The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1745: Chapter 1745: Face Slap! Official Announcement One Moment, Withdrawal the Next

”There were several video conferences held by the Association previously discussing this matter. You opposed it, but Master Carlo and some members of the Association agreed, and later on, they seemed to have bypassed us and decided on this matter directly through a vote.”

Winston Sullivan joined the Overseas Medical Association three months ago, thanks to a referral from Mr. Avalon.

As a relatively inexperienced rookie, he was usually quite aware of the happenings within the Association and assumed his teacher knew about this issue.

It was only now that he realized those in the Association not only bypassed him but did not even seek his teacher’s opinion.

”Caryn Zachmann is from Zenla. I should be proud of her for being able to enter the Association, but following Adelle Wafford in the past, we all know her level.”

”I don’t know what Master Carlo and the others mean, why they insist on bringing her in and giving her such high treatment. This behavior of the Association is somewhat unfair to others.”

The Overseas Medical Association, being a prominent face in the medical field, has always had a reputation for speaking with strength.

Everyone takes pride in joining the Association.

But Caryn Zachmann’s case indeed tarnishes the reputation of the Overseas Medical Association a bit.

While it seems like Caryn Zachmann is bringing glory to the country, once her abilities don’t match the grand entrance, from another perspective, isn’t Caryn Zachmann bringing shame to the domestic medical community?

After all, in such a professional field, without entering based on strength, it’s inherently a disrespect to the profession.

Mr. Avalon also shares this sentiment. He closed his eyes, opened them again after a while, and said, looking extremely serious: ”Wait a moment, let me contact the Overseas Medical Association first, and after I clarify the situation, I’ll speak. If necessary, I can only protect the dignity of the domestic medical community.”

Though the development of the domestic medical field has not been as rapid as overseas in recent years, it has been continuously striving to catch up.

Many have poured tremendous effort into this.

He also doesn’t want a single bad apple to spoil the whole barrel.

As an elder in the field of medicine, at the very least, he needs to show his stance and integrity.

This phone call lasted a full half an hour.

After half an hour, Mr. Avalon put down the phone with a heavy face, looking very troubled, sighed, turned to his apprentice, and said: ”Help me draft a tweet.”

Winston Sullivan, taken aback, still wanted to persuade him: ”Teacher, do you want to reconsider?”

”There’s nothing to reconsider, I’ve thought it through, help me draft it.” Mr. Avalon’s expression was poor, but his demeanor was calm and composed, without any sign of hesitation: ”Post it using the official Chinese Medicine department account.”

Winston Sullivan knew what he meant to do, looked again at him, saw that the elder had no intention of changing his mind, then steadied himself and went to carry out the task.

The news of Mr. Avalon’s resignation from the Overseas Medical Association almost explosively bombarded Twitter’s hot search.

Initially, only a portion of people paid attention to Caryn Zachmann’s official announcement of joining the Overseas Medical Association, most people were actually not very interested in these matters.

It wasn’t until less than two hours after Mr. Avalon officially announced his resignation from the Association that finally the Melon Munching Crowd caught the highlight.

”What’s going on? Is Mr. Avalon giving a face slap to Caryn Zachmann and the official Overseas Medical Association?”

”Wow, back-to-back announcements. First, it was said Caryn Zachmann was to become one of the associate council members, then Mr. Avalon withdrew. Is the Overseas Medical Association playing games, what’s happening?”

”Why do I smell the scent of insider information?”
