After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1538: Chapter 1542: Then Come With Me

”Is it really that serious?” Xu Xia asked, half-doubtingly.

”Otherwise, you can try it yourself!”

Xu Xia pouted; she didn’t want to carry out such an experiment. ”So, how many times do I have to apply this medicine? Just apply it directly and rub it, right?”

”Apply it five or six times. First, put it on the surface, then press with your palm...”

Xu Xia bent over, stretched out her palm, and imitated his actions, ”Like this?!”

”What you’re doing is rubbing; you can only rub after 24 hours. Now you need to press!” Leng Zirui placed his hand over hers, applying just the right pressure, ”Can you feel it? That’s how it’s done. Not too light, not too hard, don’t rub; otherwise, it will backfire. After every two or three hours, apply it again and then press for twenty minutes. When you get home, remember to elevate your foot and try not to let it bear any weight. I helped you relocate the bone in time. After tomorrow afternoon, you can start rubbing, and the day after, it should be much better.”

”So complicated!” Xu Xia frowned, ”Isn’t there a simpler way?”

”Yes!” Leng Zirui shrugged, ”Two methods: First, just ignore it and let it heal on its own. Second, you can hire me to provide you with 48-hour personal service.”

”Then I’ll let it heal on its own!” Xu Xia lowered her eyes, ”I can’t afford you!”

He was so busy; where would he find the time to take care of her? What’s more, she wasn’t his girlfriend, and he had no obligation to do so.

Her face showed obvious signs of melancholy.

Leng Zirui had no idea what she was thinking. He just assumed she was worried about not being able to attend Tong Ya’s wedding. After some thought, he asked, ”Do you have any activities planned for the next two days?”

”No!” Xu Xia’s mood was a bit low.

Knowing Sister Tongya was getting married, she specifically arranged these three days with Lan Zi to be free. She originally thought after watching Luo Jun’s performance today, she could go to Tong Ya’s place to help with the preparations. Who knew such a thing would happen?

”Then just come with me!” Leng Zirui said.

”Go with you? Where?!” Xu Xia asked, puzzled, raising her head.

”Wherever I go, you go too. Anyway, I can make time to help you with the treatment, right?”

”Isn’t that... not quite right? Won’t I interfere with your work?”

”You can stay in the car while I work.”

”You’re not joking?”

Leng Zirui turned his face, pointing to it, ”Do I look like I’m joking?!”

Xu Xia was secretly delighted, but deliberately teased to cover her emotions, ”Leng Zirui, you won’t sell me, will you?”

”Quite possible.”

”I’ll take my chances! Let’s go!”

As soon as she finished speaking, the lights in the hall came on, signaling the end of the performance.

”Wishing the little friends a joyful program. Today’s performance concludes here. See you on Monday!”

Everyone stood up to leave, and Xu Xia bent down to get her shoes.

Leng Zirui bent down first, hooking her high-heeled sandals. Seeing those wobbly slender high heels, he just frowned.

”You women really risk it all for beauty. You’re not even short, so why wear such high heels? You’re just asking for trouble!”

”I’m wearing a dress; flats don’t look good,” Xu Xia retorted softly.

Leng Zirui glanced at her short skirt, ”Seems like you can’t be carried out today!”

”What?!”

Xu Xia looked up in confusion as Leng Zirui had already grabbed her arm, lifting her from the chair.
