Apocalypse: Goddess Catalog, Starting With Twin Sisters!

Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Don’t, It’s Still Daytime...

Mengde had already braced himself for the worst-case scenario. If he couldn’t win over the older sister, he’d just try his luck with the younger one.

One doted on her sister, the other on her ”brother.”

’Between these two sisters, I have to get at least one of the system’s rewards.’

’Letting either of them go would be a terrible waste!’

But in the next moment, he saw Chen Jiayi suddenly throw herself into his arms.

”Mengde, thank you!”

”I’m willing to be your woman!”

’Score!’

Feeling the delicate, trembling body crying in his arms, he couldn’t resist cradling the back of her head and lowering his to have a taste.

’Silky and soft...’

Chen Jiayi was a complete novice at this, clumsy and inexperienced...

After a full two minutes, Chen Jiayi felt like she was about to suffocate. As Mengde’s hands grew bolder, she hastily pushed him away.

”Stop... it’s... it’s still daytime...”

Chen Jiayi was flushed, her breathing still ragged.

[Ding! Congratulations, Host. Goddess Chen Jiayi’s Affinity has increased by 10. Current Affinity: 50!]

Although Mengde was left wanting more, he didn’t press the issue. She was already in the bag, so there was no need to rush.

”Take these snacks to Yaoyao first. She must be starving.”

”I’ll go make a couple more dishes.”

”Let’s eat well tonight.”

Since they were heading out tomorrow anyway, Mengde took out all the food he had.

Then, he pulled the woman before him into his arms and whispered in her ear.

”Wash up nicely tonight. I’ll be waiting for you in my room...”

His words made Chen Jiayi’s face burn, but she still gave a slight nod.

A soft ”mhm” was all the confirmation he needed. Her bashful expression made Mengde reluctant to let her go....

It was the best and most filling meal the two sisters had eaten since the apocalypse began. They ate until they were stuffed.

Meanwhile, an oblivious Chen Jiayao was overcome with gratitude for Mengde.

”Wow! Brother De is so good to us sisters!”

”When I get the chance, I have to repay him properly.”

”Sis, don’t you think so?”

Seeing her little sister so happy made her happy too.

She dotingly stroked her sister’s hair and nodded.

”Mhm! Don’t worry, I’m here. I’ll be the one to repay your Brother De.”

’And that repayment starts tonight...’

Thinking about what was to happen that night, Chen Jiayi hesitated for a moment but decided against saying anything.

’It’s better if Yaoyao doesn’t know. I’ll tell her tomorrow,’ Chen Jiayi thought to herself.

Soon, night fell. In the room next door, Mengde had stopped his blade practice. He was heading out tomorrow, so he needed to rest and build up his strength.

Perhaps because some restraint had been unleashed during the day, he was feeling particularly vigorous. Even a few cold showers did nothing to help.

’Easy there, buddy. Don’t worry, you’ll get your release soon enough.’

KNOCK KNOCK!

At the two soft knocks, Mengde shot up and threw open the door.

There, standing prettily in the doorway, was Chen Jiayi.

Her hair fell over her shoulders, her eyes shimmering. She wore a light blouse paired with a gray, A-line pleated skirt, perfectly accentuating her slender waist.

The sliver of skin visible at her collar was as smooth as porcelain, and a faint, alluring fragrance emanated from her. The fresh scent of her newly bathed body washed over him, utterly intoxicating.

Black stockings hugged her shapely legs, and a pair of high heels made her appear even taller.

This was the outfit Mengde had specifically requested earlier that day. He hadn’t expected her to actually go through with it.

”Do I look good?”

Her red lips, on her carefully made-up face, parted slightly. Her voice flowed into his ears, as crisp and clear as falling pearls.

Those simple words were like a catalyst, setting Mengde ablaze.

He swept her up into his arms without a moment’s hesitation...

”Mmm... wait, wait...”

Blushing, Chen Jiayi pressed her hands against Mengde’s chest.

”This... won’t affect you heading out tomorrow, will it...?”

”If it will... I can wait for you...”

To think she was worried about tiring him out for tomorrow. Mengde decided to prove it with his actions: ’My stamina is far greater than you can possibly imagine!’

”Mengde, from now on, my sister and I are in your care... Mph...”

Her words were cut off in the next second.

”Don’t worry!”

”I’ll take good care of you and Yaoyao from now on...”

With that, Mengde mounted her, becoming a Dragon Knight...

[Ding! Congratulations, Host. You have successfully unlocked Goddess Chen Jiayi’s exclusive entry in the Goddess Catalogue!]

As the Zhou Gong’s Ceremony continued, a series of system prompts rang out in Mengde’s mind. An entry in the Goddess Catalogue began to materialize before his eyes, growing clearer by the second.

At the very top was a ”Goddess” photo of Chen Jiayi in an office lady uniform with black stockings.

Innate OL Saint Body!

Below that was the information for her exclusive Goddess Catalogue entry.

[Goddess: Chen Jiayi (Innate OL Saint Body)]

[Identity: Urban Professional]

[Age: 26]

[Height/Weight: 168cm / 48kg]

[Measurements: 82-58-84]

[Overall Rating: 96]

[Affinity: 70]

[Times ’Charged’: 1] (First Glimpse)

[Superpower Level: Awaiting Awakening (Progress: 70%)]

[Note: Superpower will be awakened when Affinity reaches 100 and a certain number of ’charging’ sessions are completed.]

[Details: An elite urban professional. An ultimate sis-con who raised her younger sister by herself, viewing it as her sole mission in life. However, once completely conquered by the Host (Affinity 100), she will become entirely dependent on him. The higher the Affinity, the greater the dependency.]

Being such a diligent student, Mengde naturally understood what those ”basic parameters” referred to.

’Truly worthy of the title of Goddess!’

’That body is incredible!’

Mengde was thrilled!

He subconsciously quickened his pace.

But what excited him even more was yet to come.

’After all this effort, I’ve finally unlocked my first entry in the Goddess Catalogue!’

’What kind of reward will I get for unlocking a Goddess with an overall rating of 96?’

[Ding! Congratulations Host, you have obtained the SSS-Level Space Superpower—King of Space. Superpower Level has been raised to Tier One!]

He drew a sharp breath.

’Time is revered, but Space is king!’

’A Space Superpower!!!’

While Mengde kept up his rhythm, Chen Jiayi bit her lip hard, trying not to make a sound.

’Heh!’

’She’s surprisingly shy!’

At the same time, he noticed a mysterious silver energy slowly pouring into his mind, where it formed a silver crystal the size of a grain of rice.

Though small, Mengde could sense its extraordinary power.

Simultaneously, Mengde could feel a mysterious energy from the air being absorbed into his body.

He, who had never had any sense of space before, could now feel a ”wall.”

A wall made of space itself.

He reached out to grab it, and his hand closed around something soft, smooth, and round...

He almost couldn’t get a full grip...

’Hm... wait a second...’

’Alright, grabbed the wrong thing...’

Ahem...

But Mengde could indeed feel a mysterious energy swirling around him, and he now felt a strange affinity for space itself...

However, at his current Tier One Superpower Level, the range of space he could affect was not very large.

Within this range, he gained the ability to manipulate objects.

With a simple grasping motion, any object within that range would fly directly into his hand!

’Damn, isn’t this just the Superpower version of the Absorption Technique!’

’Here I am in an Otherworld... have I just put some guy named Chong out of a job?’

But the rewards for unlocking his first Goddess weren’t over yet!

[Ding! Congratulations, Host. You have successfully established a bond with Goddess Chen Jiayi!]

’A Goddess Bond?’
