The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 668: Chapter 668: 100,000+ per semester with Medical Association recommended spots_1

If it weren’t for Mr. Avalon holding the honorary chairman position at the Medical Association, with just Adelle Wafford being a member of the Medical Association, there would be simply no way for the Medical Department to gain a foothold internationally.

When Southern University came to poach Nathalie Quinlan, he really started to get nervous. He watched every move of the girl closely, not daring to miss any hint of expression, and asked softly, ”Did Southern University make a phone call to you? What did they say?”

”They didn’t really say much.” Nathalie got up early in the morning and made pig liver soup for someone by hand, feeling completely exhausted. She hadn’t even had breakfast, and she thought she could go directly to eat after finding Shawn Norton, yet she was blocked here and interrogated. Her mood was chilly and dry.

But she was still okay, not doing anything impolite. Even when she grew impatient, she kept her temper and did not show any signs of dissatisfaction, ”They just said I could go to their university and study there, and they would give me a scholarship of fifty thousand per semester, plus a chance to study abroad on a government scholarship in my junior year.”

She was in need of neither of these two things.

She held no such thoughts either.

Her choice to attend university was primarily to fulfill Mr. Zachmann’s wish, and secondly, to learn from and exchange knowledge with genuine experts in Chinese Medicine.

She had never been short of money.

Fifty thousand or five hundred thousand made no substantial difference to her.

Yet, the president of Tsinghua University fell silent for a few seconds, then clenched his teeth and offered, ”Nathalie, how about this: you stay at Tsinghua University, we’ll give you a scholarship of one hundred thousand per semester, and add a prestigious recommendation from the Medical Association. How does that sound?”

Nathalie hadn’t spoken yet when Shawn Norton’s eyes lit up. He answered for her excitedly, ”That sounds great, Nathalie.”

Tsinghua University had one prestigious recommendation to offer every three years, and this recommendation was extremely valuable, the dream of every medical student.

Nathalie’s reaction was minimal, seemingly uninterested in this precious opportunity. She hummed, raised her head, and looked at Mr. Wafford with sincere eyes, pondering her words before speaking, ”Mr. Wafford.”

”Nathalie, please speak.” As soon as she opened her mouth, Mr. Wafford showed a posture of eager listening, full of sincerity, ”Apart from these two conditions, you can make any other requests you have. As long as Tsinghua University can accommodate them, we will certainly try to meet them.”

He touched his nose, glanced at Shawn Norton by his side, then turned to look at the girl in front of him, and said frankly, ”Frankly, Tsinghua University has never encountered a student with entrance exam results like yours. To show our sincerity, I didn’t send the admissions teachers to find you, thinking they might not be the best ones to discuss terms with you and that it would be more convenient for me to do so. Therefore, if you have any requests, just ask, and I will definitely meet them if I can!”

This treatment was unprecedented at Tsinghua University.

Nathalie looked up, her eyes softening, she shook her head and said, ”I don’t have any conditions. I have not thought about changing universities, and I have already declined Southern University over the phone.”

Her phone vibrated again. Nathalie paused, but didn’t look at the phone, switched it to silent mode, then looked up at the two men and said, ”Choosing Tsinghua was my own decision. Unless something unexpected happens, I won’t change my mind. If I do change my mind, it will most likely be because I decide not to go to university at all.”

’If I do change my mind, it will most likely be because I decide not to go to university at all’—spoken by someone else, such words might seem absurd and arrogant.

But coming from Nathalie Quinlan, it sounded perfectly ordinary.

She wasn’t bragging—just stating the plain truth.

”...” That simple?

The president of Tsinghua University was stunned, not expecting it to be so easy, and at first didn’t know how to react.
