After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1868: Chapter 1872: This Won’t Work

Raising her face, her gaze swiftly searched for the location of the surveillance, then she deliberately walked over, face upturned.

She didn’t know if Leng Zimo had discovered the watch she left behind. To leave a trace, she deliberately moved back and forth under the surveillance camera she could see, hoping to leave more clues for him.

”This won’t work,” Luo Ke saw through her thoughts, ”I told you... he is dead, not only Leng Zimo, but also Jiao Yang... they are all dead, no one will come to rescue you.”

”I also said, I don’t believe it!”

Retorting, Luo Xiaoqian forcefully shook off his hand and turned around to walk forward.

Luo Ke strode to catch up, seized her, and with both support and drag, pulled her back into the plane on the tarmac.

A moment later, the plane continued to take off.

Initially, Luo Xiaoqian sat straight to avoid falling asleep. Later, she was so exhausted that she had to lean back against the chair, then her eyelids began to fight each other. Feeling drowsy, she rubbed her face with her hands and forced herself to look out the window.

The South Korean doctor who was also captured watched her with a pained expression, ”Miss Luo, you must rest for a while, don’t forget, you are pregnant!”

Luo Xiaoqian glanced at him and turned her gaze back out the window.

Precisely because she was pregnant, she could not sleep; she couldn’t let this devil Luo Ke seize the opportunity.

Drowsily, she held on for several more hours, and the plane finally landed in Rome.

After leaving the airport by car, Luo Xiaoqian’s spirit was nearing its limit. Finally, she couldn’t hold on any longer and fell asleep leaning against the seat back.

The car passed through Roma City and stopped at a castle in the suburbs.

The car door beside her was just opened by Luo Ke’s men when Luo Xiaoqian woke from her light sleep, instinctively hugging her arms.

Seeing her very guarded appearance, Luo Ke furrowed his brows deeply.

The maids had already come to greet them, and Luo Ke immediately ordered them to escort Luo Xiaoqian upstairs to rest.

Two maids respectfully escorted Luo Xiaoqian upstairs, leading her into a sumptuous European-style room.

”Madam, this is your room.”

Luo Ke walked in, and the two maids immediately retreated to the side respectfully.

”Have a good rest, I know you’re very tired. Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you,” Luo Ke raised his hand to touch her face.

Luo Xiaoqian turned her face to avoid his hand, ”If you want me to rest, leave now.”

Luo Ke withdrew his empty hand, ”Alright, I’ll leave. You rest.”

He left as soon as he said, turning to walk out of the room.

Of course, the two maids still remained outside the door.

Watching them leave, Luo Xiaoqian immediately walked over, carefully locked the door, and placed a chair against it. She turned and walked onto the balcony.

Her room was on the third floor, and being a castle, it was much higher than ordinary buildings. There were many people patrolling the lawn below, and there were surveillance devices outside as well. Escaping seemed impossible.

Yawning powerlessly, Luo Xiaoqian walked back into the room.

Surveying her surroundings, she quickly moved to the wardrobe, retrieved a set of tightly wrapped clothes, and went to the bathroom to change. She secured all buttons and ties tightly, yet she still felt uneasy, rummaging through drawers but finding nothing that could serve as a weapon.
