The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1733: Chapter 1733: All That Checking Was for Nothing!

He didn’t say much more, lightly withdrawing his gaze, maintaining a dismissive attitude, not taking an outsider seriously, and shifted the topic to Jaycent’s sudden return, discussing it with Zevaney and others.

...

After the banquet ended, Zevaney and a small faction behind her were investigating Nathalie Quinlan’s background and origins.

That night, other factions attending the banquet were also secretly using various connections to investigate Nathalie Quinlan’s background and identity.

If Torre being captured by the Yandor Sect caused some people in Inderia to notice Nathalie Quinlan.

Then this Kingsleys Family banquet drew even more attention from Inderia to a ’normal student’ from Tsinghua University.

But the results of their overnight investigation were not much different from what Zevaney discovered.

Nathalie Quinlan’s identity and background were as clean as can be!

She was just a girl who grew up in McKinney, entered a prestigious Beijing school after finishing high school, with average grades since childhood, suddenly buckled down in the third year, achieved unexpectedly good college entrance exam results, was admitted to Tsinghua University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department, and caught the attention of two good teachers, though one was a Chinese Medicine master and the other a Konghou master, neither related to black powder...

That’s all they could find.

The information they found was all about Nathalie Quinlan’s studies, including her life background, and Nathalie didn’t even have many friends around her.

”Could it really be a coincidence? Just a good-student girl who read a few related books in her spare time, exploring and hitting good luck by herself?”

Tonight was destined to be sleepless.

It had been a long time since anyone in Inderia caused such a stir, but this time the whole of Inderia seemed somewhat shaken, with all factions beginning to seethe under the calm surface.

The next day.

Nathalie Quinlan got up early.

She hadn’t slept well last night, had a WhatsApp video call with Amadeus Yancey until the early morning before hanging up, and before going to sleep, she went online to erase some information related to her.

Like Justin Wafford, Freddy Cagwin, them.

To prevent some people in Inderia from reaching too far, refusing to let even them go, insisting on thoroughly investigating them.

Master Cadmus and the others got up early too, packing their luggage and heading straight to the airport.

After boarding the airplane, Nathalie sent a message to Amadeus Yancey, then turned off her phone, pulled out a blindfold and earplugs, and found a comfortable pose to catch up on sleep.

The airplane was very stable, hardly encountering any turbulence along the way.

Nathalie had a restful sleep.

After more than ten hours, the airplane landed at Capital International Airport.

Master Cadmus and the others, being older, looked exhausted after disembarking and all expressed the need to go home first.

Stanley Zachmann also needed to go back to drop off his luggage, so he asked Nathalie, ”Nathalie, are you going back?”

There’s a ten-hour time difference between Inderia and Beijing.

It should be almost evening in Inderia by now.

In Beijing, it was only half past eleven in the morning, and in the October weather, the sky was clear, a breeze was blowing, the temperature was just right, over twenty degrees, with the not too hot nor too cold weather allowing for girls in long-sleeved shirts paired with short skirts everywhere.

At the airport vending machine, Nathalie bought a cup of coffee, and as she cracked open the can, passing bystanders glanced curiously in her direction.

She furrowed her brows, pulling the duckbill cap a bit lower, took a swig of iced coffee, held the can in her hand, and said indifferently, ”No, I’ve arranged to have a meal with someone, I’ll go eat first then head back.”
