If you ask how could Lie Fan know that it was Wang Yun who caused this because Lie Fan knows that the only man who can do this is Chang’An is Wang Yun, as the others are either too incompetent or Dong Zhuo’s lapdog. But thinking about Lu Lingqi, Lie Fan can say confidently that Lu Lingqi’s bravery and boldness truly make him admire her.

Lie Fan actually admires women like Lu Lingqi and Cai Wenji, they can shine bright in this era where men have the highest authority, while women are only to serve their husbands and children.

They fight against oppression and be remembered in the future but of course, their cause in Lie Fan’s previous life was wasted due to the wrong movement marginalizing what equality truly means.

Thinking of Lu Lingqi’s short hair and those bright brown eyes when she fiercely stared at him, Lie Fan was entranced by the thought and soon shook his head to get that out of his mind.

He smiled bitterly as his needs increased since his strength and vitality attributes increased, Diao Chan and Cai Wenni at first were happy that Lie Fan accompanied them at night, trying to have a baby but after some time they dodged Lie Fan because they were too tired and sore.

Ying Yue is pregnant and Lie Fan can’t do anything to her, as he will be too rough which can hurt the baby. He can only contain that raging need, by doing some cultivation using Taichi exercise to calm down his mind.

Lie Fam has spread the Taichi exercise to his retainers, telling them to spread it to all people as it can calm down the mind and increase their prowess steadily. This exercise was named the Lie Fan’s Martial Method by the people who used it, especially Lie Fan’s soldiers.

Lie Fan then continued doing his paperwork, inspecting some documents, and approving what he thought was a good proposal. While doing all of this, Mi Zhu and Wang Lang entered his office.

Seeing the two of them, Lie Fan asked them if there was any news about the cement project and Mi Zhu replied to him saying that the Cement had been invented. Lie Fan looks up at Mi Zhu and Wang Lang, praising them for their accomplishment.

Mi Zhu told Lie Fan that he deemed the cement was a success as they had built a series of stone fences coated with the cement, which was more sturdy than the wooden fences for the Horse Farm.

Seeing the success, Mi Zhu now has ordered more to be made, and the Horse Farm project is ongoing, being constructed in a large plain between Xiapi and Xiaopei, Mi Zhu also told Lie Fan then he hired some mercenaries to become guards for now.

Wang Lang then continued by saying that, the equipment and tools needed for the horse farm had also been ordered, and expert horse breeders have been recruited to handle the farm.

Lie Fan nods his head, he asks how long will the construction take, to which Mi Zhu replies that they need about 2 months, as they will build a pretty big farm, which needs a large space of land, meaning many fences and buildings.

Lie Fan: ”Okay that’s good! Keep an eye on the project, relay my order for Zhu Ran, Zhu Jun’s son to be a leader of 1,000 men of the Guard Battalion to oversee the area of the Horse Farm.”

Mi Zhu: ”Yes My Lord, even though I have hired some mercenaries, having our own men guarding it increases my confidence.”

Wang Lang: ”What Mi Zhu said is true, while mercenaries are skilled sometimes they are useless and not trustworthy, but with the lack of manpower we have now that’s our only option.”

Lie Fan: ”I agree with the two of you, that’s why we need to expand more soldiers. Each major town and medium-sized town army can’t be tampered with as they are charged to defend the town.”

Mi Zhu: ”Then My Lord do we need to allocate more money and resources to increase the amount of recruits we can receive?”

Lie Fab: ”No need, what I want is quality and not quantity, that’s why our recruitment was very strict, 150,000 high-quality soldiers can defeated twice its size or even three times its size.”

Mi Zhu and Wang Lang nodded their heads, they are a scholar and merchant, and even though they have dabbled in learning some military matters, it’s only the basics and can’t be compared with Chen Deng and Bu Zhi whose skills are worse than Jia Xu, Xun You, and Chen Qun.

Lie Fan dismisses the two of them, then stands up and goes toward the balcony of his office, where he can see all parts of Xiapi from here. Xiapi is slowly turning into a jewel he crafted carefully with care, as he will make this place safer than Luoyang.

After some time, Lie Fan decided to head home and do some cultivation. He brought some cultivation pills, spent some SP, and then began his exercise.

While Lie Fan was doing some Taichi exercises, Ying Yue, Diao Chan, and Cai Wenji were sitting on the pavilion, where they could see Lie Fan exercising seriously.

Ying Yue: ”Sisters you know husband has been doing this since young, training his martial arts and physique but this is an exercise I haven’t seen him do before.”

Diao Chan: ”Little Sister Yue, how could you not know the famous Lie Fan’s martial arts method who is famous among Husband retainers and soldiers?”

Cai Wenji: ”Wow really? I didn’t expect that Husband even made a Martial Arts style by himself.”

Diao Chan: ”We’ll it’s not a martial art, more like exercises but from what I heard, It can also be used for fighting, where it’s more on the defensive side, countering enemies attack.”

Ying Yue: ”Fufufu Our husband is truly unique, I don’t know how well our child is like having the gene of their father.”

Diao Chan: ”Little Sister Yue your face is glowing with motherhood again! I wanted to be like you, but my Husband is too aggressive and he wants to do it every day.”

Cai Wenji: ”That’s right, I feel my body tired and sore everywhere after just 5 days. Since returning from battling Dong Zhuo, his needs have grown larger.”

Ying Yue, Diao Chan, and Cai Wenji’s faces were red at the same time, thinking of their husbands’ powerful movements at night, especially when he asked them to do some positions that they had never known before.

Ying Yue turned her head to keep on looking at Lie Fan, seeing the serious face that Lie Fan had right now made her fascinated with this man all over again.

Hearing the complaints from Diao Chan and Cai Wenji, she thinks that maybe Lie Fan should have more concubines as his needs have truly grown. Since Diao Chan and Cai Wenji became Lie Fan’s concubine, she has slowly changed her way of view on love.

She can see that the two women truly loved Lie Fan, and Lie Fan loved them back, just like how her relationship with Lie Fan was. At first, she was sad, sad that Lie Fan had another woman apart from her, as who doesn’t want to be the only woman in the life of the man she loved.

That’s what she thought at first, but after spending some time with Diao Chan and then Cai Wenji, she feels like she has Sisters that she can rely on. Her parents passed away a long time ago, the only families she knew were Lie Fan and his family.

Even then Lie Fan’s family was more of her masters at the time, as she was serving as the maid of the Lie Clan. Through the years, she slowly changed from Lie Fan’s maid to his love interest, and then his wife.

She thought of Wannian as a sister to her, but she couldn’t feel the closeness she had now with Diao Chana and Cai Wenji toward Wannian, maybe because she is still a child and it’s her who takes care of Wannian and not the way around.

Ying Yue: ”Sisters, I think our Husband should add one more concubine, what do you think?”

Diao Chan: ”Littke Sister Yue are you sure? I mean husband is already busy enough and needs to split his time to spent them with the three of us.”

Cai Wenji: ”What Sister Chan said is true, but Sister Yie also has some good points. The three of us alone can’t handle our Husband’s needs, adding one more maybe can even the odds.”

Diao Chan: ”It’s not the three of us, but the two of us. But even if Little Sister Yue had given birth to Little Fruit, she still needed to recuperate, and by then the two of us would bear the brunt.”

Ying Yue is amused by what Diao Chan said, she lets out a giggle which is soon followed by Diao Chan and Cai Wenji. The three of them shared the same thought right now, how ridiculous their topic of conversation are thinking of adding more women for their husband.

After laughing for some time, they changed their topics and talked about Lu Lingqi, Lu Bu’s daughter who is famous now around the world as the first female warrior in the Han Empire.

They were talking about how Lu Lingqi is very brave and their role model, dating to contend with men one-on-one, even though physically women are weaker than men. She even dared to duel their husband, who they knew was very strong.

The three women talked happily, Lie Fan who is exercising sometimes turned his head toward their direction. Seeing how happy they were made him happy, and he hoped that this happiness would last forever.

Lie Fan keeps exercising until Late Afternoon, at that time his wives have gone inside to do other activities. Lie Fan takes a shower to clean himself up and then goes toward his study.

In his study, Lie Fan is thinking of another staple food that could replace rice as it takes a long time for rice to enter harvest season which slows the progress of increasing its supply.

While he was thinking about that, suddenly he remembered potatoes from his past life. Potatoes can be grown anywhere, but the only problem is there are no potatoes here in ancient China.

Potatoes were introduced to China during the Ming Dynasty, which was many thousands of years in the future. He thought that maybe he could check the System store, maybe he sells potato seeds and even Coffee seeds which originated from another country just like potatoes.

Searching in the system store, he finally found potatoes and coffee seeds, the seed packs were about 25 Kilograms each but they had different prices. For potatoes is 70,000 SP and for Coffee is 125,000 SP. Seeing the prices Lie Fan gritted his teeth, and bought 2 packs of potatoes and 1 pack of coffee seeds spending 265,000 SP which was a large spending.
