When Chen Ming saw the panel, the first thing he noticed was not the Gamma AI controlling this Refraction Level.

Instead, it was the two additional lines of data on the panel.

Radiant Energy Capacity and Radiant Energy Dissipation.

This is a system made similar to an electrical system, based on the high-intensity weapon systems and shield systems used by professional combat ships.

Specialized spacecraft combat weapons and shields generate radiant energy that continuously oscillates within the spaceship’s grid, affecting its normal operations.

If this radiant energy is not dissipated, it could lead to issues like grid overload and short circuits.

So, the function and concept of the radiant energy system become very clear and simple.

As long as the radiant energy value isn’t full, the powerful weapons of the combat spaceship can fire at will and maintain the shield’s existence until the dissipated radiant energy can no longer keep up.

In fact, radiant energy can be further subdivided, but Chen Ming’s main job was the maintenance of the Space Station and the repair of ships for convoys or ordinary civilians, so he didn’t have a deeper understanding of combat ships.

This aspect might need him to check resources or gain insights from practical use to understand fully.

In any case, Chen Ming is well aware of the importance of the radiant energy system as it is the guarantee of a spaceship’s combat power.

And it’s not even the most important equipment.

The most important equipment on this Dusk Destroyer is that piece of hardware which serves as the brain of the entire ship, the Dusk Gamma Level AI Core.

Chen Ming could hardly contain his emotions now.

It wasn’t the tension from earlier, but the excitement of controlling a combat destroyer, along with the exhilaration of realizing that he could completely control the Dusk AI Core through the panel.

Chen Ming was now certain that the Dusk AI Core was also under his panel’s control.

Although the control method differed from what Chen Ming had imagined.

It’s not like a weapon that can be controlled at will.

It’s more like the ship’s computer.

Chen Ming can control the spaceship himself or let the computer handle it.

However, everything the spaceship computer does is restricted within the framework of program rules, which follow human instructions.

But the Gamma AI Core’s operation has no such restrictions; it inherently possesses complete consciousness, unhindered by program limitations.

Yet, now it is on a ship controlled by Chen Ming,

So it must adhere to Chen Ming’s rules.

All commands from Chen Ming must be accepted, and all tasks from Chen Ming must be attempted to complete.

In simple terms, the AI Core under Chen Ming’s control is an absolutely loyal subordinate, with abilities far surpassing any ordinary person.

At this moment, a crazy thought suddenly sprung up in Chen Ming’s mind, but he didn’t show any sign of it and deeply suppressed this thought within his heart.

The Iron Ore No. had just been repaired for the second time, and Chen Ming immediately sent a communication request directly to this Dusk Destroyer.

Upon connection, Chen Ming heard a voice similar to the emotionless tone of a terminal greeting him.

”Hello.”

”Hello, do you know your current situation?”

Chen Ming responded and asked the same question he had previously asked another Dusk AI Core.

And the Gamma AI of this Refraction Level also replied very honestly: ”I am now compelled to follow your instructions.”

Chen Ming finally showed a smile and said, ”Good.”

The Gamma AI suddenly asked out of curiosity, ”May I ask how you managed to do this? As far as I know, no individual from Dusk has ever encountered such a situation of being forcibly commanded.”

Chen Ming thought of his panel and said, ”Would you believe me if I said it was Spiritual Energy?”

”I believe, thank you for your answer.”

It fell silent, awaiting Chen Ming’s command.

Chen Ming, naturally not one to be polite, said, ”I need you to prioritize my safety as your highest priority task and help me conceal my situation within your Dusk Fleet.”

”Received.”

The Gamma AI began to operate the Refraction Level.

Meanwhile, Chen Ming quietly observed the spaceship’s log

and found that the Gamma Core quickly reported to the Dusk’s Cruiser with a sentence.

”Capture successful, ship personnel deceased, ship investigation found no value.”

The Cruiser’s only response was a short sentence.

”Continue searching for potentially valuable targets.”

Then there was no further communication; everything returned to normal.

The Cruiser showed no particular reaction to the content reported by the Refraction Level’s AI.

This indicated that the others controlling Dusk had not realized the Refraction Level had been kept under Chen Ming’s control; they still believed the Refraction was one of them.
