Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Two silver wolves, one strong and one thin.

The lighter silver wolf carried five masked beastman mages on its back.

The other robust silver wolf carried two elves, also masked, and from their attire, one could vaguely determine that one was an archer and the other a magician.

In front of those two elves stood a majestic man, his colorful hair flowing in the wind, a strange mask covering half of his face.

He was the Colorful-haired Masked Man.

The man who had driven the Empire to distraction.

Quickly assembling the troops, General Skaler, responsible for guarding Benliang City, involuntarily frowned.

Bringing such a small number of people to attack, does he have some kind of ingenious strategy? Or is he here to surrender to the Luo Ze Empire?

Benliang City currently has a garrison of forty thousand, and in times of crisis, it can quickly contact surrounding units for support. To think of dealing with so many with that small number is undoubtedly wishful thinking.

General Skaler didn’t think Yang Yu and his group were there to surrender, nor did he think they were there to siege the city.

While General Skaler was puzzling over this, General Wulan, dressed in armor and holding a helmet, walked up beside him and asked:

”General Skaler, how many enemies are there this time?”

General Skaler stretched out his hand, pointing at the two silver wolves gradually halting their steps.

Seeing the small number of foes on the opposite side, General Wulan looked incredulous, and then sneered disdainfully: ”Is this a joke? With just these few people, what can they do, there’s no need to gather so urgently, is there?”

General Skaler was extremely serious, responding, ”I think it’s necessary, don’t underestimate him. That leader is the Colorful-haired Masked Man, who knows what plot he might be hatching.”

After waiting for a while and seeing no additional troops appear behind Yang Yu, General Wulan relaxed his grip on his helmet and dismissed the situation, saying:

”What plot could there be? Don’t make a fuss over nothing.

If something happens, the Luo Ze garrison stationed here is more than capable of handling it.

That Colorful-haired Masked Man, the last time we ran circles around him easily.

His reputation is probably just exaggerated rumors by those who failed against him.

Though I was somewhat surprised he managed to defeat the snowman in that manner.”

”Is that how you see it? Fine. Anyway, the Empire’s honor cannot be tarnished by others, we must act cautiously to ensure everything goes without a hitch.

The appearance of the Colorful-haired Masked Man means we stick to the pre-set plan, and notify the special unit designated to eliminate him.

Keep soldiers on alert; there’s no way to guarantee this isn’t a bait.”

”As always with you. Fine, let’s treat it like a military exercise,” Wulan said, returning to his usual composed self,

while General Skaler scoffed, turning to urgently summon the liaison officer, connecting with the elite unit, and instructing the troops to keep a close watch on Yang Yu’s every move.

Jumping down from Lotcar, Yang Yu held a box containing the Memory Crystal and handed it over to the five mages waiting on the other silver wolf.

The tasks for these mages had already been arranged by Yang Yu.

Operating the Memory Crystal requires some skill, with two methods of use: Vision Recording and Magic Array Recording.

As the name implies, Vision Recording involves activating the Memory Crystal to capture everything seen by the user.

Magic Array Recording treats the constructed magic array as a camera, documenting what this ”camera” captures.

After weighing the options, Yang Yu chose the more difficult Magic Array Recording, as it could comprehensively document everything.

The five masked mages clutched the Memory Crystal, infusing it with their magic power, causing resonance.

Purple smoke rose from the Memory Crystal, forming a purple magic array above each mage’s head, and the center of the array resembled an eye.

As long as the mages slightly closed their eyes, they could connect their consciousness with the magic array.

The mages could freely adjust the direction of the magic array to record everything they wanted.

Now, each magic array was focused on Yang Yu, making him the center of attention.

Yang Yu walked to the center between Benliang City and the silver wolves without any defenses and then, as if swearing an oath, raised his hand, pointing his index finger to the sky.

With this as a signal, Bai Jin chanted magic, and several magic arrays encircled from above Yang Yu’s head, forming a pillar of light.

This was an amplification magic.

Speaking within this magic array would amplify one’s voice several times. Using this magic, Yang Yu could communicate with the Luo Ze garrison.

Yang Yu took a deep breath, then shouted loudly to deliver an ultimatum to the Luo Ze soldiers stationed in Benliang City:

”This land never belonged to you.

We will stop at nothing to reclaim the land that rightfully belongs to us.

This is your final chance, evacuate Benliang City immediately.

Otherwise, you, along with this city, might vanish forever in the river of history.

I’ll repeat once more, I’m not joking; this is your last opportunity.

I can give you five minutes.

If there’s still no response after five minutes, or you dare to act rashly, I’ll take it as...

declaring war.

”

If an ordinary officer from Wansheng Country had said this at the front, the soldiers guarding Benliang City might have laughed uproariously, forgetting themselves.

But now, it was the Colorful-haired Masked Man saying these words. His tone was extremely serious, with a hint of helplessness and sorrow in his voice.

As if rejecting him, something incredibly terrifying would happen next.

Unfortunately, General Skaler could not hand over the city to Yang Yu.

Benliang City was a city that Luo Ze Empire took a lot of time to capture; giving it up to Wansheng Country’s troops of only eight people and two silver wolves would be laughable.

Furthermore, Yang Yu’s five mages weren’t planning to fight, just to witness this historic moment.

Surrendering without a fight and having it recorded would be ridiculous.

After careful consideration, Skaler could only respond to Yang Yu with silence.

”What a pity.

Then, I apologize.

You are soldiers of the Empire; you should have some awareness.”

Even though he knew such pointless negotiations were bound to fail, Yang Yu still harbored a sliver of hope that the Luo Ze Empire might have a change of conscience.

If so, this demonic plan had to continue.

Yang Yu pointed his finger, aimed at the sky, heavily towards Benliang City, and coldly uttered two words:

”Begin.”

Upon receiving the order, Bai Jin immediately began chanting magic, crushing a piece of the [Fairy’s Magic Stone], using up all her magic power.

A massive magic array unfolded before Bai Jin’s gnarled and ancient tree-like magic wand.

Taking a deep breath, confirming the teleportation stone slab in the distant swamp remained effective, Bai Jin shot the magic array into the air above Benliang City.

The Luoze mages on the city wall immediately sprang into action; though they didn’t know what magic the other side was preparing, creating a defensive magic array seemed a prudent move.
