After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1867: Chapter 1871: Fated but Not Meant to Be

Moscow, Sheremetyevo Airport.

Due to the time difference, it’s only morning in Moscow.

Luo Ke’s private jet landed steadily at the airport. Feeling the slight vibrations of the fuselage, Luo Xiaoqian immediately perked up again.

Under the care of the doctor, the small amount of pollen she inhaled did not cause severe effects. Symptoms like asthma and palpitations had significantly weakened and could almost be ignored. The flushing and rash on her face had also subsided quite a bit.

After all the chaos, Luo Xiaoqian was utterly exhausted.

However, she dared not sleep.

She was truly scared, afraid that once she fell asleep, Luo Ke would make a move on her.

Because of the negotiation, the plane had to stay here for over an hour. Luo Ke immediately ordered his men to buy breakfast for Luo Xiaoqian.

Worried that Luo Ke might tamper with the food, Luo Xiaoqian had barely eaten anything along the way, not even drinking water.

Luo Ke inevitably worried about her state.

Soon, his men brought several breakfasts. The one prepared for Luo Xiaoqian was very nutritious and exquisite, not only with hot milk but also with delicious fruit pies.

However, looking at the tempting food, Luo Xiaoqian simply turned her face away.

Luo Ke frowned and stood up, walked to her front, raised his hand to pick up the milk, took a big gulp, then opened his mouth to show that he had swallowed it, and placed the milk cup in front of her, ”Now, you can drink it!”

Luo Xiaoqian cast a sidelong glance at the milk cup, ”I want to eat at the restaurant.”

”If you’re thinking of using this chance to escape, you might as well give up that idea, Sissi!”

Luo Xiaoqian turned her face to look at him, ”Then what are you afraid of?”

Luo Ke raised an eyebrow, ”Fine, eat at the restaurant!”

So, a few of them got off the plane and went to the airport restaurant.

Luo Xiaoqian queued up, ordered two breakfasts, and personally carried them to find a seat. Only then did she start eating in large bites.

In fact, she didn’t have much appetite, but she couldn’t afford not to eat. The little one in her belly needed nutrition, and her body couldn’t collapse. Even if she couldn’t eat, she had to force herself to.

Watching her devour the food, Luo Ke frowned and pushed his untouched food towards her.

But Luo Xiaoqian pretended not to see, eating her ordered food slowly and carefully, then wiping her lips and fingers clean.

”I’m full!”

She definitely wouldn’t accept his favor!

As Luo Xiaoqian stepped out of the restaurant, Luo Ke just smiled.

He liked her pride. If a woman was so easily conquered, he would only lose his interest in conquering her.

Walking by her side out of the restaurant, Luo Ke reached out to grab her wrist, ”Remember, this is where we first met.”

Luo Xiaoqian tried to shake off his hand but didn’t succeed. She said coldly, ”If life could be started over, I definitely wouldn’t have chosen to transfer here that day.”

”But you didn’t, did you?” Luo Ke grasped her hand with an appropriate force, not enough to hurt but enough that she couldn’t shake it off, ”You Chinese talk about fate. Don’t you think you and I have a lot of fate?”

Luo Xiaoqian scoffed contemptuously, ”The most we have is fate without destiny!”

Luo Ke shrugged, ”Opportunities have to be created by oneself.”

Too lazy to argue any further, Luo Xiaoqian pressed her lips together and remained silent.
