Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

As the Main War Faction was fighting fervently, the Refuge Planet was flourishing.

Thanks to various plants capable of surviving harsh conditions, the barren land gradually came to life.

Initially, the refugees maintained a unique caution, being careful to avoid magic contamination and leaving the stronghold as little as possible, but over time, research showed that a small amount of magic invasion caused little harm to the body, so they loosened their control.

The Human greed for freedom began to emerge.

Many people didn’t want to be confined to narrow strongholds; they yearned for wider horizons.

By transforming into Subhumans, they could gain the qualification to stay outside for extended periods, and countless people rushed for it.

Sometimes, to qualify for transformation, one had to participate in a lottery.

Before the transformation, researchers would clearly inform the Reformers that the purpose of transforming them was to combat the goddess, and once they underwent transformation, they risked being summoned to the battlefield at any time.

Everyone who accepted transformation did so without hesitation.

They were willing to come to this planet voluntarily and not out of compulsion.

Under Luca’s education, they also wanted to contribute to this society and civilization rather than mere existence.

Now, a figure named goddess stood on their civilization’s development path, sacrificing for the whole civilization held little fear.

There existed communication between the two planets, and they would periodically exchange research results.

Soon, ecological collapse struck the Refugee Planet.

The plants grew wildly, consuming a large amount of carbon in the air, leading the Refugee Planet into a winter, and the atmosphere covering the planet began to crumble.

Long-missing gigantic storms started to ravage the Refugee Planet continuously.

Fortunately, when building the refuge, designers also considered this situation, so not many strongholds were destroyed by the huge storm.

However, no one knew when the storm covering the entire planet would cease.

More frightening was that this storm might blow away the planet’s atmosphere, robbing the Refugee Planet of its scarce water resources, returning it to its original state.

By then, all efforts made by Human on this planet would vanish into nothingness.

The enormous storm incidentally destroyed Human communication facilities, resulting in the loss of contact between the two planets.

Refugees could only conduct self-rescue, naturally thinking of using Special Magic Power to lock the entire sky, like on their Mother Star.

This is a sanctuary for Humans; if the Human war on the Mother Star fails, this place naturally becomes the second battlefield.

If it’s so, then go ahead and do it.

The leaders of the refuge stopped hesitating, decisively investing substantial resources to undertake the plan.

If nothing is done, the food inside the refuge suffices for everyone.

After concentrating production capacity, the supply of food naturally declined considerably.

The refuge leaders simply lifted the control on edible Magic Plants, and Human transformation changed from voluntary to mandatory for everyone.

The transformation technology on the Refugee Planet advanced by leaps and bounds, enabling phased transformation, and implanting non-mammalian genes in Humans, endowing them with many non-mammalian characteristics.

At the time, leaders promised all transformations were temporary, and after overcoming difficulties, they would develop various technologies to restore those unwilling to maintain this state to Human form.

With no worries left, refuge people embraced the transformation.

Only plants, no animals, unable to maintain ecological balance.

Without Mother Star’s permission, Refugee Planet initiated its Demon manufacturing plan, to later cooperate various tasks carried out by Subhumans.

To ensure Magic Power supply, many people naturally injected their consciousness into the Delicate Fairy Clan’s bodies, integrating with them.

Among them, a genius-level figure, after completely transforming into a Fairy, resolved numerous Magic Power problems, enabling Fairies to recharge magic power without relying on machines.

Refugee Planet developed under such circumstances for nearly decades.

Main War Faction on the Mother Star once sought to send aircraft carriers to break through the atmosphere, reach Refugee Planet to check the situation, implement rescue, and supply materials.

But fearing that drilling holes in the sky would cause Magic Power to leak into outer space, inviting Angels to exploit the gap, they temporarily shelved the plan.

Main War Faction gathered for prolonged discussions.

Before they could come up with a perfect plan, they received a signal from the Refugee Planet leader: ”We will properly handle everything here, though it may take some time.

Please focus on preparing for battle with the goddess and Angels.

As we can’t guarantee signal integrity, we might not be able to exchange technology regularly, and some decisions might be made without consulting you, please understand.

We’ll regularly contact you, reporting our safety.

Please don’t worry, please don’t worry.”

Refugee Planet leader reported, yet many people still worried.

They could only pray for their compatriots, then continue to meticulously plan the fight against Angels and goddess.

When the Refugee Planet leader managed to stabilize the planet’s ecology and reconnected with the Mother Star, Humans were unexpectedly on the brink of fragmentation.

Early in the battle, the Main War Faction held some advantage, but the Goddess Sect, along with other opponents, cleverly united and played one brilliant strategy after another, stealing countless technologies from them.

Main War Faction’s foundation began to waver.

Various factions united, without overthrowing the Main War Faction at once, but set a series of strategies with hidden purposes under seemingly ordinary requests, gradually eroding the Main War Faction’s base, aiming to prevent its recovery.

The Refugee Planet leader’s sudden contact became a lifeline for the Main War Faction.

Upon learning their achievements on the Refugee Planet, the Main War Faction was elated and immediately invited them to jointly safeguard the Human community.

The Refugee Planet leader did not decline and promptly accepted.

Considering many factors, the Main War Faction avoided transporting troops via aircraft carriers but reopened the Folding Jump device.

Before reinforcements emerged from the Refugee Planet, immense Magic Power was first transported through the device.

This affected many untransformed members of the United Faction, causing them to lose some combat capability.

Main War Faction was prepared for this.

Deliberately letting a large amount of Magic Power invade the Mother Star.

Taking advantage of the United Faction’s confusion, the Main War Faction, along with reinforcements from Refugee Planet, launched a powerful counterattack against the United Faction, achieving a major victory.

The trend of Human division was halted.

Fengte knew this was temporary.

Now, it was time to regroup and regain public support.

Like in the past defeating religions, eradicate the Goddess Sect from the foundation, letting them see the superiority of Luka Sect.

However...

Fengte’s proposal was rejected, and the Main War Faction brought out a previously unfinished plan and began discussions.
