The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1750: Chapter 1750: What Exactly Did She Steal?

Wipe the water off your hands with a towel again.

Glancing at the student standing uneasily beside, he threw the towel back onto the lab bench and said calmly, ”When did our Pharmaceutical Association have to live by watching people’s face colors?”

Robert stood there in astonishment.

Caleb Dax then spoke proudly, ”Their mouths are on them, we can’t control it. Outsiders can say whatever they want; we just focus on doing our own thing. If you care about every little breeze or grass movement, you don’t need to do research anymore. If you can’t calm down, research is useless, and there won’t be any great achievements.”

This time, the Overseas Medical Association was really embarrassed by them. It’s said that Master Carlo began contacting other organizations in the medical field, determined to get an explanation for Caryn Zachmann.

This was also the reason Robert rushed in earlier, looking anxious.

Now, after being taught a lesson by his teacher, his restless heart calmed down immediately.

Feeling a bit ashamed, he lowered his head, and after a while, he looked up at his teacher. After hesitating several times but unable to hold his curiosity, he asked, ”Teacher, what exactly did Caryn Zachmann steal that made you so angry?”

Initially, Caleb Dax didn’t want to tell him, but seeing his genuine curiosity, and since there was nothing that couldn’t be said about the matter,

he himself despised such academic theft behavior.

There was naturally no need to cover up for a thief.

So he spoke succinctly, ”She stole Q’s formula.”

”Q?” Robert wasn’t stupid. He immediately remembered that Caryn Zachmann had been spending her days in the Book Repository at the Pharmaceutical Association and had even asked him about rare Chinese Medicine books. For a moment, he didn’t know what to say and could only murmur, ”So it’s related to Q, no wonder you’re so angry.”

Caleb Dax had the same attitude toward everyone, except for Q, whom he valued from the bottom of his heart.

Robert had been by his side for a long time and knew Caleb Dax valued Q.

But then Caleb Dax glanced at him, and with a cold look in his eyes, he corrected, ”You’re wrong. My anger has nothing to do with whose thing she stole.”

”Even if she stole a formula from an ordinary member, I’d have the same attitude. Stealing is stealing; no one in history has ever had a reason for stealing. People might have no bottom line, but academia must have one! The Pharmaceutical Association will never tolerate such people mixing in...”

Robert remained silent for a full minute, already having made his judgment in his heart. He nodded solemnly toward his teacher and said in a deep voice, ”I understand.”

He went out to reply to Caryn Zachmann and the Overseas Medical Association’s emails.

Caleb Dax watched him go out, then walked to the side, sat down in front of his old desktop computer, found the contacts, and sent a message to the person marked as Q.

It should have been a good thing for Caryn Zachmann to officially announce her joining a large, professional medical organization like the Overseas Medical Association, but so many things happening one after another made it untenable.

Especially when someone saw the Pharmaceutical Association’s statement on Instagram and posted the screenshot on Twitter, Caryn Zachmann’s joyous matter instantly became overshadowed and almost turned into a joke.

Nathalie Quinlan, after forwarding the tweet, went back to check her WhatsApp messages, went to wash up, and upon returning and opening the computer, saw the message Caleb Dax sent her.

[Z: I didn’t discuss expelling Caryn Zachmann with you earlier, but with her behavior, I certainly can’t let her stay in the association. Sorry, next time something like this happens, I’ll let you know in advance.]
