Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Even though he was tied up, the pirate leader was still arrogant, holding a grudge over his defeat, and shouted loudly at Yang Yu:

”Using such despicable means to catch me off guard! If you have the guts, let me go, and I’ll show you my power.”

Yang Yu helplessly spread his hands.

The more ignorant a person is, the more inexplicable courage they have.

Brother, did you not notice how you were taken down just now?

”Then I’ll give you a chance.”

Yang Yu signaled to the people around to move further away.

Then, Yang Yu threw a knife in front of the pirate leader and released the thorns entangling him,

”Come at me!”

Stretching his wrists, the pirate leader picked up the knife, stood up, and charged.

However, he did not rush toward Yang Yu, but directly charged at Bai Jin.

”Only a fool would fight with you.

Even if I win, I’d still be surrounded by you all, unable to escape.

In times like this, of course, you’d take the weakest woman as a hostage.

So naive, truly too naive.

Looking at this ship, it’s clear you’re some rich young master.

If you want to blame someone, blame yourselves for living in your sheltered enclave, not knowing the dangers of society.”

The pirate leader mocked Yang Yu’s naivety while swiftly lunging at Bai Jin.

Bai Jin calmly extended a finger, first using the shield from the cloak [Flow of Darkness] to buy a little time, and then a bolt of lightning burst from her fingers, crawling over the pirate leader’s body, instantly leaving him bewildered from the shock.

The pirate leader spat out a heavy breath as if he’d just returned from the brink of death, his hair standing on end from the electric shock, kneeling weakly before Yang Yu and the others.

”A magician without chanting? How is this possible.....

Why would a magician of this caliber appear in this place?”

This time, the pirate leader realized deeply the disparity between them, acknowledging that Yang Yu and his group were opponents he could never hope to defeat.

With resentment in his heart, the pirate leader lost consciousness again.

Yang Yu shook his head helplessly, feeling as though, after working outside for many years and returning to his hometown, he saw the village bully who no longer scared him, only felt a bit pitiful.

Although this pirate leader dominated a part of the sea, he never aspired to a broader world, forever staying in his comfort zone, wielding his power recklessly.

Such a person, once encountering something beyond his understanding or capability, can only be toyed with by others, and in the end, all he can do is impotently rage.

Having Iyas heal the pirate leader again, Yang Yu poured a bucket of ice water on him to wake him up.

Upon waking, the pirate leader very decisively fell to his knees, continuously apologizing to Yang Yu and the others, admitting his mistakes.

Yang Yu, being quite generous, once again threw the knife in front of the pirate leader.

”Die? Or take us to the nearest port of the Tren Republic and be handed over to the navy by us?

Your choice!

Let me make it clear, there’s no third option.”

”Ah, this...”

The pirate leader couldn’t find words, this isn’t just one choice?

Without giving the pirate leader time to think, Yang Yu directly counted down from three.

”Three, two... one!”

”I get it, I surrender, I surrender, is that okay?”

When Yang Yu counted to the last number, the pirate leader broke down and quickly chickened out, choosing the second option, taking his pirate group along with Yang Yu’s group to the nearest port of the Tren Republic, Cloud Port, to be handed over to the navy by Yang Yu.

Yang Yu showed a satisfied smile and had Bai Jin pretend to inscribe an ”Explosion” Magic Array on the pirate leader and each pirate ship, then kicked the pirate leader into the sea, telling him to quickly organize his subordinates to set sail, without dawdling.

The pirate leader, not daring to show anger, swam back to his pirate ship, had his men hoist white flags, and accompanied Yang Yu and their ship, heading to the nearest port of the Tren Republic — Cloud Port.

After delivering the pirates to Cloud Port to be dealt with by the Tren Republic, and not handling it privately, Yang Yu had given it some thought.

On one hand, after interacting with the pirate leader, Yang Yu successfully triggered the task of exterminating the pirates.

Delivering these pirates to the Tren Republic navy not only garnered a substantial reward to supplement the household but also increased his domestic prestige through this matter.

On the other hand, the three pirate ships were also important spoils of war; having someone sail these pirate ships to the harbor allows them to be converted into assets.

Luo Luosi once said that pirate ships, more or less modified, are still more suitable to be sailed by the pirates themselves.

Going to sell the ox and cart, and using the ox to pull the cart, together, it’s inexplicably convenient.

Having witnessed Yang Yu and their strength, and with the ”Explosion Spell” cast on the ships, the pirates, even if they had the courage of ten leopards, dared not act recklessly, obediently following Yang Yu and their instructions, fully powering the pirate ships.

In less than half a day, Yang Yu and the others saw the slightly deserted Cloud Port in winter.

The naval guards on duty at the port also spotted the three huge pirate ships approaching, and immediately sounded the highest level alarm bell, rallying all combat-ready personnel in the city.

Even the highest combat power stationed at the port was alarmed.

He rushed to the port at full speed, and met with the highest Military Minister of Cloud Port.

Precisely because this top combat power stationed in Cloud Port, pirates generally didn’t dare to disturb the harbor randomly.

Now, suddenly having three pirate ships approaching the port left everyone present baffled.

”What on earth are the pirates trying to do?

In such cold weather, why aren’t they staying in their stronghold?

Are they short on food and planning a raid, taking the initiative to attack?”

”No matter what, ensuring the safety of the residents here is paramount. Since they dare to taunt us, let’s ensure they come but never return.”

”Wait a moment, their pirate ships are flying full white flags, and there’s an unfamiliar ship following them.”

”Could this be a trap?”

”It’s possible, let’s watch them for now. If anything goes wrong, initiate an attack immediately.”

With just a few words, the navy decided on a strategy, quietly observing the pirate ships’ movements.

Unexpectedly, those pirates were actually all coming to surrender.

Only, their surrender was forced, all thanks to that group of adventurers behind them.

After having the pirates line up one by one, Yang Yu dealt openly and honorably with the Military Minister here, discussing ”business.”

Yang Yu didn’t beat around the bush, saying he wanted to sell the pirate ships, and if the navy offered too low a price, repeatedly failing to reach an agreement, he’d rather blow up the ships than give them to the navy.

The Naval Minister was caught off guard by this business approach and immediately suggested, ”Let’s sit down and talk about the price carefully.”

Beside him, the pirate leader stared intently at Yang Yu, gritting his teeth, furious but not daring to speak.
