Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

The particle torrent of more than two hundred Speed Particle Spears had already swept across the entire battlefield.

Instantly obliterating almost all of the Mechanical Race fleet, exploding into fireworks.

However, Chen Ming specifically left a gap in the firepower net for the Cruiser carrying the cargo.

He had to confirm whether the cargo was still on board.

And it was precisely this gap that gave the Mechanical Race fleet a glimmer of hope.

After a round of attacks, apart from the Cruiser that Chen Ming deliberately spared, there was actually another Cruiser unknown to Chen Ming hiding behind the spared Cruiser, managing to escape the assault.

Moreover, the Cruiser unknown to Chen Ming was activating a Teleportation Engine, which could not be reused by the Cruisers Chen Ming had seen in a short time.

Meanwhile, the vessel Chen Ming spared blocked itself firmly between Chen Ming’s fleet and it.

To avoid friendly fire, Chen Ming had only set up single-sided firepower when preparing the ambush.

Therefore, for a moment, Chen Ming truly couldn’t fire directly.

But he had figured out the reason the Mechanical Race fleet didn’t retreat directly or go to provide support.

Clearly, it was because of this ship.

These ships were probably trying to pick it up which is why they returned to the Planet attacked by the Phase Giant Beast.

This ship is very important.

Then Chen Ming definitely couldn’t let it go.

Luckily, he also had the equipment to block the Teleportation Engine given by Bai Quan.

Although he was using an obsolete model, the outdated model could still work.

As Chen Ming directly used Spiritual Energy to transport and activate the equipment.

The vessel that had started the Teleportation Engine immediately became paralyzed, with its engine experiencing a brief malfunction.

During this short downtime, Chen Ming’s fleet had already maneuvered away,

cross fire directly blasted the engine of the ship protected by the Mechanical Race.

Trying to escape?

You can’t escape at all.

Everyone in the conference room, through the returned images, could see the Mechanical Race’s purpose was to protect this ship.

This ship must be very special, with unique value.

If it could be obtained by the Legion, it would be significant.

But none of them spoke.

Because the ship is with Chen Ming, it’s impossible for Chen Ming to give it up.

If Chen Ming was recruited and executed the mission, they could have a reason to ask Chen Ming to hand it over.

But now Chen Ming had discovered the Mechanical Race’s base, encountered this ship while attacking the base, and captured it.

It’s impossible to ask Chen Ming to surrender the loot.

Anyway, if there is anything Chen Ming finds indigestible alone, he would eventually hand it over to the Legion for handling.

For example, the Energy Crystal Crab, which was something Chen Ming himself acquired.

Previously when doing business with the Legion, upon realizing that he couldn’t handle the entirety of the Empire’s cake, didn’t he ultimately hand it to the Legion?

So as long as it’s something more beneficial for the Legion, Chen Ming would undoubtedly hand it over, he’s not foolish.

Of course, if more Mechanical Race intel could be obtained from this ship, that would be even better.

After all, Chen Ming is about to engage in war with the Mechanical Race, and wouldn’t conceal any intel about the Mechanical Race.

Bai Quan is even less of a concern.

His relationship with Chen Ming is different from others, he can simply ask him if necessary; if he can’t know, then the Legion is even less likely to know.

So now, everyone tacitly pretended not to see and just watched Chen Ming dismantle all the weapons of the two Cruisers in front of him, forcibly taking control of the two ships.

Planning to teleport away.

Qiu Bowen suddenly said at this moment, ”Wait, Chen Ming, can I ask you to do one thing?”

Chen Ming, who was eagerly extracting data lines from the Dusk core on the Cruiser to control the two Mechanical Race Cruisers, directed his attention and asked, ”What is it?”

”The fleet you sent for reconnaissance, don’t let them leave for the time being, wait a bit longer.”
