Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

The thorns burst from the ground like countless purple vipers, writhing and dancing frenziedly in the dense green smoke, launching their assault.

However, the target of these ”vipers” was not the delegation from the Luo Ze Empire, but the delegation from the Wansheng Country.

Before the subhumans present could react, the barbed thorns wrapped around their waists, coiled around their arms, and bound them to their positions.

Without dragging his feet, Yang Yu took out his shield, enveloped in a red light in front of him, and at incredible speed, crashed into the wall of the conference room, breaking through.

The conference room where the negotiations were held was on the second floor and did not require excessive protection.

As rubble fell, Yang Yu put his hand to his mouth, blew a whistle, and called for his companions to retreat.

Landing steadily on the ground, Yang Yu was ready to run, but at that moment, a Holy Light descended from above his head, transforming into a cage that confined him.

Amid the dust, an elf with half-swept bangs walked out through the opening Yang Yu had created, looking down indifferently at Yang Yu:

”Negotiator, causing such a commotion at the negotiation table is absolutely unacceptable.

Although Minister Ming Dalak said you have the liberty to do as you please.

But this is too reckless, the delegation from Luo Ze is now angry, please return to the negotiation venue and apologize to everyone.”

Yang Yu smiled, ”Sure, can you first release the restraints on me?”

”That won’t do.”

Dorena flatly refused, a dazzling Holy Light erupted from her palm, forming into Light Arrows that mercilessly shot towards Yang Yu.

Activating [Copper Wall Iron Curtain] and [Steel Body], Yang Yu used his body to catch each incoming Light Arrow.

Along with the Light Arrows, a Snow Ball jumped out of the thick smoke, bouncing to Yang Yu’s back, as General Bing Quan drew her beloved Long Spear, a silver light glinting on the blade, she thrust it towards Yang Yu’s back.

Seeing Bing Quan’s spear closing in, Yang Yu remained unworried, calculating the duration of the [Holy Light Restriction].

As soon as [Holy Light Restriction] ended, Yang Yu raised his right foot, sweeping it towards General Bing Quan’s abdomen.

On the Sailuomen Plain, Bing Quan had witnessed Yang Yu’s skills and knew his movements were swift, but she didn’t back down, lowering her spear to change her attack to an upward strike; as long as Yang Yu dared to kick, she dared to overturn him.

But Yang Yu feinted with a spear, quickly retracting his leg and sidestepping to dodge the sharp spear.

Then, the shield on Yang Yu’s left hand disappeared, and he slammed a fist into Bing Quan’s delicate face without hesitation, instantly knocking her back, rolling like a Fur Ball to the edge of a house.

Supporting herself with the Long Spear, Bing Quan rubbed her cheek, which stung with pain.

Though she knew Yang Yu was difficult to deal with, Bing Quan never thought she’d be overwhelmed by him so quickly.

With such an opponent, solo combat was out of the question.

Fortunately, the Wansheng Country’s delegation mostly comprised trustworthy individuals, among whom were powerful ones.

The delegation from the Luo Ze Empire surely wouldn’t want to see the unstable factor, the Colorful-Haired Masked Man, escape.

Even now, the people from the Luo Ze Empire were trapped in smoke, but they should soon realize it’s just ordinary smoke, rushing over to ”help out.”

As long as Yang Yu was held, reinforcements would continuously arrive.

With this in mind, Bing Quan swiftly charged at Yang Yu, launching another attack.

Yang Yu’s gaze swept around, besides Bing Quan, Dorena’s Holy Light also came together, accompanied by several Wind Blades slicing through the smoke, even worse, soldiers from Luo Ze were surrounding from all directions.

Surrounded on multiple fronts, seemingly with no escape, Yang Yu remained extremely calm, even finding time to guard against the fourth ”ally” flying into the sky from the smoke.

Skirting around to dodge the Wind Blades and Holy Light attacks, Yang Yu drew his Sword Blade to slash at Bing Quan’s Long Spear.

In this exchange, Yang Yu had a slight upper hand.

But batches of Luo Ze soldiers, taking advantage of the time Yang Yu engaged with Bing Quan, also launched an attack on Yang Yu.

”[Blood Burst Earth], discount version.”

Without hesitation, Yang Yu’s whole body emitted a blood-red light, which seeped into the ground, the Qing Shi slab-paved ground instantly cracking, a peculiar heaviness swept around Yang Yu, slowing the attacking soldiers.

This discount version, as implied, merely created a deceleration field, with no subsequent blood force eruption causing damage.

Watching everything from the air, elf Alk chanted [Ice Cone Skill] and [Ice Freeze Technique], though he had never fought with Yang Yu, he had heard a bit about Yang Yu.

It was precisely because of wanting to restrict Yang Yu’s actions that Ming Dalak finally chose him, who was extremely adept at frost magic.

A Magic Array blowing cold winds appeared from his hand, Alk unhesitatingly targeted Yang Yu, who was sparring with Bing Quan.

Bing Quan was a Snow Leopard Beastman, there was no concern she would be frozen by frost magic.

Suddenly, Yang Yu’s eyes flashed red, he avoided Bing Quan’s stab, his speed abruptly increased, in an instant, he had left the scope of the Ice Cone Skill.

Using [Climbing], Yang Yu stepped on the walls, leaping and running along the eaves, he even launched an attack towards Alk.

Daring to jump into the air, truly seeking his own death. As long as he could avoid this strike, he would hover mid-air, becoming a target.

Alk rapidly chanted spells, a light blue protective shield surged from his side, setting up protection for him.

In the air, Yang Yu’s sword first emitted a fiery orange glow, which was then enveloped by a pure white light.

Holding the Sword Blade, Yang Yu struck firmly at Alk’s shield, sparking white electrical sparks, the light blue shield shattered instantly.

Yang Yu’s Sword Blade cut across Alk’s chest, leaving an orange trail.

Alk fell like a meteor to the ground, while Yang Yu jumped onto the roof of a house, starting to parkour across rooftops, moving away from the negotiation site.

Yang Yu, while escaping, kept his eyes on the phantom of a giant dragon.

In Yang Yu’s view, he could see the head of the Red Dragon slightly move, turning in his direction.

If he acted at the negotiation site and caused death, it would be a major issue, classified as a violation.

But Yang Yu hadn’t violated anything now.

Just as Yang Yu suspected, in this world, dragons were more like rule-abiding observers.

With a coup occurring in the Wansheng Country, this negotiation itself might become ineffectual, but the dragons had not informed either side of the conference about the situation, letting events unfold.

Yang Yu still couldn’t understand what the dragons were thinking.

The dragons’ intervention in ancient wars was rare, the reasons for their actions a mystery, most of the time, they chose to sit back and watch.

Establishing so-called rules of war, perhaps, was merely due to an agreement with someone or something.
