Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

But if the actions are delayed, the Mechanical Race will have a greater chance of understanding the Energy Crystal technology.

Chen Ming’s current level is about the same as a second-year student, of course, he can’t make such pure strategic considerations, which is why he came to ask him.

No time to think more or to ask others for their opinions.

Bai Quan must respond now.

However, he thought for a moment and said: ”I feel that even if I give an opposing opinion here, there’s a high probability you’ll take action anyway, just in a more discreet manner.”

Indeed.

Chen Ming responded in his heart.

He has already dispatched the newly arrived support fleet to locate the Mechanical Race’s temporary base.

After all, he doesn’t really know the situation of the Mechanical Race’s base, so he must be prepared to pursue at the first moment and then decide whether to act based on the final investigation results.

Of course, his fleet’s tracking is not relying on the traces of the Mechanical Race’s fleet’s warp jumps.

After all, any tracking method known to him cannot be unknown to the Mechanical Race; if he follows the warp trace, he’d surely fall into the Mechanical Race’s ambush.

Thus, the specific location of the Mechanical Race base has to be determined by Chen Ming through his Spiritual Energy’s perception of the similar Hive Mind Network.

As long as he follows his intuition, he can find the hometown of the Mechanical Race.

Bai Quan is well aware of Chen Ming’s thoughts, any loss will generally be made up for.

Chen Ming understands very well that as long as there isn’t deep hatred, a person who has had a conflict with him can resolve many issues simply by offering compensation and sincerely apologizing.

But the Mechanical Race cannot provide compensation, so Chen Ming will definitely think of hitting back hard against them.

Bai Quan has no objection to this: ”So, as far as I’m concerned, you can go.”

”The Empire has started its initial skirmishes with the Mechanical Race in the second reconnaissance phase, despite so many reconnaissance operations, the Mechanical Race isn’t blind.”

”Even if clashes occur with the Mechanical Race, as long as it’s not a large-scale war between the Empire and the Mechanical Race Star Realm, that kind of place can be fought freely.”

With Bai Quan’s endorsement, everything Chen Ming does next is backed by Bai Quan, and of course, he has to bear all responsibilities.

But while bearing the responsibility, he can also enjoy the rights and benefits that come from the responsibility.

The worst outcome of handling this matter is Chen Ming leaking Energy Crystal technology to the Mechanical Race,

and provoking a war between the Empire and the Mechanical Race ahead of time, which is impossible.

Wars never start because of a single person; if it seems like they do, it’s just because that person is standing at the forefront of the times.

And if this matter is handled well, then the final outcome might be the preemptive defeat of the Mechanical Race’s plan to continue expansion and secure a retreat path for themselves.

”But can you fight them?”

Chen Ming thought about the last time when he attacked a colony of the Mechanical Race,

back then, his mastery of cruiser technology was not high, far from being able to build cruisers by hand.

He had to rely on several Dusk cores and cruisers acquired in various ways to fight the Mechanical Race.

Back then, he dared to fight, and he could fight, and he can still now.

Speaking of which,

Chen Ming remembers the last time he attacked the Mechanical Race colony, the Mechanical Race intended to surround his spaceship with a fleet.

As a result, this fleet was directly taken out by a suddenly appearing Phase Giant Beast.

It’s been a long time since the last incident; I wonder if the Phase Giant Beast has been taken down by the Mechanical Race, and whether he will encounter it again this time?

It’s too far away, shouldn’t be possible.

Chen Ming dismissed the strange thought, responding to Bai Quan with somewhat restrained words: ”Only observing their attacking fleet, yes I can fight, but specifically have to wait; once I confirm their base’s location, we’ll talk.”

”Alright.”

”Can you send back the real-time video later? If there’s footage, we can also help analyze some situations from here.”

After considering, Chen Ming said: ”Sure.”

In this operation, the Insect Queen will not appear, because it is still evolving.

Even if it’s not evolving, it’s not suitable to appear.

After all, this raid on the Mechanical Race’s base is an emergency mission, aiming for efficiency, requiring the capture of the Mechanical Race’s base in a short period.

The Insect Queen needs time to develop before it can attack.

By the time the Insect Queen has developed, the matter is already over.

So, since the Insect Queen is not involved, sharing some Mechanical Race information isn’t hard.

With Chen Ming’s reply, Bai Quan knows what he has to do next.

”Then I’ll go notify a few people here, discuss the next steps, we’ll assist you, and try to capture the Energy Crystal Crab.”

Communication ended.

Bai Quan goes to make contact.

Chen Ming also shifted his attention to the fleet searching for the Mechanical Race base.

While preparing the reinforcement fleet, Chen Ming organized the largest possible scale fleet under his current control.

Except HR, who is responsible for defense.

Brilliant, Radiant, Flashing, and Extraordinary are all piloting warships.

Plus the nine cruisers Chen Ming can control himself, forming a fleet of thirteen cruisers.

Regarding the composition of these cruisers,

Chen Ming did not bring the Defenders or standard cruisers of the Mechanical Race he previously captured.

Besides letting Brilliant pilot the Brilliant Level, Radiant pilot the Radiance Level, Flashing pilot the Flashing Level, and Extraordinary pilot the Supreme Point Level.
