Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The rest of the matters here are up to others to handle; he is just waiting to inspect the results.

He needs to attend to some other matters right now.

For instance, check the status of the two Mechanical Race cruisers he captured.

After all weapons on the two captured Mechanical Race cruisers were dismantled, they were now linked to the Dusk core data lines and controlled by Chen Ming.

After several rounds of teleportation, they were sent back to Chen Ming’s exploration base.

One was the cruiser that had previously seized the goods, and the other was a cruiser protected by other ones, now quietly floating in the orbit of the planet at Chen Ming’s exploration base, awaiting Chen Ming’s inspection.

The reason Chen Ming came this time was precisely for the cruiser that had seized his goods.

So now, his attention was directly focused on this cruiser.

This cruiser, belonging to the Mechanical Race, is somewhat different from the standard level cruisers of the Mechanical Race. It had undergone some modifications, adding a device for capturing objects drifting in the cosmic environment.

Inside this device, the cargo holds that Chen Ming had lost lay intact without exception.

The interior of these cargo holds also remained intact, with a large number of energy crystal crabs in frozen hibernation, all quietly placed inside, awaiting further handling.

It seems there’s no need to worry about the Mechanical Race obtaining Energy Crystal technology.

Even if they scanned the cargo holds and discovered the peculiarities of Energy Crystals, they wouldn’t be able to obtain this species of energy crystal crabs in a short time.

After all, the remaining energy crystal crabs are either with Dusk or in Chen Ming’s possession.

The ones with Chen Ming were just lost.

The ones with Dusk... As long as the Mechanical Race isn’t foolish, they wouldn’t start a conflict with Dusk on the eve of impending war with the Empire.

The Mechanical Race in this Star Realm can’t compare in war potential to the Empire.

Fighting on two fronts or even multiple fronts would definitely spell their doom.

So, for the time being, Chen Ming shouldn’t have to worry much about these issues.

As for how this batch of energy crystal crabs should be handled...

Chen Ming’s Giant Level is currently on its way to the Empire.

He planned to use Spiritual Energy to directly send them to the Giant Level, just saying that the following ship caught up and stuffed the stolen goods back on board.

After all, no one saw it.

This is what Chen Ming thought, and he did it immediately.

The cargo holds housing the frozen energy crystal crabs instantly disappeared from in front of Chen Ming.

They appeared in the empty spaces of the cargo holds on that Giant Level.

In that instant, thousands of creatures were transmitted through the Crimson Dimension, still causing some pressure on Chen Ming’s Spiritual Power.

Luckily, Chen Ming just discovered that when creatures are in a frozen state, the need for conscious protection is not significant, so he wouldn’t exhaust his Spiritual Power by sending one batch.

After sending off the energy crystal crabs,

Chen Ming specifically observed the capture device on the cruiser that seized the energy crystal crabs.

Not to examine the structure of this thing, but to look at the installation time of this device.

By comparing this device with other devices on these Mechanical Race cruisers that are prone to wear and tear and evaluating the specific wear conditions,

Chen Ming could confirm that this device was certainly installed during later modifications.

Furthermore, the modification time was quite recent, within the past month.

This couldn’t possibly be a modification for the Mechanical Race to salvage space debris.

After all, using combat model cruisers for salvage is as ludicrous as going fishing underwater with an anti-tank rocket launcher fitted with a bayonet.

So, Chen Ming always believed that this must be something the Mechanical Race prepared in advance as a countermeasure against him.

But he still doesn’t understand how the Mechanical Race determined the position his fleet would take, or how they found his fleet.

Just relying on that outpost?

And why did this outpost end up so far from the Mechanical Race Star Realm?

Last time the Mechanical Race ventured out, the distance was typically less than half a Star Realm, yet this time it actually extended outward by an entire Star Realm?

This strange sign made Chen Ming suspect that the Mechanical Race had another agenda, and whether this agenda was aimed at him?

Chen Ming’s fleet was exploring, occasionally finding scattered Mechanical Race members on some planets.

Chen Ming couldn’t determine whether these Mechanical Race members maintained contact with those in the Mechanical Race Star Realm.

Whether they’ve transmitted the exploration circumstances back to the Mechanical Race Star Realm’s Mechanical Race.

Unable to ascertain also means being unable to deny comprehensively, and matters not entirely deniable have the possibility of occurring.

Thus, Chen Ming highly suspects the Mechanical Race discovered his fleet and is preparing to seize the opportunity to destroy the fleet, even going after Chen Ming himself.

After all, they are not Dusk; they wouldn’t have greedy intentions to use the Spirit Awakening Nerve Extractor to extract his Enlightenment Nerve.

To the Mechanical Race, anything obstructing their existence is destined for complete eradication.

Combining this with all the preparations the Mechanical Race has made this time,

Chen Ming genuinely feels there’s a significant likelihood that the Mechanical Race is plotting an action against him.

As for the reason,

Chen Ming just mentioned morale issues with Bai Quan.

Achieving results behind enemy lines before the war starts is beneficial to soldiers’ morale.

Though the Mechanical Race harbors extreme hatred towards humans, they’re not entirely ignorant about humans and understand the importance of morale to them.
