Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

A military aircraft descended and landed smoothly on the Mount Tai Trials’ Academy’s runway.

Elder Ji, Elder Yun, and other top officials stood waiting near the runway. Everyone revealed grave faces tinged with deep worry. They had all heard the news making the rounds across the globe at the moment.

Soon, Sages from outer space would descend and fight King Lu.

The implications were too significant for it to be treated lightly.

Just then, the aircraft’s cabin door opened wide. Lu Yuan and his companions disembarked onto the tarmac.

Elder Ji rushed forward before anyone else. He looked and sounded worried as he said, ”King Lu, about your conflict with those beings from outer space...”

The others didn’t speak, but they all wanted to hear Lu Yuan’s thoughts.

Lu Yuan knew why they were deeply worried. To assuage their worries, he revealed a calm smile as he replied, ”I have my own plans. Rest assured.”

A Sage could indeed make him feel some pressure, but that was it. Even if he could do it over again, he would make the same choice without any hesitation.

Lu Yuan looked at the group and added, ”For now, don’t overthink it. Just focus on maintaining control and order over the nation.”

News of the three Sages’ eventual descent had already stirred many beings from the Outer Cosmos into action. Of course, he also knew those beings would not dare to act rashly just yet, as they would surely wait for the final outcome.

For the sake of the ordinary citizens, however, the officials had to move against them as soon as possible.

The officials couldn’t let any chaos fester, especially in a situation like this.

”All right, we understand.” Elder Ji wasn’t one to fuss for no reason. At a time like this, he knew that the only thing he needed to do was trust King Lu.

Since the Global Awakening, so many crises had happened. In the end, King Lu had resolved every single one of those crises. Sages were powerful, but he still had faith in King Lu.

Seeing that they had taken his words to heart, Lu Yuan nodded and turned around to leave. Before he could take any steps, however, he paused and turned to face them again.

”I’ve obtained an excellent visualization method from the sacred land on the Kongtong Mountains. It can lay an exceptionally solid foundation for any Awakened below the Sage Realm,” he said.

”I’ll write it down from memory. Send someone to collect it from me later. How you’re going to use it is all up to you,” he added

The Daozang Visualization Method was an excellent visualization method for the Awakened who had just set foot on the path of evolution.

Lu Yuan’s line of thought was simple. Since he intended to rebuild the Celestial Court, why not share this visualization method to cultivate more talented individuals?

Moreover, he knew that he’d eventually leave Earth and venture into the Outer Cosmos. This world needed people capable of holding the line against future threats.

Only then could he traverse the universe with peace of mind. He’d also not feel too worried about Earth by then.

After saying that, he turned around and headed for his residence.

”Why do I get the feeling that King Lu is... getting his affairs in order?” Chunyang said with a strange look on his face. His words elicited a change in everyone’s faces.

Zhu Qingyu stepped forward and replied, ”What nonsense did you just say? Even if it’s against Sages, King Lu has nothing to fear! He’s strong enough to deal with them!”

Her voice was loud, but it lacked conviction. No one knew exactly how powerful Sages were, but without question, they knew none of them could fight such beings.

”Enough.” Elder Ji raised his hand and silenced them. After a moment of thought, he said, ”King Lu has rendered great service to the people of Huaxia. No matter what happens next or how powerful the enemy may be, we will stand together with King Lu and face them with him.”

He believed that words no longer mattered at this point. They had to find a way to withstand this crisis. They weren’t particularly strong, but they still had the passion and resolve to deal with the crisis.

How could they simply stand by and watch?

In times of crisis, they had to stand together.

Setting aside everything else, Lu Yuan had done many things for the benefit of Huaxians, and they all knew that this crisis was born only because Lu Yuan had fought for their sake.

If they somehow overcame this crisis, it’d be great news for Huaxia and everyone on Earth.

They had to face their enemies without fear. So what if they were Sages? They would fight those so-called Sages to the death!

Everyone present nodded in agreement, and their gazes gradually grew resolute. Regardless of whether they could make a difference, they had made up their mind. They were going to give it a try!

Lu Yuan made his way to his residence.

Jiang Ningxian remained in seclusion and did not appear.

Outside, the man called Uncle Jiang was busy tending to flowers and plants. A terrifying power resided within him, and even Lu Yuan could not see through him.

Lu Yuan nodded at him in greeting but said nothing more.

Uncle Jiang returned a smile in acknowledgement.

Upon entering his room, Lu Yuan sat down cross-legged to regulate his breathing. Following his memories, he wrote down the Daozang Visualization Method in its entirety.

An excellent visualization method, breathing technique, or divine ability would be extremely difficult to comprehend. Lu Yuan was aware of that, so he also wrote down his own insights and interpretations.

With the Bodhi Tree’s blessing, this task caused no concern at all. He expressed everything in the most understandable manner, ensuring that anyone could understand it.

Once finished, he placed the documents on the table outside. He had already asked them to collect it sometime later. With that, Lu Yuan returned to his training chamber and drew a deep breath.

He waved his right hand, and the Heaven-Flipping Seal appeared. It still looked damaged and unremarkable, giving no hint of its extraordinary nature.

He paid that no mind and closed his eyes before letting his blood drip onto it. This time, his goal was to refine the artifact with all his strength.

Thirty restriction arrays remained inside it. He had to move quickly, or he would be in trouble once those three Sages were here.

The Heaven-Flipping Seal was a legendary supreme treasure. If he could wield it with mastery, it would become his trump card.

Before long, his blood seeped into the seal, and wisps of light emerged from it.

Lu Yuan could clearly sense the remaining thirty restriction arrays inside the seal.

For an ordinary person, refining these arrays would be really difficult, but I assimilated the blood essence of a Human Sovereign, so doing this as quickly as possible is no issue for me, he thought before meditating and focusing on his task at hand.

Beyond refining the Heaven-Flipping Seal, Lu Yuan devoted part of his consciousness to his breathing technique and visualization method. He had no choice, as his soul was simply too powerful. Dividing his attention two ways was trivial; even splitting it a hundred ways posed no challenge.

As time ticked by, every single array in his way was refined. The light emanating from the Heaven-Flipping Seal grew even more intense, and Lu Yuan felt his control over it deepening over time.

Eventually, he discovered that the seal truly contained terrifying might. It was a genuine weapon of mass destruction. Once unleashed, there would be a cataclysm.

When Lu Yuan went into seclusion, the beings from the Outer Cosmos began spreading news that three Sages would soon descend on Earth.

Lu Yuan’s domineering actions had forced these invaders to hide in the shadows. There was no other way; the man was just too powerful. Those who had already descended were simply not his match.

However, things were different now. He had provoked three great races, and their Sages were about to move against him.

Unlike Earth’s Awakened, the invaders were fully aware of the terror a Sage could bring about against their enemies.

Even if these Sages ended up getting weakened by the mysterious force protecting Earth, they would still be terrifying beings.

In addition, a Venerable King standing toe-to-toe against a Sage was a rare existence. Those capable of doing that were true prodigies.

Lu Yuan was strong, and he could certainly become a Ranker in the Outer Cosmos, but in the eyes of these invaders, he wasn’t exactly a true prodigy.

They all believed that Lu Yuan would certainly die against a Sage, let alone three Sages.

Earth’s Awakened and the ordinary citizens became deeply worried, especially when the invaders deliberately spread news that fueled the fear, uncertainty, and doubt in their hearts.

In some places, panic began to take hold.

Lu Yuan was the strongest Awakened on Earth. If something were to happen to him, they couldn’t even imagine what would happen to humanity in the future.

Despair gripped everyone’s hearts in the face of the uncertain future. After all, this crisis was unlike anything they had ever faced. This time, they were about to face a crisis in the truest sense of the word!
