Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

The current Celestial Court could be said to be the strongest faction on Earth.

Any Awakened with even a measure of talent would, for the most part, choose to join the Celestial Court, because it meant access to better resources.

There were also all kinds of breathing techniques and visualization methods that could help them advance further along the path of evolution.

And beyond all that, there was Lu Yuan himself. He had already earned the respect of everyone, and countless people wished to follow by his side.

There was no other reason for it. His standing alone was enough.

Of course, talent was not the only standard by which the Celestial Court accepted new members.

More importantly, it was a person’s willpower and character.

In the view of Elder Ji, Elder Yun, and the other higher-ups, talented people could always be found in large numbers.

But those willing to step forward at a critical moment, regardless of danger, were far fewer.

And such people were often the most important and the hardest to come by.

There was another point as well.

As far as talent was concerned, it was not that significant to the Celestial Court.

Lu Yuan possessed the Celestial Emperor’s Edict. Once he conferred someone, they would receive the blessing of Providence.

With that blessing, even those with only ordinary talent or bloodline would gain enormous benefits.

That was why the current members of the Celestial Court were cultivating and evolving far faster than the Awakened outside.

After a new round of investiture, another group received the blessing of Providence.

At the same time, because he had refined the fourth of the Nine Cauldrons, everyone else on the Celestial Emperor’s Edict, including the mutated beasts, more or less gained some benefit as well.

Even so, Lu Yuan was not particularly excited. While continuing his seclusion and cultivation, he also kept the beast kings searching for the remaining of the Nine Cauldrons. In short, this remained the highest priority for the moment.

Time passed little by little.

Another half month or so went by.

Lu Yuan had already completely stabilized his realm, and his combat strength had risen another step.

Even his Primordial Dragon Breathing Technique and the visualization method from the complete Dao De Jing had brought him new insights.

There was no helping it.

After merging with the Bodhi Tree, there were likely few in the entire starry cosmos who could match him in talent and comprehension.

For an ordinary person, even a Ranker, to comprehend those two methods and achieve anything with them in a short period of time would require a very long stretch of effort.

But the Bodhi Tree’s enhancement of his talent by a billionfold was no joke.

What delighted Lu Yuan even more was that, because of his deeper understanding of the breathing technique and visualization method, he had taken another step forward within the Great Sage Realm. If this continued, then perhaps before long, he would be able to stand at the peak of this realm.

That was because his foundation was already extremely strong.

And so was his talent.

Of course, Lu Yuan also suspected one other thing.

Perhaps the Providence on the Celestial Emperor’s Edict was also, in some subtle way, blessing him as well.

If that was true, then he had even greater confidence in breaking past the Great Sage Realm and stepping into the Immortal Realm within the shortest time possible.

The Immortal Realm was another tremendous dividing line.

And during his seclusion, the beast kings found the fifth of the Nine Cauldrons as well.

Lu Yuan rushed over at once.

This cauldron had appeared within a famous mountain and was hidden extremely well.

Without the proper method and without enough confidence in where to look, it would have been very difficult to find. Fortunately, the beast kings had taken Lu Yuan’s words to heart and understood how important the Nine Cauldrons were.

As long as they noticed even the slightest irregularity, they would investigate it for a long time.

Combined with their own powerful cultivation and realms, it was hardly strange that they had managed to find it after spending several months searching.

When Lu Yuan arrived, he discovered that it was indeed one of the Nine Cauldrons, the Liangzhou Cauldron.

Though the Nine Cauldrons might seem unremarkable in name, they were in actuality, the sacred vessels of the nation.

In Huaxia’s history, whoever obtained them possessed the power to contend for dominion under heaven.

Now, Lu Yuan had already gathered the fifth cauldron, meaning he held more than half of them. Only four remained.

But he knew that as things progressed, the harder it would be to find the remaining.

After obtaining the Liangzhou Cauldron, Lu Yuan expressed his thanks to the beast kings and returned once more to Mount Tai.

There was no helping it. He had to seize every moment now and grow as strong as possible.

The Nine Cauldrons increased the power of Providence.

They were the fastest way, and also the most effective way, to strengthen not only himself, but the Celestial Court as a whole.

Naturally, he could not help being anxious about it.

As for the beast kings, they did not take his thanks to heart at all.

Lu Yuan had never treated the members of the Celestial Court or its mutated beasts as mere subordinates. Yet to every being within the Celestial Court, he was their unquestioned lord. Since he had entrusted them with a task, they would naturally do everything in their power to see it through.

At the same time, the beast kings continued their search for the remaining of the Nine Cauldrons. Only four remained now.

They had already combed through countless famous mountains and great rivers. They had even searched some places beyond Huaxia as well.

From here on, the search would likely only become harder. Even so, the beast kings had no intention of giving up.

Not long after, Lu Yuan returned to Mount Tai.

He had just been about to enter his room and begin the refinement process when Jiang Ningxian and Jiang Haokong arrived.

During this time, the two siblings had also been in seclusion the whole time, strengthening themselves. By now, they had both reached the Great Sage Realm.

Of course, they had advanced this quickly not only because their own talents and bloodlines were extraordinarily powerful. More importantly, they possessed deep foundations.

Jiang Ningxian, for instance, had already reached the Great Sage Realm before descending to Earth. What she was doing now was simply recovering to that former level step by step.

”Congratulations. You’ve already obtained the fifth of the Nine Cauldrons now, the sacred artifacts that safeguard Huaxia,” Jiang Ningxian spoke with a hint of teasing in her voice.

Jiang Ningxian naturally knew what Lu Yuan had been doing during this period.

In fact, the Jiang Clan had also been very interested in the Nine Cauldrons.

One of Jiang Ningxian’s original purposes in coming to Earth had been to gather as many of the Nine Cauldrons as possible.

After all, they were divine artifacts forged by the ancient sages and possessed layer upon layer of unfathomable power.

They would definitely be of great use when collected.

However, ever since Lu Yuan began collecting them, Jiang Ningxian had more or less given up that idea. She felt that it made little real difference whether he obtained them or she did.

At the side, Jiang Haokong said nothing. He merely stood there watching Lu Yuan. In the end, he could not help letting out another sigh.

The reason was simple.

Once again, he felt that he was still no match for Lu Yuan.

That was a rather dispiriting realization, so he naturally remained silent, since he had no idea what to say.

Thinking back on everything since he first arrived, he had been suppressed the entire time.

”Stop teasing already. Did you receive some new information?” Lu Yuan ignored the earlier remark and asked.

He knew that if there were no important matter, the two siblings would not have come to find him together.

”Yes. There is indeed new information.”

Jiang Ningxian gave it some thought before saying, ”Word came from my father. The Holy Son of the Eternal Clan and the Holy Son of the Ji Clan have both already drawn near the Milky Way Starfield.”
