Apocalypse: Goddess Catalog, Starting With Twin Sisters!

Chapter 40: Chapter 40: Goddess Bond Update

On the sofa, Mengde was grinning from ear to ear...

He hadn’t expected that once her Affinity reached 100, the Goddess Bond would be updated as well!

There wasn’t much to say about the first point.

Even without it, he believed Jiayi would never betray him.

All those ”charging sessions” over the past few days hadn’t been for nothing!

So this was just a precautionary measure, really.

The second point, Superpower Sharing and Complementation, was incredible!

First off, Superpower Sharing meant that whatever Superpowers his Goddesses had, he could have them too!

It didn’t matter if he hadn’t Awakened the Superpower himself!

He could still share and use it!

The key was that there was no limit to the number of Superpowers he could share!

If a Goddess awakened a second Superpower, he could share and use that one too!

In other words, not only could he use Jiayi’s Fire Superpower, the Phoenix Divine Fire, but his version would be even stronger!!!

After all, his Level was higher than Jiayi’s.

And as for Superpower Complementation, it meant that when his own power was depleted, he could get a refill from a Goddess with 100 Affinity!!!

This would drastically increase his usable Superpower reserves!

Conversely, when Jiayi’s Superpower ran out, she could also get a refill from him!

In short, it was a two-way street!

’As for the remarks about ”charging sessions”... hehe...’

’Even without the reward of a second Superpower, the number of those sessions is only going to go up!’

’The only thing I need to consider now is that my Superpower Level has gone up. I’m afraid one woman won’t be able to handle me anymore!’

’Mmm... for the sake of my future sexual bliss, I need to hurry up and ”develop” some other Goddesses!’

’Cheng Ying and Da Mimi’s Affinity for me has long since reached the ”ripe for the picking” stage!’

’Time to find an opportunity to log into some ”new accounts”...’

’This is also my way of indirectly relieving Jiayi’s pressure!!!’

The Viral Immunity was self-explanatory; it directly gave Jiayi an extra layer of security!

As for the fourth point—unhindered heart-to-heart communication—it would be extremely useful for coordinating with Jiayi in combat.

The two of them could achieve perfect coordination!

The key was that this coordination wasn’t just for out of the bedroom, but for *in* it, too...

”System, open my status panel!”

’Holy cow!’

The rewards for reaching 100 Affinity were incredibly generous!

His Superpower Level had jumped straight to Tier Three!

His SSS-Level Space Superpower gained a new Sub-Superpower: Spatial Instant Teleportation!

It allowed him to move freely within a 20-meter range, and the key was that the travel time was less than a second!

And then there was the shared SS-Class Fire Superpower from Jiayi...

He couldn’t wait to try it out!

His Personal Space had also expanded to one million cubic meters, equivalent to over 100 football fields!

And that was with a height of 100 meters!

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call it practically infinite!

’Telekinesis Perception, 200 meters...’

He instantly activated it, and the entire residential complex was immediately within his perception.

There were six buildings in total. Apart from Building 5, where he was, which had lights on, the other buildings were completely dark.

He estimated there were probably no living people left in them.

The only things left were likely hordes upon hordes of zombies.

Speaking of zombies, Mengde rushed to the window.

After activating his Star Night Walker skill, the sensitivity of his five senses was drastically enhanced.

Combined with his Telekinesis Perception, he suddenly discovered something among the zombie horde downstairs. He had just dealt with a batch of zombies with Awakened Superpowers during the day. Now, less than a day later, more had appeared. Not only were there Tier One zombies, but there was even a Tier Two!

’Aren’t they evolving way too fast?!’

If this kept up, it wouldn’t be long before Tier Three zombies started appearing.

A terrifying shadow loomed over his heart.

He had originally planned to go out in the next couple of days to find a suitable place to relocate.

But now, it seemed he was running out of time.

Just as he was lost in thought, a woman wrapped her arms around him from behind.

Such a generous bosom...

So much so that he could feel their pressing weight even against his back...

He turned around and saw it was Jiayi.

She was wearing a nightgown, revealing her long, beautiful legs...

Just standing there, she was both sexy and alluring...

’Awakening a Superpower really makes a difference. Her recovery has improved, too...’

’Before, I’d have called it a loss if she could even crawl out of bed!’

”Hehe, all recovered?”

Seeing that he was about to get handsy again, Jiayi quickly stopped him.

”Don’t...”

’Is he kidding?’ she thought. ’Even though I awakened a Superpower and I’m a bit better than before, there’s no way I could recover that fast!’

”Hahaha!”

”I’m just kidding!”

’If I don’t dote on my own woman, who will?’

He held Jiayi and sat on the sofa. Before Mengde could speak, Jiayi, nestled in his arms, spoke first.

”What’s wrong? You look so worried.”

Jiayi realized that after her Superpower Awakening, she seemed to have formed an invisible connection with him.

She could vaguely sense that he was troubled by something.

In truth, Mengde didn’t need to say much. Now that Jiayi had her own Awakened Superpower, she’d be able to sense it herself come morning.

So he went ahead and told her about the mutated zombies downstairs.

What he hadn’t expected was that she would solve a problem he’d been struggling with in a single sentence.

”I think when it comes to finding a new place, you should ask Sister Ying!”

???

Seeing Mengde’s confusion, Jiayi reached out a slender finger and tapped his forehead.

”Before the apocalypse, Sister Ying was a real estate agent, wasn’t she?”

Her words were like a bolt from the blue!!!

’Leave it to the professionals!’

Before she became an internet celebrity, the widowed Cheng Ying had worked in real estate.

’To find a place to move, why not just ask the real estate expert, Cheng Ying!’

’And Da Mimi... as Hua Country’s top actress, she was a bona fide rich girl.’

’She must have properties all over the country!’

’Any one of them would do as a temporary base!’

Mengde had been so busy he’d gotten muddle-headed.

How could he have overlooked something so important!

Soon, the six of them were gathered together.

Cheng Ying and Da Mimi, the two best friends, unanimously suggested a perfect place to relocate.

Yulong Island!!!
