Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Prevent the fleet from leaving Superspace or using the Superspace Navigation Teleportation Engine.

And the regular teleportation engine is blocked by the Mechanical Race from both front and rear.

If it were in the normal universe environment, Chen Ming’s ship could easily fly out in no time.

But now, his fleet is in the Superspace.

Only a narrow channel is the only space where movement is possible.

The surroundings of the channel are all high-density channel clouds.

The Mechanical Race indeed only needs to block this section of the channel.

Unless Chen Ming directly charges into the cloud, bypasses the blockade of the Mechanical Race’s fleet, and attempts to escape.

But obviously, there are problems with that approach too.

The flashing hyperspace lightning in the Superspace channel cloud will, when hitting the ship, create turbulence in the ship’s circuit network and signal network.

This turbulence will greatly hinder the normal operation of the equipment, disrupting the stability of all systems.

Of course, this also includes the teleportation system.

The ship cannot teleport within the Superspace channel.

In other words.

If Chen Ming can’t get rid of the tracking by the Mechanical Race’s fleet and can’t find the channel within the cloud, then his fleet will always be damaged by the lightning within the cloud.

Once the fleet is lost within the Superspace channel cloud, the consequences are unimaginable.

But corresponding to the risk of getting lost is the battle of one cruiser against more than twenty cruisers.

Clearly, compared to the threat of the Superspace channel, the fleet of the Mechanical Race is more terrifying.

It’s still necessary to prioritize retreating into the cloud and wait for reinforcements to arrive.

Chen Ming had already informed several Alpha Level Dusks to prepare for battle as soon as he received the news.

Now the distance from the cargo fleet to the temporary stronghold is just one extreme teleportation away.

As long as reinforcements from Chen Ming’s side arrive, they can fight.

Just delay for five minutes, give him five minutes to assemble the fleet, and he can eliminate the attacking Mechanical Race.

Under Chen Ming’s control, the Giant Level with its escort fleet plunged directly into the Superspace cloud beside the channel, enduring countless lightning strikes, hiding within the cloud.

And at the same time Chen Ming did this, he had another thought in his mind.

That is, when necessary, he actually has another option:

Abandon this batch of Energy Crystal Crabs, dismantle the fleet, and send the Dusk core away.

Why abandon the Energy Crystal Crabs instead of sending them away like the Dusk core is a simple reason.

Although Chen Ming can already teleport organisms, transporting beings uses the Crimson Dimension’s channel, and any being requires two conditions to pass through the Crimson Dimension safely.

One is that it hasn’t undergone dimension infection.

The other is to be in an unconscious state, or be in a state where their external perception is blocked by Chen Ming’s Spiritual Energy,

to prevent drowning in the ocean of knowledge passing through the Crimson Dimension,

The former is quite an easy condition to achieve, but the latter requires Chen Ming to spend a massive amount of Spiritual Power to protect these beings.

The entire fleet’s cargo hold is stuffed with over a hundred thousand Energy Crystal Crabs, wanting to preserve them all would drain Chen Ming’s Spiritual Power dry.

Even preserving just a portion would be taxing enough for him.

And if only a small portion is preserved, Chen Ming might as well wait for the next cargo ship to deliver.

So as long as Chen Ming doesn’t want to lose these Energy Crystal Crabs, he can only endure the potential losses to the ship from the channel cloud or the fleet of the Mechanical Race.

He chose to endure it.

And right after Chen Ming rushed into the cloud, the Mechanical Race crazily followed his fleet into the cloud.

Even more exaggerated is that the Mechanical Race prepared mechanical exploration equipment on one cruiser to clear the Superspace channel cloud layer.

Even though Chen Ming’s fleet entered the cloud first, the Mechanical Race fleet following up quickly caught up.

The high-density channel cloud will impede the speed of ships traversing within it.

This makes it impossible for Chen Ming, who is navigating through the cloud, to shake off the Mechanical Race fleet equipped with mechanical exploration equipment at the rear.

In just over a minute, Chen Ming’s fleet was caught up in the range of the rear Mechanical Race fleet.

He was forced to activate the shield at the ship’s rear to block the firepower from behind.

Fortunately, the Mechanical Race only installed exploration equipment on one cruiser, they can only open a passage wide enough for at most seven cruisers at a time.

Seven cruisers, compared to the previous dozen, is nearly half the pressure reduced at once.

As long as the shield and armor take turns bearing the damage from behind, relying on Chen Ming’s high-speed repair abilities, it’s barely possible to maintain the ship from being destroyed facing concentrated fire from seven cruisers.

However, the Mechanical Race’s fleet attacking this time includes not only cruisers.

They also have those jump ships.

In the Superspace channel, all ships and everything have a maximum speed limit.

And this speed limit is related to mass, the larger the mass, the smaller the attainable speed limit.

The speed limit that cruisers’ mass cannot reach is evidently far inferior to that of those small ships of the Mechanical Race equipped for jumps on the speed limit.

A large number of jump vessels and charging boats were seen sticking close to the passage cleared by the cruiser equipped with exploration equipment by the Mechanical Race, always threatening the Giant.

Chen Ming had already controlled the Giant Level to cease attacking the Mechanical Race cruisers, turning instead to attack those jump vessels.
