Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

”Wait a moment.”

Yang Yu also saw the ghost little fish swimming out from Bai Jin’s body and signaled to Lang Yi to wait, then walked over to Bai Jin.

Bai Jin connected the contact, and an elder with a long white beard appeared on the crystal ball.

This elder was Hualan’s master, Deputy Leader of [Corpse Collection Coffin], Icaro Flo.

Upon seeing Yang Yu, Icaro Flo got straight to the point:

”Long time no see, Leader Yang Yu. I’m sorry to disturb you so late.

But there’s something I must tell you.

After repeated checks, we’ve finally located the place from the memory of that woman that day.

We plan to launch a surprise attack soon and eradicate the Curse Sect.

Where are you now?

Could you come by to help us eradicate the Curse Sect?”

Just as expected...

It really doesn’t give people a moment to breathe; the matter with the Goblin Emperor and [Count Blood] isn’t even settled yet, and now it’s the Curse Sect.

Without frowning, Yang Yu truthfully explained:

”Currently, we are in the Ocean Duchy.

As an S-Class adventure group, you must have heard about the giant dragon’s call to hunt down the Evil Dragon.

Although we didn’t initially come to the Ocean Duchy for this mission, various incidents happened along the way, and we got involved.”

”How did it turn out? Haven’t started the hunt yet?” Icaro Flo asked further.

Yang Yu replied, ”To put it simply, the hunt failed.

The Evil Dragon is missing, and her offspring have scattered.

The giant dragon has issued a new mission, you should be able to see it if you go to the nearest adventurer guild.

Deputy Leader Icaro Flo, are you worried that we might be busy with other tasks and cannot come to help you?”

Stroking his white beard, Icaro Flo nodded, ”What are your plans next? Will you track down those escaping offspring of the Evil Dragon?”

”Over there, they have [Dragon God’s Might] dealing with it, just leave it to them.

I have some things to deal with here too...

To take that guy down might take quite a bit of time, and it involves considerable danger...”

After a moment’s silence, Yang Yu suddenly asked:

”I remember [Corpse Collection Coffin] is in the Tren Republic, I wonder if Deputy Leader Icaro Flo knows a commerce guild named ’Giant Umbrella Chamber of Commerce’.”

”Giant Umbrella Chamber of Commerce?” Icaro Flo ran his hand through his white beard, ”We [Corpse Collection Coffin] have accommodated many spiritual ability users; food, clothing, housing, transportation are all necessities. We have connections with many commerce guilds, and Giant Umbrella Chamber of Commerce is one of our partners.”

”That’s great. I have some dealings with their Commerce Association President, Carlo Joy, and have a business I wish to discuss. Could Deputy Leader Icaro Flo pass a message for me?”

”No problem.” Icaro Flo agreed without hesitation.

After that, Yang Yu listed the necessary items.

To eradicate [Count Blood], one must find a way to deal with that obnoxious toxin.

Currently, the only method Yang Yu knows to neutralize those toxins is to acquire them, then use special materials to concoct a special detoxification medicine.

If we have to travel to the Kafezaro Desert and back, I don’t know how long it will take, but if we can use the extensive information network of a commerce guild alliance, maybe we can obtain those materials for the special detoxification medicine sooner.

”...That’s all I need.

Just like the medicinal materials used for neutralizing the toxins in the Wansheng Country king before.

For now, prepare a hundred people’s worth, it doesn’t matter if you can’t gather it all.

My only requirement is to ensure quality while being as quick as possible.

It’s okay if the price is higher.

Just convey this to Commerce Association President Carlo Joy.”

”Understood.” Icaro Flo agreed again without hesitation, ”Anything else to convey?”

”That’s it for now.” After discussing the matter needing assistance, Yang Yu returned the topic to the Curse Sect, ”Back to the main topic, since you have already identified the Curse Sect’s stronghold, I want to know where it is located?

I will consider participating based on our current location.”

After confirming the location with Hualan again, Icaro Flo said to Yang Yu:

”It’s in the Tren Republic, in the mountain range southwest of Lati Dela Forest.

We have already dispatched personnel to constantly monitor the place under the guise of searching for special magic beasts.

To ensure safety, we haven’t gotten too close.

Additionally, the Goddess Sect has agreed to assist us.

After all, their Holy Maiden suffered misfortunes because of the Curse Sect.

Although the current Holy Maiden performs well in various aspects, without the inheritance of Holy Maiden power, it feels somewhat lacking.

The Goddess Sect wants to retrieve the Holy Maiden power from the Curse Sect and ensure those who desecrated the goddess pay the price.”

”In the Tren Republic...Lati Dela Forest...southwest direction...”

Hearing Icaro Flo reveal the location, Yang Yu suddenly thought of something and muttered continuously,

”It’s quite close...

So...

There’s this option.

Currently, it’s still winter in the northern hemisphere...

It should be doable.”

Faced with Yang Yu’s muttering, Icaro Flo said nothing, waiting quietly for Yang Yu’s answer.

Yang Yu raised his hand and waved to Luo Luosi not far away.

After removing the straw from her mouth, Luo Luosi rode a shell over to Yang Yu, ”What’s up?”

”How long would it take to get from here to the Tren Republic, is there a shortcut?” Yang Yu asked.

Luo Luosi puffed out her cheeks, ”If we could find a commercial transport ship for hitching a ride, it should take about a week.

However, commercial ships tend to avoid troublesome races to prevent unnecessary trouble.

If you were to directly trespass through those troublesome races’ territories and escape safely every time, you could probably cut the time down to three or four days.”

Yang Yu asked, ”What do you think of the strength of those troublesome races?”

”There are indeed a few tough individuals among them, but if you can maintain your best state, passing through shouldn’t be difficult, but it might take quite some time.”

”And what about adding [Island Drifting]?”

”That’s hard to say.”

Luo Luosi didn’t rush to conclusions, but Yang Yu could see from her expression that it was highly likely.

After all, Yang Yu and the others are people from the land; fighting underwater is far from being as adept as actual sea-dwelling species, but with strong sea-dwelling species supporting them, the situation would be vastly different.

”Then it’s decided.” Yang Yu leaned closer to the crystal ball and gave his response to [Corpse Collection Coffin]: ”Deputy Leader Icaro Flo, I’m willing to participate in this mission.”

As soon as Yang Yu finished his words, a new task popped up on the task panel:

[Faction Series Task Opened: [Cult of Worshiping Demons]]
