left with light, bouncing steps. Even though she had already entered the Immortal Realm, at that moment, her behavior was like that of a young girl in love.

Seeing this, Lu Yuan also smiled. Afterward, he left as well, preparing to handle his own matters.

Although the two of them had not said anything further just now, something seemed to have quietly grown between them.

After returning to his room, Lu Yuan focused his mind and began seclusion.

Previously, he had traveled through some corners of this world. With the Bodhi Tree’s help, he had already found the path to becoming a Creation Immortal. What he needed to do now was solidify those insights.

Cultivation and evolution were like rowing against the current. If one did not advance, one would retreat. Especially at this critical juncture, he absolutely could not slack off.

Time passed little by little. Lu Yuan’s strength also rose steadily.

However, reaching Creation Immortal was indeed difficult. At the very least, it could not be rushed, and he was not anxious.

Sometimes he entered seclusion. Other times, he guided his subordinates.

Yet the Celestial Court remained the same as before. No one had broken into the Immortal Realm.

During this period, Lu Yuan also learned a few things about the Sky Dragon Starfield from Yinglong.

However, perhaps because Yinglong’s own strength and realm had not yet reached that level, its inherited memories were still unclear, so it knew very little.

It only said that the Sky Dragon Starfield had been established by the first-generation True Dragon.

Its original purpose was to leave a place for its own kind to stand among the various races in the universe. At the same time, if they encountered certain great calamities, they would not always choose to stand by and watch.

For example, when the black dragon had brought disaster to the mortal world, it was the powerful existences of the dragon race who had sealed it.

In addition, they had once cooperated with the Human Sovereign Celestial Emperor and done certain things.

In short, their current decision to stand aside was only because everything was still under control.

This made Lu Yuan understand that under ordinary circumstances, the Sky Dragon Starfield would not act no matter what happened. But once the matter concerned the entire universe, things would be completely different. They would certainly not sit by and do nothing.

Of course, this was all Yinglong knew. It was not clear about anything more.

It also planned to head to the Sky Dragon Starfield after entering the Immortal Realm.

Lu Yuan naturally would not say anything about this. That was Yinglong’s freedom.

During this period, the Eternals and the Ji Clan drew closer and closer to the Milky Way Starfield.

This left the other great clans confused. After investigating, they discovered that these two forces had actually moved out their own foundations.

Although those top-ten great clans also had experts descending, they had only sent a portion.

But now, those two major forces seemed prepared to send down even Creation Immortals, and perhaps even Celestial Seat Immortals.

That was practically the same as mobilizing everything they had.

They could not understand it. Even for the Great Age’s Providence, was there really a need to go this far?

Of course, those were only the thoughts of the weaker starfield races.

News of the battle between the three great Starfield Lords at the cosmic borderlands had spread as well, but only a small number of people knew.

This was something the Jiang Clan had deliberately leaked.

The purpose was simple: to warn those great clans that the two great forces definitely had another goal.

Now that they had even brought out their foundations, could it truly be only for the Great Age’s Providence?

In Lu Yuan and the Jiang Clan’s guesses, the Ji Clan and the Eternals had done so much very likely because it had a great deal to do with the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons.

Although they were unwilling to think that way, caution was never wrong. Guarding against the two forces in this manner was also preparation for what came afterward.

Just like that, several more months passed.

On this day, Lu Yuan sat cross-legged in his room. Rays of light surged from his body. His golden vital qi had begun to change as well, as though it were returning to its original color.

This was a return to simplicity, and to him, it was also an unprecedented improvement.

As time continued to pass, the aura Lu Yuan emitted grew increasingly powerful. His entire body was shrouded in light.

But before long, everything returned to its original state.

”At this speed, I should have a chance to break into the Creation Immortal Realm soon.” Sensing his own condition, Lu Yuan took a deep breath. He was still fairly satisfied with this progress.

After interacting with the Jiang Clan, he had finally begun to understand that after reaching the Immortal Realm, taking another step forward was incredibly difficult.

Especially from Grotto-Heaven Immortal to Creation Immortal. Some people might even spend several hundred or a thousand years on it.

Immortal Realm existences could live for ten thousand years without issue. But that was indeed a very long time.

And Lu Yuan?

Only a few years had passed from the very beginning until now.

He did not continue thinking about it. Lu Yuan rose and left the room.

First, he walked around Jade Emperor Peak to check on the progress of the Golden-Winged Great Peng and the other beast kings.

Then he went to look at the Celestial Court members. These people would be the future backbone, so he had to do this.

Very soon, the Jiang siblings came again.

Jiang Haokong was different from before. He seemed very happy.

Lu Yuan sensed him briefly and knew that he had made significant cultivation progress. If this continued, he would likely reach Grotto-Heaven Immortal soon enough.

Jiang Ningxian beside him was the same, though she did not show it as openly as her younger brother.

At this moment, Jiang Haokong walked to Lu Yuan’s side and was just about to speak when he noticed something was wrong.

He suddenly sensed that Lu Yuan seemed to be emitting an even denser and more powerful aura.

Jiang Haokong was immediately startled, his voice trembling slightly as he said, ”Don’t tell me you’re about to break into the Creation Immortal Realm soon.”

Although he had long known that Lu Yuan was much stronger than him, even setting aside battle prowess, Lu Yuan’s realm had also advanced faster.

Originally, Jiang Haokong had been very happy that he was about to reach Grotto-Heaven Immortal.

This way, he and Lu Yuan would belong to the same realm.

But now, judging from the aura Lu Yuan emitted, Lu Yuan was actually about to take another step ahead.

More importantly, once Lu Yuan broke into Creation Immortal, would that not mean he was a full two realms above Jiang Haokong?

For a moment, Jiang Haokong felt as though his entire worldview was about to collapse. He could not speak. He found it difficult to understand. Should they not have been in the same realm?

Thus, his heart grew uneasy. He hoped to receive a negative answer. That way, he would feel much more relaxed.

However, after hearing this, Lu Yuan only nodded lightly and said, ”Yes.”
