After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1895: Chapter 1899: Where Is Your Watch?

On vacation, updates are irregular, please bear with me, everyone.

”I won’t harm the child in your belly, and I’ll even allow you to move freely within the castle and on the grass outside. You just need to agree to one condition of mine...” Luo Ke held up one finger, ”You must not harm yourself again.”

What he wanted was a lively, healthy, perfect collectible, not a broken, unhealthy Luo Xiaoqian.

If taking that child’s life required her life as the price, Luo Ke would rather keep the child.

Luo Xiaoqian slightly furrowed her slender brows, looking at Luo Ke not far in front of her, calculating how much sincerity there was in his words.

Not harm Xiao Xiao?

This point she simply couldn’t believe.

Being able to move freely around the castle and even on the grass was definitely a big temptation. If she was trapped in this room, escape would be impossible.

As for the matter of ”harming herself,” Luo Xiaoqian certainly didn’t do it willingly. If not for protecting Xiao Xiao, she wouldn’t have acted so drastically.

After carefully weighing the pros and cons, Luo Xiaoqian decided to agree for the time being.

”Alright, I agree.”

Seeing her agree, Luo Ke immediately approached her, raising his hand to reach for her arm.

Luo Xiaoqian looked at him warily, instinctively stepping back, ”You... what are you doing?!”

Reaching out to support her arm, Luo Ke carefully peeled off the tape sticking to the bandages, unwinding the messily wrapped bandages one circle at a time.

Watching his actions, Luo Xiaoqian instinctively wanted to pull her arm back, but Luo Ke’s fingers had already tightened.

”This is also part of the deal.”

Alright then, for freedom... she endured it.

Removing the bandages on her hand, Luo Ke carefully applied the medicine cotton, wrapping her palm again with a scarf meticulously, his expression very focused, his movements light, as if he were wiping a precious piece of porcelain, cautious and meticulous.

Fixing the bandages with tape, Luo Ke didn’t move his hand, his palm lightly stroking her wrist. Her skin was like fine china, or like exquisite jade, smooth but not greasy, with an incredibly gentle texture, making him reluctant to let go.

However, this bliss didn’t last long. Seeing that he was done with the bandages, Luo Xiaoqian immediately pulled her wrist away from his hand, raised her left hand, and rubbed the part he held, clearly showing a disdainful expression.

Luo Ke noticed her movement, raising his eyebrows slightly.

”Where’s your watch?!”

He remembered she had been wearing a watch when she boarded the ship. How could it be gone now?

Luo Xiaoqian was startled.

He actually remembered her watch?!

”What watch?” she concealed her surprise, pretending to be clueless.

”Your watch, I remember you had a wristwatch when you boarded. Why is it missing?” Luo Ke asked.

”Oh, that watch, I left it on the ship. It’s a sports version, not suitable to wear with a dress.” Luo Xiaoqian explained casually, quickly changing the topic to avoid arousing suspicion, ”Didn’t you say I could move freely? I want to go out for a walk and get some fresh air.”

She had answered his question; now it was his turn to fulfill his promise to her.

”Alright, I’ll show you around.”

Luo Ke straightened up and led the way out the door.

Did she say she wanted him to accompany her?!

Well, anyway, better scout the terrain first, as long as he doesn’t bring up the watch again.
