Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

The Celestial Court had existed in ancient times.

Based on what Jiang Ningxian had told him previously, Lu Yuan knew that the two words Celestial Court represented the extraordinary and held immense significance.

At one point in history, the Human Sovereign Celestial Emperor had established the Celestial Court. It had not only become the most powerful force in the Milky Way Starfield, but also a terrifying existence capable of influencing, and even dominating, the entire universe.

The so-called Top 100 Starfields, the Eternals, and other forces of that level had stood a head lower before the Milky Way Starfield and the Celestial Court. Even they had to obey in the face of certain commands.

It could be said that the Celestial Court had once presided over everything. From that alone, one could see how powerful the Milky Way Starfield had been in those days.

However, after the Human Sovereign Celestial Emperor left and its powerful experts gradually withered away, the Celestial Court naturally declined as well, until it vanished completely.

Truth be told, many great clans and powerful starfields had never liked having such an overwhelmingly powerful force pressing down on them from above. During the Celestial Court’s disappearance, perhaps they had also given it a push.

After all, every great clan had its own pride. How could they willingly allow themselves to be restrained by others?

That was why, when the Outer Cosmos beings learned that Lu Yuan had founded the Celestial Court, they basically had only two reactions.

Shock hit them first. According to their clan archives, the Celestial Court had indeed been far too powerful. Its appearance meant that all races would have to bow their heads.

Then, shock gave way to mockery. They believed that Lu Yuan was not the Human Sovereign Celestial Emperor, and that the gap in strength between them was far too great. How could he possibly establish such a powerful force?

In short, the Celestial Court held extraordinary significance, though no one could say exactly what that significance was.

But now, Lu Yuan was beginning to understand. The reason the Human Sovereign Celestial Emperor had chosen to establish the Celestial Court was likely to unite the power of the entire universe against the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons.

Those were enemies that even the strongest existences had to treat with the utmost seriousness. They represented the arrival of calamity itself.

No matter how powerful the Human Sovereign Celestial Emperor was, he could not possibly face every crisis alone.

This inevitably reminded Lu Yuan of his own reason for forming the Celestial Court. In truth, he had also wanted to gather the strength of this world to resist the Outer Cosmos beings. By now, that goal could be considered fulfilled.

And next, would he have to do the same again, this time against the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons?

At that thought, Lu Yuan suddenly felt that the title Lord of the Celestial Court was far heavier than it sounded. But that was fine. As long as he continued growing stronger, there would be no need to worry.

Lu Yuan did not dwell on it any further and returned to his residence.

Although he had already reached the Immortal Realm, this was not the end.

He knew very well that with his current strength, he could only be considered an Undying Immortal at most. Above that, there were still four minor realms. Setting aside the strongest existences, even the black dragon he had encountered in the Dragon Prison had been a Creation Immortal.

By relying on the black blood of the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, it had lived for who knew how many years. Even now, it could still unleash the power of the Immortal Realm.

If Lu Yuan had not been strong enough, he would likely have been devoured long ago.

And that was under the condition that the black dragon had been weakened for countless years. What if it had been at its peak?

Just as it had said, it could absolutely be called a terrifying powerhouse. It might not be able to run rampant across the universe, but there were definitely very few people who would dare provoke it.

That was the realm Lu Yuan wanted to advance toward.

At the same time, he wanted to become even stronger than that black dragon.

Because he knew that his opponents were no longer limited to the Outer Cosmos beings. There were also the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons.

Only by reaching the highest peak could he truly fear nothing.

Therefore, his current strength and realm could not be called the beginning, but they were absolutely not the end he sought either.

Of course, while cultivating and evolving, Lu Yuan also began turning his attention to the growth of the Celestial Court’s members.

These people were very likely to become the main force in the future against the Outer Cosmos beings, and even against the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons.

Therefore, he had to help them grow stronger as quickly as possible. As it happened, this was a lull period. He had previously given the order for everyone to seek out fortune in famous mountains and great rivers.

Lu Yuan went with them personally as well, both to hasten their search and to secure more resources.

Originally, the Outer Cosmos beings had been doing the same. After all, their purpose in descending was to obtain fortunes and resources. But after hearing that Lu Yuan had personally taken action, they began to quiet down and no longer dared to move.

The reason was simple. Who knew whether he was coming for them?

Under these circumstances, it was better to play it safe. The power of the Separation of Heaven and Earth was about to fade completely.

When that happened, the situation would inevitably change. Even if things did not turn better, it could not possibly become worse than it was now, could it?

In short, the most important thing at present was to preserve their lives for the time being.

Because of this, it naturally became much easier for Lu Yuan to lead the Celestial Court’s members in collecting those resources and fortunes.

In less than two months, many people advanced another step because of it. Of course, during this period, he did not choose to take every resource and fortune clean. He only claimed a portion.

The Celestial Court had to grow stronger, but it could not block everyone else’s path.

As the power of the Separation of Heaven and Earth continued to dissipate, Earth changed once again.

More ordinary people embarked on the path of evolution and cultivation. Their progress was extremely fast, leaving some Outer Cosmos beings deeply astonished.

Of course, after descending, their own progress had not been slow either. But compared to the people of this world, they were much slower.

Under different circumstances, these beings would have chosen to suppress them. After all, no one wished to see people who could threaten them emerge. But now, Lu Yuan was personally overseeing Earth, and no one dared to do such a thing.

Therefore, during this period, the Celestial Court grew stronger, but the living beings of this world also grew stronger as well.

Humans and mutated beasts alike were all the same. Because of this, the Celestial Court absorbed even more people once again.

This was a virtuous cycle. It was equivalent to the entire world ascending and becoming stronger.

Some Outer Cosmos experts estimated that if things continued like this, it would not take more than a few years for the Milky Way Starfield to enter the rankings of the Top 100 Starfields.

That was a terrifying prospect. After all, everyone knew very well that every starfield ranked among the Top 100 had only reached that level after years upon years of accumulation.

But how long had Earth taken?

Merely a few short years.

This situation left them helpless.

Originally, if nothing unexpected had happened, they would have been able to divide up the various resources of this world among themselves.

But now, they could only watch.

After seeing the Celestial Court begin to grow stronger, Lu Yuan was very satisfied as well. Although it still could not compare to a true Top 100 Starfield, he could not ask for too much when it was progressing at such speed.

After leading the Celestial Court’s members through various famous mountains and great rivers for three months to collect resources and fortune, he allowed them to act on their own.

However, Lu Yuan was still somewhat disappointed. After all, he had not found the whereabouts of the remaining two of the Nine Cauldrons.

This forced him to wonder whether the remaining two cauldrons were still on Earth.

If they were not, then whose hands had they fallen into?

Just as he was thinking about this, Jiang Ningxian finally walked out of her residence, bringing with her the latest news from the starry cosmos, as well as from the Jiang Clan.
