Quick Transmigration: The Cannon Fodder's Comeback in the Era Tales

Chapter 690: Chapter 690: The First Wife Sold by Her Husband 36

Not many pickles were sold, but all the cold dishes were sold out.

This also boosted Wang San’s business.

The wood ear mushrooms Wang San sourced, half of them were bought by Second Brother Wang.

Of course, Wang San didn’t charge him retail price; he added only five cents per pound on top of the purchase price, which was five cents cheaper than the retail price. This was an intermediary price set by Yuan Chun.

You can’t always let Wang San work for Second Brother Wang for free.

Once or twice is fine, but if it happens too often, it will definitely affect their brotherly relationship. Even if the brothers don’t say anything, their wives could become unhappy.

Yuan Chun didn’t want their business dealings to cause a fallout between the brothers.

It was unnecessary, and not worthwhile.

Just like that, the eight siblings along with Yuan Chun stayed busy in the county until December 28th, where even the least-earning Second Brother Wang made 160 yuan.

In just half a month.

During a time when a worker’s monthly salary was thirty to forty yuan, Second Brother Wang and his wife made 160 yuan in just two weeks, and they were overjoyed.

And they were the ones among the five siblings who made the least.

Wang San and his wife made the most, earning over 500 yuan.

Brother Wang also earned nearly 328 yuan.

Yuan Chun’s braised meat shop should have earned the most, but since it was a joint venture between two families, the profits were split in half, leaving Yuan Chun with 310 yuan.

The Wang siblings all made money and returned home with bags full of goods. Mr. Wang and Wang Mu received clothes, cigarettes, alcohol, and shoes from their children.

The kids received a multitude of snacks.

The Wang family’s new year was grand and joyful.

On the eighth day after the new year, Yuan Chun set off to the south, where she bought a large batch of electronic watches, radios, jeans, and other items from various factories. She then flew to the Imperial City, and under 007’s guidance, found the former black market leaders and sold all her goods to them at wholesale price.

Afterward, she went to Yangcheng to restock, then visited Shanghai, Capital City, Ancient City, Wudu, and many other major cities, specifically seeking out the former black market leaders to wholesale her goods.

After a few rounds, Yuan Chun earned over a hundred thousand yuan.

The last time, Yuan Chun returned to the county with two hundred thousand yuan worth of goods and opened an electronics store, a clothing store, and a shoe store.

She hired a granddaughter-in-law of Third Granny, a granddaughter-in-law of Fifth Granny, two granddaughter-in-laws of Grandpa Qi, as well as nieces-in-law from Uncle Five and Uncle Three, hiring a total of six people to manage the stores and paid them a monthly salary of fifty yuan.

At that time, workers didn’t have such high salaries.

Moreover, Yuan Chun also offered them commissions.

For each piece of clothing or pair of shoes sold, they would get a commission of fifty cents, and commissions for electronics were given based on a percentage.

Because Yuan Chun’s electronics store, clothing store, and shoe store were the first private shops in the county, business was booming with crowds of people that couldn’t even get in.

Especially for electronics, no coupons were needed and they were cheaper than in department stores. Those who had money but no coupons and wanted to buy TVs, fans, and radios were now scrambling to make purchases.

An entire room of electronics in Yuan Chun’s shop was sold out in less than three days.

The clothing and shoe stores also had booming business, with daily revenue of several thousand yuan.

After selling off this batch of electronics, Yuan Chun said to her four brothers, ”You’ve seen how profitable the electronics and clothing stores are. I can earn in one day what you guys can’t earn in a year. Do you want to buy a share?”
