Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

All along, Lu Yuan had been very clear that the Nine Cauldrons were far from simple. They possessed a mysterious power.

After all, when they had first been forged, they already had the function of suppressing Providence. Especially after he refined them, they could even help him directly grant others an enhancement, allowing others to gain tremendous benefits.

Although the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token and the Investiture Edict were part of the reason, that was precisely the point. Without the Nine Tripod Cauldrons, there would be no way to bestow Providence.

In short, the importance of the Nine Tripod Cauldrons was self-evident. If they were completely gathered, they would certainly be able to display powerful might.

However, Lu Yuan still could not be certain what that power specifically was.

But there was one thing he could be sure of. The power would inevitably give him and the Celestial Court a measure of reliance amid the current chaos.

Of course, during this period, Lu Yuan had not been idle either. He continued cultivating.

Only, after reaching the Immortal Realm, advancing further was indeed extremely difficult. At least for now, he still could not sense the barrier to Grotto-Heaven Immortal. He remained in the realm of Undying Immortal.

Lu Yuan knew that as his own realm grew stronger and stronger, cultivation and evolution would likely become increasingly difficult in the future, even with extraordinary talent.

Of course, this was nothing.

Immortals had basically already reached the upper levels of the entire universe, possessing terrifying battle prowess. Unless he encountered true supreme geniuses of his generation or those old-generation monsters from major clans, with his battle prowess, he could basically move unhindered and no longer fear many existences.

Under such circumstances, wanting to advance further naturally would not be simple.

He understood this very clearly, so he was not anxious.

The only things he needed to worry about were the Eternals and the Ji Clan. The two clans had already reached an agreement to cooperate. After this, they would definitely make a move against him and the Celestial Court.

There was no doubt about this. Although Lu Yuan had trump cards, he also knew that they could not be used lightly.

Now, it depended on what refining the remaining two Nine Tripod Cauldrons would bring.

Time continued to pass.

Although most of the Celestial Court’s members had already returned to Mount Tai, there were still many outside on patrol, including younger-generation figures such as Zhu Qingyu.

In Lu Yuan’s expectations, the future Celestial Court would inevitably be led by these people. And the current chaotic situation happened to be a good opportunity for tempering.

He did not follow them. After all, people always needed to grow. This was true of both strength and oneself.

Of course, Lu Yuan was also paying attention to some developments outside, such as a major clan seizing a famous mountain or great river and turning it into a base. Regarding this, he did not care and made no statement, because he had tacitly permitted it.

If he tried to restrict even this much, then that would mean making an enemy of the entire universe. Moreover, Lu Yuan also knew that this could not be stopped. It was better to let things develop. In a chaotic situation, the best outcome was for no one to focus on the Celestial Court. What he feared was all the major Outer Cosmos clans joining forces.

At that time, even with the Jiang Clan’s help, the Celestial Court might not be able to hold on.

Just like now, every race had its own conflicts, and the struggle for inheritances and blessed lands had been magnified. With the Great Age’s Providence added to the mix, the situation afterward would only grow more chaotic. Only in such circumstances would the Celestial Court have its true opportunity to rise.

Only after the Celestial Court rose could it better protect this world.

There was another point as well. Lu Yuan knew that Mount Tai was the most important of all famous mountains and great rivers. In a certain sense, it even surpassed Mount Kunlun. That was also why, long ago, he had asked Elder Ji and Elder Yun to place both the trials academy and the Celestial Court here.

If changes occurred in the future, they would be able to grasp the initiative. It could be said that Lu Yuan had already thought everything through a very long time ago.

Jiang Huanyun, who had already descended, was watching all this as a bystander. He could not help but regard Lu Yuan even more highly, because Lu Yuan had indeed arranged everything well. From this point alone, the Jiang Clan’s cooperation with him was absolutely the correct choice.

Thus, during this period, some members of the Jiang Clan also descended and began continuously strengthening the Celestial Court’s power. Among them, there was no shortage of Great Sage experts, and even Immortal Realm existences. After all, they had already received word that the Eternals and the Ji Clan would join forces. If the Jiang Clan did not send a little more strength, something might very well happen.

Fortunately, everything was quite normal for now.

One fine day, Jiang Huanyun brought news; the remaining two Nine Tripod Cauldrons had finally arrived.

Just as he had previously said, these two cauldrons were directly gifted to Lu Yuan. They asked for nothing in return and showed not the slightest hesitation. It was just as Jiang Huanyun had said before. This was their sincerity, and cooperation without reservation.

Lu Yuan naturally understood this and expressed his thanks.

As for why the cauldrons were delivered by Jiang Huanyun and not Jiang Ningxian or Jiang Haokong, the reason was very simple. The two siblings were currently in seclusion, hoping to advance further in a short time. The Great Age had already arrived, and whoever could reach the end would naturally have to rely on strength.

After Lu Yuan accepted the two cauldrons, he thanked the Jiang elder again, then returned directly to his residence. However, he did not immediately enter seclusion. Instead, he instructed the people of the Celestial Court to pay close attention to the outside situation.

Of course, most matters could simply be left for Jiang Huanyun to handle. With him present, there likely would not be any major trouble. In short, for the next period of time, Lu Yuan would enter true seclusion.

Not long after, inside his room, Lu Yuan sat cross-legged. Before him were two cauldrons, both bronze in color, with various patterns engraved upon them. More importantly, a heavy aura continuously emanated from the two cauldrons. Even after countless years had passed, that weighty sense of suppressing Providence had not weakened at all. Instead, it had grown even denser.

Lu Yuan observed them briefly, then calmed his mind and examined the other seven cauldrons on the Investiture Edict. They seemed to have sensed the appearance of the remaining two cauldrons and began emitting light. The Providence on the edict began to tremble as well.

It was exactly as he had expected. If all of the Nine Cauldrons were gathered and refined, there would be unexpected benefits.

”Good. Then let us see exactly what happens.”

Lu Yuan murmured to himself, then said nothing more. After adjusting his own condition, he took out the Great Luo Sword Embryo and cut open his palm. Immediately, drops of blood slid down from it, dripping onto the two cauldrons.

Buzz, buzz, buzz!

In the next instant, both cauldrons flashed with incomparably intense light, illuminating the entire house. Their aura became even denser, surging out layer upon layer. Fortunately, Lu Yuan had made preparations and used methods to suppress this power.

Otherwise, everything around him might have been obliterated. After all, these were the legendary Nine Cauldrons. How could they be judged by ordinary standards?

”Now, it officially begins!” Lu Yuan looked at the two cauldrons and drew a deep breath. Then he devoted himself fully to the process.
