Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

In a war between two nations, it’s perfectly normal for one soldier to kill another.

If a soldier can kill ten enemies, he might be called an elite; if a soldier can kill a hundred enemies, he might be called a warrior; if a soldier can kill a thousand enemies, he might be called a hero...

However, if a soldier can kill ten thousand enemies, people’s evaluation of him may start to change...

Even if everything that soldier did was to resist invasion.

Ajiket doesn’t know what the enemy thinks; perhaps, in their hearts, they have already regarded Yang Yu as a Demon.

Ajiket also doesn’t know how the citizens will react after knowing this, but going forward, Yang Yu will certainly become the focal point of everyone, and his every word and action will become critically important.

Perhaps, the voices of doubt can never be eliminated.

The key to ending this war will be how to persuade the majority on both sides, friend and foe alike.

Mere possession of strong ”Strength” and coercing the enemy to give in will only sow seeds of hatred for the future.

Flames erupted sky-high, and the pungent smell in the air grew stronger, as Ajiket urged the troops to quicken their pace.

A rapid march of the main forces would attract the attention of the Luo Ze Empire Scouts, so Ajiket and Yang Yu staggered the timing, pretending to stage a surprise attack near Benliang City, trailing behind Yang Yu’s group.

But before Ajiket could reach the blazing Benliang City for support, Ajiket and his troops saw the giant dragon crossing space.

Giant dragons would never casually appear on the battlefield, so the current appearance can only mean that Yang Yu’s actions have been deemed as transgressions.

Before the plan started, Yang Yu had guaranteed to Ajiket that the plan was within the rules and wouldn’t be sanctioned, which is why Ajiket agreed to Yang Yu’s plan.

If Yang Yu indeed violated rules, events following would become unpredictable.

Ajiket’s troops rapidly approached the already ruined Benliang City, the fire had already extinguished under the dragon breath of the giant dragon.

The ancient Red Dragon Marious folded its wings and landed in front of Yang Yu, its enormous body seemed as if just a flick of a finger could crush Yang Yu into meat paste, confronting Yang Yu.

Ajiket chose not to intervene but immediately organized personnel to desperately rescue the human soldiers as Yang Yu had previously requested.

Marious’ furious eyes reflected Yang Yu’s figure; she hadn’t felt this powerless in a long time.

Despite exerting all effort to put out the fire, the casualties from this fire far exceeded expectations; if she hadn’t arrived in time, barely a tenth of those caught in the fire would have survived.

”Boy, you really dare to act.

Do you know how many people died in that instant!

If it was ordinary Super Large Magic, they could still resist, and the casualties wouldn’t be as severe.

But your actions left them completely defenseless!

Tell me, boy, how do you feel now?”

Marious let out a deafening roar, her lizard-like giant eye focused intensely on Yang Yu’s every move.

After a long period of Silence, Yang Yu slowly uttered his thoughts:

”Rather... regretful.”

”I thought so, are you prepared to bear the consequences of all your actions?” Marious’ tone was icy, just like the Dragon Breath she had released.

Yang Yu lifted his head to face the giant dragon, his eyes showing no trace of fear, and spoke:

”I am rather regretful...

Regretful that I didn’t find a better way to end this war.

Even after racking my brains over and over, I couldn’t find a better method than the current one to end this war.

Eventually, I resorted to this method.”

Every word Yang Yu said was firm and strong, he took out from the System a half-torn sheet of paper with various question answers and handed it to the giant dragon.

”From the very beginning, I was prepared to bear everything.

But, it wasn’t a judgment given by the giant dragon; all my actions were within the rules set by the giant dragons.

Look, this is the sheet of paper I wrote when I questioned the giant dragon last time.

Take a look, and you’ll understand.”

The paper in Yang Yu’s hand emitted a glow, flew in front of Marious, and after reading one side, Marious flipped it to the other side.

The magic power owned by giant dragons is extremely Special, and the text written by them with Magic Power also contained their Special Magic Power.

Marious indeed could observe the Magic Power left by Bronze Dragon Owen on the paper held by Yang Yu.

Looking at the questions above, almost every question was asked quite cleverly.

Although regulations restrict the use of large-scale destructive magic and Skills, initially the rules they established did not restrict the use of auxiliary magic.

This stems from the notion that even after someone grows, they could still use auxiliary magic to help their troops gain advantage.

Using auxiliary magic or executing Attack or utilizing tools afterwards, were all entirely within the rules.

Very coincidentally, Weather Magic and Teleportation Magic both fall under auxiliary magic.

Later concerning Weather Magic, Yang Yu raised multiple questions, all revolving around how Weather Magic interacts with other things.

Because it was so comprehensive, Marious was unable to pick apart anything for a while, completely allowing Yang Yu to exploit a loophole.

After reading the previous parts, a particularly important question and answer caught Marious’ eye.

Rolling the paper, Marious looked down at Yang Yu, while Yang Yu gazed at the Dragon Eyes that could pierce him any moment, and spoke:

”I haven’t violated any rules.

Why do you dragons only allow humans to exploit loopholes in rules, but not us Subhumans?

I made my choice after confirming countless times the rules of the giant dragons.

The war has already begun, wanting to change these rules...

will only have to wait until the war is completely over.”

Marious spread her wings wide, a strong wind swept towards Yang Yu, but Yang Yu’s feet adhered firmly to the ground, unmoved.

From the Dragon Eyes emitted a burst of red light, Marious questioned:

”Then, boy, answer me, if this war hasn’t ended, would today’s events happen again?”

Yang Yu responded: ”That depends on the attitude of both the giant dragons and the Luo Ze Empire.

As those with powerful strength, you rarely interfere with this world; since I haven’t violated any rules...

You dragons just need to silently observe the battlefield as before, and inform the Luo Ze Empire of everything.

What’s left, leave it to us mere mortals.”

Marious gave no reply to Yang Yu, after hearing his response, she just flew into the high sky, without a backward glance, passing through the rift, flying back.

Yang Yu watched the smoke billowing from Benliang City, then looked at the arriving Ajiket’s troops, with somewhat heavy footsteps, walked towards the Magician at the Silver Wolf.

The rest left to Ajiket, for today...

A bit tired, should take a good rest.
